Ami was sitting on the bed, holding a book in his hand.

That is one of the many fairy tale books on the bookshelf.  All fairy tales are the same thousands of times. Ami read many of them by touch when she was still learning Braille. Now it is easy to understand them by looking at the pinyin.

When she saw a story she had not read, her progress slowed down, and she felt her eyes were not used to it until she was halfway through the story.

The night is already deep, but there are still the sounds of fireworks exploding in the distance.  Every sound has a special memory in Ami's heart. She raised her head and glanced outside the window. She could only see the lonely street lights outside and the endless flashing light when the fireworks were in full bloom. She couldn't see the shape of the fireworks.

Her eyesight began to deteriorate when she was nine years old, and she began to lose her sense of light when she was eleven years old.  During the Spring Festival of that year when she was about to lose sight completely, she disobeyed and secretly ran with Qian Huan to listen to the sound of fireworks and almost didn't find the way back.

It was rare that grandma didn¡¯t scold her loudly.  Instead, I bought a big, heavy firework.

Grandma took her to a very far place at night, carrying fireworks on her back. Ami still doesn¡¯t know where it was. Anyway, they walked a long way to a place with no one around, and lit the big fireworks.

From the time she left to the time she came back, grandma was quieter than usual, only muttering a few words to herself from time to time.

She said bitterly, why should I show the fireworks I bought to those little bastards on the street?

"What's so good about this? It'll be gone after watching it." Grandma's loud voice seemed a little weak amidst the roar of the fireworks: "You deserve to be invisible, otherwise you will have such a useless life. Even if you can see it, you still can't get it.  It¡¯s useless.¡±

The curtains were drawn, and the fireworks-colored prosperity and decline were abandoned outside the warm wall.

"Ami should go to sleep." Ye Zhiqiu stood by the window, stretched out his hand to straighten the curtains, turned around and approached the bed, put his hands on the quilt, and looked over at the book in Ami's hand: "Today it's still the princess and the knight.  story?"

Ami shook his head and picked up the book to confirm.  There are illustrations on the pages of the book, which depict a character that is different from the image of a little girl wearing a tutu that I have seen before.

"It's a mermaid." Ami smiled shyly: "I can't spell the pinyin quickly."

"Do you want my help?" Ye Zhiqiu opened the quilt and leaned next to Ami naturally, put the pillow in place, took the book in Ami's hand and read it.

She has read this story, but she has always been disdainful of fairy tales.  Why does the princess have to like the prince?  It seems that every princess falls in love with the prince at first sight. Ye Zhiqiu cannot understand this kind of work that does not pay attention to principles and respect reality.  Although everyone recognizes its existence.

¡°It¡¯s just something Ami would like.

"I'll read it to Ami." Ye Zhiqiu lowered his head and glanced at Ami.

Ami also looked up at Zhiqiu. After Zhiqiu took a bath, his hair was always tied up. The roots of the hair on the back of the neck always had a little moisture, making the skin very moist.

Ami thought about it and decided not to tell anyone about her conversation with Lin Lan. She also didn¡¯t plan to tell Zhiqiu tonight that she had decided to leave in a few days.

Although she has understood a lot of things these days, many of which are not very happy, she actually still wants to keep this kind of moment where she can be next to Zhiqiu, smell her fragrance, and listen to her stories.

Ami walked into Ye Zhiqiu's arms and leaned on her shoulders: "You tell me."

Ye Zhiqiu was a little surprised. He was lifted up by Ami's arm, and finally he put his arm around Ami's shoulder.

After all, the frequency of Ami clinging to her has obviously dropped a lot in the past few days.

"Then I'll start." Ye Zhiqiu adjusted his posture, and his chin naturally touched Ami's bun: "In the deep, deep seabed, there is a majestic castle, and there are six mermaid princesses living in it.  They are all very beautiful, especially the youngest princess"

Every time Ami listened to Zhiqiu reading a story, she couldn't help but fall asleep. Her eyelids were glued together when she listened to the little princess falling in love with the prince as usual.

The story is not long, but Ye Zhiqiu read it very seriously: "The mermaid princess was very sad. She said, 'How I want to become a human."

Ami opened her eyes gently. What she raised her head to made Ye Zhiqiu also stopped and looked at her: "Why did you wake up suddenly?"

"The princess wants to become a human being like the prince."

    Ye Zhiqiu smiled: "Yes."

She continued reading: "So, the mermaid princess went to the witch to help her achieve her wish. The witch said: 'I have a way to make you a human, but when you??Lie down and hug Ami gently, stroking her long straight hair: "Would you like to stay for a few more days? There's no rush anyway."

Ami closed her eyes and kept rubbing against Zhiqiu: "Then can we sleep together like this every day?"

    Ye Zhiqiu smiled: "Okay."

Then there was nothing more. They all knew that this might be only temporary.

Ami and Ye Zhiqiu got up at the same time, and she agreed to take Zhiqiu's car to go near the hospital. Regarding what happened next, Ami firmly stated that she would not tell Zhiqiu.

¡°Otherwise, Zhiqiu would definitely be tempted to help her.

Suddenly I liked the traffic jam on the road for a long time today. Ye Zhiqiu controlled the speed to a much lower level than usual, and told Ami things to pay attention to from time to time.

"You should keep your bank cards safe, don't trust strangers casually, don't eat instant noodles, don't stay up late at night practicing calligraphy, something must happen"

    Ami kept nodding.

The car finally stopped at the central square opposite the hospital.

"Why are you crying?" Ye Zhiqiu put the box in front of Ami. When he looked up, he saw tears rolling down Ami's face, and his heart became sour. He hurriedly took out a tissue from his body to wipe Ami's tears.

Ami is still stubborn: "Zhiqiu, I think it's difficult to make money."

"I definitely can't earn as much as Lu Beinan. It makes Ami really sad to see such a good woman like Zhiqiu want to live with someone else."

"Ami, when you truly understand this world, you will find that there are many more important things than making money, and you will also find that there are actually many people better than Zhiqiu." Ye Zhiqiu helped Ami wipe away the tears that kept pouring out: "  Okay, I can¡¯t cry anymore.¡±

Although I no longer live with her and will still see each other often in the future, I still feel like I am losing her.

"I don't believe there is anyone better than Zhiqiu." Ami reached out and touched Zhiqiu's eyebrows, then touched her eyes and the bridge of her nose, feeling Zhiqiu's appearance with her fingertips just like she did before she could see.  .

Ye Zhiqiu shaved the bridge of Ami's beautiful and straight nose, slightly curved his moist eyes, and smiled: "Ami is much better than Zhiqiu, strong and brave. Look, you are so powerful that you dare to leave now.  Me."

Although Zhiqiu kept telling Ami not to do this or that, he didn¡¯t dare to tell Ami not to leave so early.

Zhiqiu is also afraid. After Ami leaves, he is like the wind that is completely free.

Stay strong, each of you, and good night.
