    ?

The lights outside the operating room went out, and Pei Jing hurried over, almost bumping into the doctor who was performing the surgery.

"How is Xiaoxiao? How is she?" Pei Jing asked repeatedly, holding Dr. Chen's hand tightly.

"The baby is fine, but the condition of the mother is not particularly good." The chief surgeon lowered his head and said in a hoarse voice.

Pei Jing walked into the operating room in a daze, and lay down on the cold operating table with a smile.  She had closed her eyes and fell asleep in a daze.

Pei Jing stretched out her hand and carefully smoothed the sweaty hair on her forehead.  Xiaoxiao heard the rustling sound, opened her eyelids with some difficulty, and said with difficulty: "Pei Jing, why are your eyes red?"

Hearing this, Pei Jing hurriedly covered the corners of her eyes: "Just now I opened the window, and the wind and snow outside made my eyes lost. Stop talking, take a breath, and build up your strength."

Xiaoxiao gave a wry smile: "Didn't we often joke that rough skin and thick flesh are tough? Ordinary disasters won't knock me down. It's just that my stomach really hurts now"

Pei Jing turned her head and tried her best to hold back her tears: "You will be fine."

Several nurses came out and pushed Xiaoxiao into the ward to rest.  Pei Jing didn't eat or drink, just stayed by her side.  Xiaoxiao fell into a coma for about an hour, then suddenly woke up again.

She felt chest tightness and shortness of breath, and her head was a little dizzy.  Pei Jing saw that her face was pale, and beads of sweat were rolling down her face.  From the looks of it, it was neither lying down nor standing, it was extremely uncomfortable.

"Pei JingI feel bad" Xiaoxiao glanced weakly at Pei Jing beside the bed, and tears welled up immediately.

Pei Jing gave a "click" in her heart, and cried out in her heart that something was wrong.  While pressing the emergency contact bell, she held Xiaoxiao's hand and said in relief, "Don't worry, maybe you need to reschedule for a checkup now."

Before the obstetrician and gynecologist from outside arrived, Pei Jing lifted the quilt according to her previous experience, and pressed lightly on Xiaoxiao's stomach.

With a scream of "Ah!", Xiaoxiao hurriedly covered her stomach, and her whole body shrank into a ball in pain.

"Smile!" Pei Jing rushed forward anxiously, and hugged her tightly, feeling extremely distressed.  At this moment in her heart, it was like the pain of a knife and a tree. Before the operation, she heard that Xiaoxiao had bleeding symptoms, and if she related her current appearance, she might have had other infections.

Xiaoxiao tightly covered her face, cried and shook her head, and said in a trembling voice: "Pei Jing, I am also a medical student, how could I not know my physical condition? I know I am not very well"

The doctor and nurse on duty rushed over, Xiaoxiao had passed out completely, and the ward was in chaos.  Connected to rubber tubes, connected to oxygen tanks, connected to rescue equipment.  The black shadows coming in and out made Pei Jing's eyes dizzy.

The child was lying soundly asleep in the swaddle, Pei Jing looked down at her, her hair was black and her face was red, she looked exactly like Xiaoxiao.  Pei Jing endured the grief in her heart, and gently patted the restless child in her arms.  Her little mouth was wriggling open and opened, as if she was eagerly sucking milk in a dream.

"Di" A sharp beep sounded, and Pei Jing looked back at the display screen, the ECG curve was dropping rapidly!

She hurriedly hugged the child and walked to Xiaoxiao's bed, calling her name constantly.  The child fell asleep again, her little nostrils fluttering, not knowing what kind of terrible thing she was facing at this moment.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
