The bedroom door was pushed open.

Sister Pi watches Korean dramas, the youngest listens to songs and reads comics, and the youngest goes out on a date with Liu as usual.

Everything is the same as usual.

Bai Lu has a reserved personality and would not push the door with such force on weekdays. Sister Pi raised her head from the computer and looked behind her.

"The director is back. By the way, our hard drive was not forgotten in the store. I found it on your desk."

    Bai Lu nodded silently.

Sister Pi felt something was wrong and took off her headphones, "What's wrong?"

    "It's nothing." Bai Lu whispered.

"Did they say anything after reading the poster?"

Bai Lu took a breath and shook her head slowly, "No, just do it like this. I'll go tomorrow -"

Before he finished speaking, there was a knock on the door behind him.

"Bedroom director? Lulu? Are you here?" It's Huang Xinying.

Bai Lu turned around and opened the door. Huang Xinying was wearing a light-colored suspender skirt. Her hair was tied up high, revealing her broad forehead. Because of the hot weather, her face was faintly red.

    Bai Lu said: "What's wrong?"

"Let me tell you something." Huang Xinying held a small notebook in her hand, "The class is counting the number of people at the dinner party. Will your dormitory participate?"

    ¡°Dinner party?¡±

"Yes, it's in Xu Hui's shop." Huang Xinying said, "I've checked out all the rooms, the biggest one."

Hearing Xu Hui's name at this time, Bai Lu felt something indescribable in her heart. Seeing her pause, Huang Xinying immediately said: "You have to come. If you don't cooperate with his store, how can you do it if you don't go? And it's fun."  Yeah, let¡¯s cook and make dumplings by ourselves! How about it, are you coming?¡±

He poked his head in to see Sister Pi, "Sister Pi, come with us."

Sister Pi also wanted to go. She didn¡¯t know why Bai Lu hesitated, but adhering to 517¡¯s consistent external management philosophy, Sister Pi did not express her opinion immediately.

With a calm face, he said, "Chief, I will listen to you."

Huang Xinying looked back at Bai Lu, with natural doubts in her eyes.

There is really no reason to refuse, Bai Lu nodded, "Well, all four of us will go."

"Okay." Huang Xinying clapped her hands, "The dinner costs fifty yuan per person."

For junior students, dinner parties are far more attractive than exams.  With one week left, the math class representative is already calculating the ratio of meat to vegetables to buy.

From Monday to Wednesday, Bai Lu didn¡¯t listen to a single lesson.

She was in a chaotic and complicated state, her mind was dry, her chest was tight and short of breath, and she was extremely anxious.

This is not her usual state, and she tried to adjust it for three days without success.

On Wednesday, she sat in the study room all afternoon, and finally realized a truth just as the sun was about to set.

    She was nervous.

This feeling is a bit like taking a test that you will definitely fail, or participating in a war that is destined to be unwinnable.

    Failure is inevitable.

At the last moment, Bai Lu quickly wrote a sentence in the English reference book, as if she was discouraged and could see through the back of the paper.

"Between two people, the one who makes the last mistake is always inferior."

After finishing writing, she closed the book, packed her backpack and left.

There are very few people in the square at the entrance of the school. There is a small fountain and a huge metal decorative sculpture next to it.  The land here is wide and the lights are dim. Occasionally, some people chatting and walking will pass by, but they are not familiar with each other.

When Bai Lu came, Xu Hui had already arrived.

He was sitting on a chair behind the sculpture, with his arms spread out and resting on the back of the chair.

There are thick bushes next to the chair, and there are insects chirping in the summer night.

Xu Hui lowered his head and couldn't see his face clearly, but Bai Lu still recognized him at a glance.

His figure is particularly easy to recognize in the night.

Bai Lu walked over. He was motionless, as if asleep. His long legs were slightly spread, and the metal belt buckle could be vaguely seen on his curved abdomen.

    "Xu Hui."

Bai Lu called him, Xu Hui reacted a little slowly and raised his head.  He must have just come out of the shower. His hair was not completely dried and was still heavy and hanging on his forehead.

"Oh" He really just noticed Bai Lu, "You're late." (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
