    Because of this, neither the Aviation Development Corporation nor GE regards China Ascendas as an opponent at the 20-megawatt level.

    This can be seen from the tender document for the second phase of the West-East Gas Pipeline Project. The tender document provided to China Tengfei was only for gas turbines of less than 10 MW, and there was no description of more than 20 MW.As for the navy, not to mention, it frequently visits the DA-80t gas turbine production line of the Aviation Development Corporation, but has a silent attitude towards China Ascendas Aviation Power Co., Ltd.     We must know that the thermal efficiency of the early model of LM2500 equipped on the Type 052 guided missile destroyer is only 30%; the thermal efficiency of the da-80t upgraded by the Aviation Development Corporation with great efforts has gradually reached 33%.

    It can be said that the comprehensive thermal efficiency of the ge-2800 gas turbine can reach 36%, which is considered unattainable.

    However, this is not the only advantage of the ge-2800 gas turbine. Its most commendable feature is its fuel consumption, with a unit fuel consumption rate of only 227 kilograms per kilowatt hour.

    We must know that the fuel consumption of a medium-speed diesel engine with tens of thousands of horsepower is only 210 kilograms per kilowatt-hour. The ge-2800 gas turbine can achieve 227 kilograms per kilowatt-hour, which is very close to the fuel consumption of a diesel engine. The economical efficiency is not a bit better.  .

    In terms of fuel consumption, the da-80t of 240 kilograms per kilowatt-hour is obviously still far behind.
