    ?

Xiaoxiao's due date is approaching.  Although it is still being treated for the new crown, it is still because of the young and good foundation, and all the conditions of the fetus have been checked as usual.

On this day, Pei Jing will take advantage of the lunch break to accompany Xiaoxiao to walk a few steps in the deserted corridor to relax.  With a big belly, Xiaoxiao walks unavoidably staggering.

Through the light refracted by the glass of the ward, she saw her bloated figure with a smile, and said to Pei Jing with a straight smile, "Look at me, do I walk like a penguin in a zoo?"

Pei Jing chuckled: "That's better than me. I remember when I was pregnant, I suddenly looked in the mirror one day and saw that I was like a hippopotamus. I was so big."

Xiaoxiao originally wanted to say something along with Le, but when he opened his mouth, the expression on his face froze.  Her whole face was pale, and her eyes were full of horror.

Pei Jing realized that something was wrong, and hurriedly supported her shoulder and said, "Smile, what's wrong? What's wrong?"

The muscles on the smiling face twitched slightly: "Pei Jing I'm afraid I'm going to give birth!"

"Hey! This is the beginning of contractions!" Pei Jing slapped her knee anxiously, and hurriedly called other nurses to come over to help.

Xiaoxiao's husband and parents were all scattered in different shelter hospitals because of the new crown infection, and it was impossible to rush to the hospital to visit.  At this point, there was only Pei Jing left by her side.

Pei Jing seized the time to find a way to get the waiting bag: "Don't rush to work hard, the fetus is just moving, and the labor process of the first child is relatively long, at least it will hurt for a day and a night."

After talking, Xiaoxiao suddenly stopped crying.  Pei Jing didn't dare to relax, she just sat in front of the bed and kept busy.  For a while, I recorded the time interval of Xiaoxiao's contractions, and for a while, I paid attention to other changes in Xiaoxiao's body.

Later, because Pei Jing had to rush back to the ward to take care of other critically ill patients, she had to ask the nurse on duty to leave for now.

Xiaoxiao was waiting for her labor alone in the ward. She looked up at the black shadow on the ceiling, feeling alone and extremely lonely.

At night, labor pains always come in bursts.  The pain was severe, Xiaoxiao cried and howled desperately, shaking her head back and forth, she just wished she could hit the wall immediately and fainted, it was better than this kind of torture.

Seeing that she was uncomfortable, the nurse held onto her hand tightly, her face was covered with sweat from tension.  The whole night, Xiaoxiao howled like crazy in the delivery room, but the child was reluctant to come out because of his mother's womb.

In the morning, one or two snowflakes fell outside the window, like velvet all over the sky, shaking down from the sky.

"Oh my god, there's a lot of blood!" With a scream from the nurse, Xiaoxiao was rushed into the operating room

    ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª

Panting, Pei Jing sprinted all the way from the corridor aisle, her heart was pounding, she felt that her heart was going to jump into her throat.  She had just received the treatment of a new crown patient admitted to the hospital when she heard the news of Xiaoxiao's dystocia operation.

The lights outside the operating room were still on, and it seemed that the operation was not over yet.  Pei Jing leaned against the cold wall, feeling bored for no reason, so she walked to the side and opened the small window.  The air outside was cold, snow drifted in and fell on Pei Jing's cheeks, it was cold and damp, especially biting.

For a moment, the snow was like a child's little hand, gently scratching her nose and forehead.  For a moment, Pei Jing suddenly thought, if Xiaoxiao's child is born, it should be so soft and tender, right?

The north wind was blowing, and the snow set off waves one after another with the wind.  During the ups and downs, the entire drowsy sky was stirred up.

Pei Jing leaned out and stretched her hands out of the railing, trying to catch the snowflakes one by one.  But as soon as the snow fell into the palm of his hand, it turned into water, and had no intention of staying in the world at all.

Gradually, Pei Jing's eyelashes were covered with snow beads. In the blur of water and light, she faintly heard a burst of crying from the operating room.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
