The two sisters arrived at the cotton mill before five o'clock and took a good spot in the shade of the big camphor tree at the entrance of the factory so that they did not have to bask in the sun. Although it was already five o'clock, the sun was still very hot.

People setting up stalls came one after another, including those selling jelly, popsicles, snacks, fruits, and even vegetables. It was as lively as a small market.  Gao Liang waited patiently. Gao Pan's fair face was red at the moment. He didn't know whether it was because of the heat or nervousness. Gao Liang fanned himself with a hat and said to his sister: "Is it too hot? You go first.  Sit down and rest for a while.¡±

Gao Pan bit his lower lip and said somewhat unconfidently: "Sister, can you sell it?"

"Okay, there are so many people, and our portion is not too much." With yesterday's experience, she reduced the portion today, trying not to leave any leftovers.

Gao Pan nodded anxiously and looked at the spacious and elegant gate of the cotton spinning factory. Looking through the iron gate, he could see the tall, semi-old factory building inside, as well as neatly trimmed flower beds and several lush oleander trees.  Taozheng is blooming with gorgeous red flowers, and the environment inside is clean and tidy. It should be very good to work here. At least you don't have to bask in the sun like their sisters, and you still get a fixed amount of money every month, Gao Pan thought.

Finally, the bell rang, the factory got off work, and workers wearing uniforms of dark blue shirts came out, with confident and calm smiles on their faces.  Some people rode away directly, while others stopped and started buying things.  Gao Pan was a little embarrassed, but still came to help.

Almost no one has ever seen such a cold dish. Some people asked curiously what it was. Gao Liang explained that it was a cold dish and enthusiastically persuaded people to try it for free. Some people took a bite out of curiosity, but before they could speak, a voice suddenly  Interjected: "Ah, are you really here to sell cold vegetables?"

Gao Liang and Gao Pan looked around and saw a somewhat familiar face. This person should be Li Junyi's friend. They had dinner together on Junwei's birthday, but Gao Liang only remembered that his nickname was Wangwang. He didn't know the details.  It was impossible for her to call someone a nickname, so she smiled and nodded and said hello: "Yes. Are you off work?"

Wang Yanjun was wearing a cotton mill work uniform. It was different from the dark blue shirts worn by ordinary workers. His shirt was light blue, but the red cotton mill logo was also embroidered on the left chest. It could be seen that the type of work was different. He put his head  Gao Liang looked at the cart and said, "I've never tasted many new varieties. Can I try them?"

    Gao Liang smiled: "Of course."

Wang Yanjun tasted a little of each, and then said: "Give me some of each, weigh two pounds."

"Put it in yourself." Gao Liang quickly handed over the tong and asked Wang Yanjun to pick up the food himself.

While picking up the vegetables, Wang Yanjun said to his colleagues behind him: "You guys should also buy some and try it. It tastes very good. This kind of cold salad is the most appetizing. You don't have to go home and cook. The boss is my friend's sister, and the food is very good."  It¡¯s absolutely clean and hygienic, feel free to buy it.¡±

Gao Liang added with a smile: "I just made the dishes in the afternoon, they are absolutely fresh."

As soon as Wang Yanjun took the lead, many people gathered around. After trying the food, they found that the taste was surprisingly good and the price was not expensive, so they bought one catty of this one and half a catty of that one. Gao Liang and Gao Pan were immediately busy.  Get started.  Wang Yanjun didn't leave immediately. He retreated behind the cart and watched Gaoliang selling vegetables.  Gaoliang didn't prepare many dishes, only a dozen kilograms, and they were sold out in ten minutes.

Wang Yanjun waited for them to sell out before saying, "Let me tell you, the purchasing power of people in our factory is quite strong. Your quantity is a bit small. You can definitely make more. I'm leaving. Goodbye!"

"Wait a minute, brother, I'll give you today's food, and I'll pay you back the money." Gao Liang stopped him and took out two dollars and handed it to him.

Wang Yanjun looked at her: "What are you doing? Are you afraid that I can't pay?"

Gao Liang said sincerely: "No, thanks to your help today. You are brother Junyi's friend. It's my first time to come here, so I should treat you to food." If it weren't for Wang Yanjun's help today, her vegetables would definitely not be sold.  So smooth.

"No, I already had it yesterday." Wang Yanjun waved his hand and pushed the cart away.

Gao Liang froze on the spot, what does it mean that he ate it yesterday?  She didn't see Wang Yanjun yesterday - wait a minute - Li Junyi said he sold those vegetables for her last night. Could it be that he gave them to his friends to eat, and the money he gave her this morning was his own?  The more Gao Liang thought about it, the more he felt that this possibility was very high.

Gao Pan watched his sister standing there in a daze, and then asked carefully: "Sister, what's wrong?"

Gao Liang came back to his senses: "It's okay, let's go back."

On the way home, Gao Liang kept thinking about Li Junyi helping him pay the bill."Li Junyi did not try to persuade her to stay, but just looked at this thin and thin girl in the faint moonlight. She had a maturity that was not consistent with her age. It was as if her parents had died and she had grown up overnight. She was obviously not yet an adult.  Having to take full responsibility for the lives and futures of three younger siblings is a bit heartbreaking, but also admirable.

Gao Liang walked to his yard and suddenly turned around: "Brother Junyi, if you have any dishes you want to eat, you can tell me, I can cook a lot of dishes."

When Li Junyi heard this, he couldn't help but joke: "Is it free?"

    Gao Liang said: "Of course."

Li Junyi said: "You're kidding. Go back to sleep."

Gao Liang staggered into the house and went to sleep. After all, he had to get up early the next day.  This is how Gao Liang began to work hard to make money from early in the morning to late at night. He would get up at three o'clock in the morning to make cold dishes, go out to sell for a while in the morning, come back to take a rest, continue cooking in the afternoon, and then go to the cotton spinning factory to set up a stall.  Li Junyi's reputation is really great. Wang Yanjun took the initiative to help Gao Liang for a few days. He saw that the customer base was stable and did not come back again.

The stalls in the morning and evening have a fixed source of customers, and the business is surprisingly good. There is no need to worry about selling the dishes every day.  Gao Liang was so tired every day that he just wanted to sleep, but he also made real money, earning twenty or thirty yuan every day.  While counting the money, Gao Liang felt that all the hard work was worth it. No matter how hard and tiring the days were, he would be motivated if he had a goal.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
