A roadblock was set up along the road in front of the freight company. Four red and white conical pillars were placed. Several strong men held up iron bars to block the roadblock, talking and laughing under the scorching sun.

Xu Zhouwei directed the brothers to collect the protection money from the carloads. Someone bowed his head and said, "I already paid it yesterday." Xu Zhouwei flipped through the account book and waved to let them go after seeing the exact same license plate.

Yao An jumped out of the truck and went to investigate. The roaring car was steaming with steam, gathering together and burning continuously. Even his breath became hot under the dazzling sunlight.

Xu Zhouwei turned around and saw Yao An standing on his feet talking to the driver in the driver's seat from a distance. He strode up with a grin on his face.

The driver said to Yao An: "It's been two days, and I guess it will last a few more days. Calling the police won't work. I caught two of them and went in. It's like this again the next day. I'll have to come up with new tricks again!"

Yao An frowned and listened. From the corner of her eye, she saw Xu Zhouwei rushing towards her. She felt disgusted and turned around and ran away.  Xu Zhouwei was still two steps away from catching up with her, but when he saw her jumping back, he stopped angrily, jumped over several cars, and directly asked the driver who was talking to Yao An for protection money.

When my uncle saw Yao An coming back, he hurriedly asked: "How is it? Are you going to collect money?"

Yao An nodded, and his uncle sighed: "It's really unlucky. I didn't bump into it two days ago, but I bumped into it today."

Yao An pursed her lips and remained silent. After thinking for a while, she leaned out of the window, took out her phone and took some photos.  The sound of iron rods wiping the floor was getting closer and closer. His uncle had already taken out his wallet and prepared it. Yao An frowned: "Uncle"

My uncle smiled and said: "I can only give it a little. It's better to do less than to do more. They are not too evil. At least they really protected our Li Shan's transportation, and other places can't get in."

My uncle jumped out of the truck, handed him a few cigarettes, and paid the protection fee as per the rules.  Two people had seen him in the hospital, smiled and said a few polite words, and wrote down the license plate number as usual.

At night, Yao An came home exhausted. Yao Yanjin yawned and went to give Yao An hot food, then rushed back to the room like a wandering spirit.  Yao An couldn't help but laugh. She calculated Yao Yanjin's remaining pocket money, took out a large bill and placed it on her bedside table.

The next day, Jiang Na slept until three o'clock in the morning. When the midday sun penetrated the bed, he opened his eyes. He stood up and walked to the window with no arms. Roadblocks had been set up on Lishan Middle Road, and a few large goods vehicles were blocked.

There was a black business car parked on the path against the mountain opposite. Jiang Na leaned against the window with his arms folded and squinted for a few seconds. The car window in the sun reflected unusual reflections. Jiang Na took out the telescope from the drawer and looked at it.  I found that the rear seat window of the car had been lowered and half of the curtain was pulled open, vaguely revealing the lens.

He lowered his lips and dialed the phone: "Ask them not to do anything. Just walk around there twice. Remove the roadblock and find someone strong to block the back window of the black business car."

Xu Zhouwei was stunned for a moment. He looked around and realized something immediately. After hanging up the phone, he made arrangements in an orderly manner. The driver who paid half stretched out his hand, then retracted it strangely, and several large trucks drove away safely.  to Lishan Middle Road.

It was past noon when Yao An arrived at the freight center with the car. A camera was set up in front of the stacked goods. A reporter held a microphone to interview, and the person opposite waved his hands to avoid it.  Yao An opened the window and peered in. His uncle had finished moving the goods. He jumped in the car and wiped his sweat. He said, "I seem to be asking about the freight company, but no one dares to speak."

Yao An smiled and said nothing.

When we arrived at Lishan Middle Road, the road ahead was clear and the freight company¡¯s iron gates were wide open, creating a busy scene.  Yao An took out the snacks in the car and ate them slowly, enjoying the air-conditioning and feeling extremely comfortable in his heart.

After two days of running around, it¡¯s Monday in the blink of an eye.  Yao An returned to the R&D room in high spirits. The other end of the east building announced the interview at noon. Yao An was delighted. The other two shrugged: "We still won't go. After all, we have been here for a long time and it will be harder for the superiors to find out."

The other person was very interested and immediately printed his resume and started preparing.

After dinner, Yao An and his colleagues went to the east building. The interviewer was Director Wu of the R&D Office. He had silver-rimmed eyes and was very academic.  The colleague was two years older than Yao An, so he was naturally more senior, more professional, and had obvious advantages. Yao An was a little uneasy.

After coming out of the east building, my colleague laughed and said, "Maybe it's you. When recruiting companies outside, they all like people who are married with children or single without children. People like me who are married without children are the most annoying to them."

Yao An smiled and said: "It doesn't matter, it's just extra money anyway, so it's dispensable."

Shen Lun on the other end took the resume handed over by Director Wu, flipped through two pages and asked, "Have you been studying in Nanjiang?"

Director Wu nodded: "Yes, I have just left school and am still very young, but I seem to be quite well-behaved and have my own mind when speaking. We made an appointment to go shopping on the weekend, and Yao An naturally agreed.

At noon, Yao An went to the east building to take over the work. Shen Lun happened to pass by. Yao An nodded politely: "Mr. Shen!"

Shen Lun nodded and said with a smile: "Our place is small, with only a dozen administrative staff in total. Thank you for your hard work."

Yao An responded with a smile, and Shen Lun added: "This place has been open for more than a month, and I haven't rewarded everyone yet. I'll treat you this Friday. Everyone will be there for dinner and singing."

Everyone was delighted, joking and flattering.

After get off work in the evening, Yao An and his colleagues walked out of the main building chatting and laughing. Xu Zhouwei was sitting next to the stone lion at the door. When he saw her appearing, he stood up with a smile: "Brother Na, let me pick you up!"

The colleague turned his head in surprise, Yao An said awkwardly: "You go first."

The colleague nodded, said goodbye with a dry smile, and walked quickly to the carport.

Seeing his colleague walking away, Yao An hurriedly took a wrong step and took a detour. Xu Zhouwei quickly blocked the road and said with a playful smile: "Sister-in-law, don't always be like this, making it difficult for me!"

The jeep in front was filled with smoke. Jiang Na puffed away the smoke and raised his arms outside the window. The smoke and ashes fell down. It was dull and windless, and it piled up into a small mound in a moment.  He stared at the door of the main building, slowly let go, and the cigarette butt fell on the ashes.

Yao An on the other end turned a deaf ear and insisted on moving forward while clutching the small bag. Xu Zhouwei did not dare to touch her, and he blocked his arms and tried to persuade her with a frown on his face.  While he was distressed, a gust of wind blew by his side. Xu Zhouwei staggered to one side, and then he steadied his steps and saw Yao An being carried on Jiang Na's shoulders, kicking his legs and yelling.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
