Chapter 216: Baotu Spring gushes out from the ground

Previous page        Return to Catalog        Next page

It is easy to call a wife, but it is difficult to call an old woman; it is easy to hold hands, but it is difficult to hold hands for a lifetime; it is easy to say I love you, but it is difficult to say I love you to only one person in a lifetime.  Love is not a whim, but a decision to be together, and they will not be separated for a lifetime.

A woman's taste lies in choosing her husband. Similarly, the kind of wife she chooses is the kind of life she chooses.  In life, what do we really need?  In fact, it is a good attitude and a leisurely mood.  Only people with a harmonious family and a healthy mentality have the conditions for leisure.  For example, marrying a good woman can give a man a leisurely mood.

A good woman is not about her looks, but her heart; a good wife is not about her looks, but her heart.  A virtuous woman becomes more attractive as she gets older; an immoral woman becomes more and more ugly as she grows older.

[1] "Painting Bamboo" Poetry by Guan Guansheng

Guan Guan gave birth to his eldest son, Zhao Liang, seven months after his marriage.

Originally, it was agreed that Liang'er would go to the palace to accompany the Empress Dowager when she passed the "hundred-year-old". Because she was born prematurely and the child was weak and sick, the matter of accompanying the Empress Dowager was delayed.

On this day, the emperor was discussing government affairs with his courtiers, and the eunuch next to the empress dowager came to the Daming Hall to say that the empress dowager had something urgent to inform the emperor.

The emperor hastily ended his political affairs and rushed to the Kunde Hall, thinking: "What is the Queen Mother so anxious about? Could it be that she is in poor health?" Because he was anxious, he unconsciously quickened his pace.

Entering the Kunde Hall, seeing the Empress Dowager sitting safely on top of the main hall, the emperor was relieved, and after seeing the ceremony, he asked: "What is the Queen Mother calling me here for?"

The queen mother said: "The emperor sit down first and listen to Ai's family speak slowly."

    The emperor sat down.

The queen mother said: "At the beginning, I recognized Dao Sheng as a granddaughter, and I wanted her to come into the palace to spend more time with Ai's family. But since she married that Zhao Mengfu, she has disappeared; at any rate, after she gave birth to a child, she will be out of the moon.  Son, after a hundred days also known as confinement at home"

The emperor asked: "These are all born, so what kind of baby will you keep?"

"I'm pregnant again, and I will give birth again in two or three months."

    "Isn't this normal!"

"Is it normal?" the old queen said, "You do the math for her, let's say she was born in May, her second child was conceived in September last year, and her eldest son was just full moon at that time"

"Oh, Queen Mother, what on earth do you want to tell me!"

"What Ai's family means is that Dao Sheng can't give birth to the Zhao family kid! According to this, when will Dao Sheng come to accompany Ai's family?"

The emperor smiled and said: "It is the norm of human beings to have children. Ren Zhen is the emperor, even a profuse sweat can't find fault with him, can he!?"

"But he can't let my goddaughter give birth so desperately! How can she give birth to one a year! It will exhaust the body, emperor! You have to think of a way to separate them for a while, and let Tao  Let that girl rest for a while."

The emperor thought for a while and said: "I remember before, Meng Fu often mentioned the matter of being transferred abroad. If he mentions this again, I will follow suit."

"Can he take the initiative to mention it? How can he be willing to"

"Don't worry about it, Queen Mother. I'll check when I go back to see if there is any vacancy. Just transfer Meng Fu away from the capital" After finishing speaking, the emperor stood up and said goodbye.

Looking at the hunched back of the old emperor, the empress dowager felt sad again, but in order for Guan Guansheng to accompany her and spend the rest of her lonely life, she could only reluctantly withdraw the "arm" of the emperor.

The first month of the twenty-ninth year of Zhiyuan [1292].

Guan Guansheng was teaching Zhao Liang how to walk in the yard. When she arrived at Xiuzhu, she was indeed a little tired, so she called the servant girl to help her son continue walking. She stood for a while touching her big belly, then picked up the brush and began to draw the picture in front of her.  bamboo.

With just a few strokes, Xiuzhu finished the painting, and wrote a small poem under the bamboo painting:

    "Chunqing is sunny again today,

Leisure and son Cao bamboo go down.

The feeling of spring has become stronger recently,

Shi Biansheng, a childish child.  "

Guan Guansheng used dense bamboo shoots to express a mother's ardent expectations for her son.

While admiring his own paintings, Zhao Mengfu lowered his head and came back with a heavy heart.

Dao Sheng asked: "Officer, why do you look unhappy today?"

"Hi! Don't mention it." Zhao Mengfu sat down on the stone bench, "The emperor asked me to go out to work."

"Is this still a problem?" Dao Sheng laughed, "Isn't it what you have always yearned for to work abroad?"

"Hey~, that's stillZao Youyu looked straight ahead without hindrance, and couldn't hide any secrets, and there wasn't any water monster making trouble below.  If you cut the quiet water surface and the rushing fountain into two pictures for people to see, he must not have imagined that the pictures came from the same spring.

Zhao Mengfu suddenly thought of this, isn't it the same for people?  No matter how quiet and weak a person looks, there may be a huge and terrifying power in his heart.

Impressed, he asked his attendant to bring a pen and paper, and wrote down two poems on "Baotu Spring":

"There is no source of Luoshui in the world,

A white jade pot gushes out from the ground.

Gu Xujiu fears that his vitality will be exhausted,

Don't worry about the dryness of the East China Sea in the drought of the year.

? Clouds and mist moisten and evaporate,

The sound of waves shook Daming Lake.

When the spring comes to wash the dust,

Ice and snow are full of Qingxing Gu.

    Notes

    ¡¾1¡¿Integrity interview

Incorruptible visits refer to inspection visits.  In the Song Dynasty, it was the Envoy of Integrity, in the Yuan Dynasty it was called the Envoy of Suzheng, and in the Ming and Qing Dynasties it was called the Envoy of Inspection.  In the Song Dynasty, the Remonstrance Court was established, and the functions and powers of the Taiwan Remonstrance began to be mixed and tended to be unified.  In the Yuan Dynasty, the remonstrance court was abolished, and Taiwan remonstrance was united.  The local government set up Xing Yushitai, which governed 22 supervisory areas, and each province set up an envoy of austerity and integrity (procuratorate for criminal punishment), so that the central and local governments are integrated in the supervisory institutions.

So, what was the supervisory system of the Yuan Dynasty like?

The Yuan regime formed a situation in which the three powers of administration [Zhongshu Sheng], military [Privy Council], and supervision [Yushitai] coexisted in the central government.  The supervision system of the Yuan Dynasty formed a strict supervision network with the Central Yushitai as the center, the Xingyushitai as the focus, and the 22 departments of the Suzheng Lianfang Division under its jurisdiction.

In order to ensure the normal operation of supervisory powers, the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty formulated the "Regulations on the Establishment of Constitutional Platforms", the first relatively comprehensive central supervision regulations in ancient China, on the basis of absorbing the legislative experience of the previous generation.  The specific functions of the supervisory agency have formulated supervisory regulations for Xing Yushitai and Suzheng Lianfang.

The completeness of supervisory laws and regulations is a prominent feature of the supervisory system and political system of the Yuan Dynasty.  The supervisory laws and regulations of the Yuan Dynasty covered various aspects such as the establishment of supervisory agencies, the staffing and management of supervisory officials, the working methods and requirements of the supervisory agencies, the supervisory items and the scope of powers of the supervisory agencies, etc.  It also enriches the content of ancient Chinese legal history.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
