Bai Lu sat down on the stool behind the corner to rest.

After waiting for more than ten minutes, feeling a little bored, Bai Lu took out a vocabulary book from her bag and memorized the words to play.

At ten twenty, Bai Lu put away everything and focused on the door of the ward.

    It¡¯s past half past ten.

    Ten forty¡fifty¡

    Eleven o'clock.

She still hasn¡¯t waited for anyone.

    Are you not coming?

Bai Lu pursed her lips, let out a long sigh, put away her vocabulary book and prepared to go back.

The elevator was so busy that if I didn¡¯t come for a long time, a lot of people were already crowded at the door.  Seeing this situation, Bai Lu couldn't transport everyone away even if the elevator came, so she simply took the stairs.

Entering the stairs, Bai Lu instantly retracted her toes as if she had stepped on a switch, and turned over to lean against the wall outside the corridor.

    My heart was pounding.

Bai Lu opened her mouth, but she still hadn't recovered.

What are you doing? It¡¯s so scary.

Half a minute later, Bai Lu turned sideways slightly to ensure that her body was not exposed, and looked out.

He was still standing where he was.

Xu Hui was wearing the same clothes he had been wearing in the rain that day - a black shirt, jeans, and white casual shoes.  He stood at the bottom of the stairs, looking out the window and smoking, his expression could not be described as relaxed.

There is a plastic bag on the windowsill, and it can be vaguely seen as fruit.

People came, but didn¡¯t go to the ward?

Bai Lu thought, the smell of cigarette smoke at the entrance of the stairs was already quite strong, he must have smoked more than one cigarette.

Bai Lu waited patiently. After a few minutes, Xu Hui put out his cigarette and turned around to go downstairs.

    Bai Lu followed.

Bai Lu originally wanted to keep a little distance, but later found out that she was overthinking it.  Xu Hui was very fast, and Bai Lu had to run as fast as she could to avoid being thrown too far away by him, let alone control.

Xu Hui came out of the inpatient department and walked directly to the door. Bai Lu patted him on the back just before he left the building.

Xu Hui turned around, and Bai Lu almost bumped into her due to her inertia.  Fortunately, Xu Hui reacted quickly and grabbed her arm before hitting her, pulling her aside.

The movement is a little rough and the arm hurts a little.

Xu Hui frowned and stared at her with a very bad look on his face.

    "What?"

Bai Lu was out of breath, breathing heavily behind the mask.

Xu Hui turned around and left.

    "Why¡¡"

Bai Lu stopped him, and Xu Hui turned his head again, his expression even more impatient.

    "in the end¡ª¡ª"

Bai Lu pulled off her mask, her face turned red from the heat outside.

She pointed at herself and took a deep breath.

    "Remember, remember me?"

Xu Hui paused and relaxed his eyebrows, obviously recognizing Bai Lu.

    "It's you."

Bai Lu nodded, "You still remember me."

Xu Hui looked Bai Lu up and down.

    "Um."

Bai Lu sniffed, her chest felt itchy due to the strenuous exercise, and she sneezed loudly before speaking.

Xu Hui: "Have you caught a cold?"

Bai Lu rubbed her nose: "I got caught in the rain last time."

Xu Hui: "Coming to see a doctor?"

Bai Lu: "I stopped by to visit a friend. He is hospitalized here. I happened to see you when I came downstairs." She looked at Xu Hui and whispered, "You walked so fast, I almost couldn't catch up."

    Xu Hui smiled faintly, "Really?"

Bai Lu: "I wanted to call you, but I didn't know what your name was. Are you here to see a friend too?"

Xu Hui looked a little absent-minded, with his hands in his trouser pockets and his head slightly lowered.

    "¡¡Um."

Bai Lu held the backpack strap in her hand and asked, "Have you had lunch?"

    Xu Hui raised his eyes.

He looked very tall in front of her. Bai Lu nodded and lowered her voice.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
