    Chapter 15

Li Zan turned around and saw cars passing by on the street. Several cars were coming towards him. The speed of the cars was normal and nothing unusual.

"That car!" Song Ran shouted again and ran over.

Li Zan quickly scanned the drivers in all the cars, one after another, and he quickly identified them.

As if out of his natural keen sense of smell, when he glanced across the driver's seat of the car, he noticed something strange.

The man in black in the car met his eyes, and in the flash of lightning, both of them were alert.

Li Zan raised his hand to signal him to stop the car, and touched his waist with his other hand.  The man in black stepped on the accelerator in an instant, and Li Zan instantly drew his gun, took aim, and pulled the trigger.  "Bang", the right front tire of the car was blown out!

The car swerved suddenly and crashed into the roadside where Li Zan was standing.  The man in black released the accelerator, controlled the direction, then stepped on the accelerator to escape onto the road.  The moment the vehicle turned away, Li Zan rushed up in two or three steps, jumped on the front hood of the car, fired with a "bang", the windshield exploded in half, and Li Zan rolled into the cab.  When I looked back, I saw there was a bomb in the back seat.

The attacker drew his gun and aimed at Li Zan. Li Zan blocked his wrist and tried to remove his gun.  But the other party was not a vegetarian, and his strength was amazing. The two struggled and fought together.

    "boom!"

The remaining half of the windshield exploded, and broken glass flew into the air, scratching their faces.

The smell of blood aroused the men's fighting spirit. Both of them became red-eyed, and their hands became more intense. They stepped on the accelerator to the bottom and ran rampant on the street.

The Dongguo soldiers at the entrance of the temple rushed up to stop him, and Li Zan shouted: "Bomb!"

The soldiers did not dare to shoot at the car, so they could only shoot the tires.

The car bumped wildly and rushed into the Grand Bazaar without slowing down.

Merchants, vendors, and customers screamed and fled in all directions; cloth, spices, and scones were thrown all over the car.

The target of the attacker was the crowded market on weekends. As soon as he rushed into the center of the crowd, he slammed on the brakes and the inertia threw the two people who were struggling against the car console.

The attacker rushed to grab the detonation button; Li Zan grabbed his hand holding the gun and punched him in the face. The man in black leaned back, and the remote control in his hand flew up to the console. He simply used both hands  Grab a gun and shoot a bomb.  Li Zan strangled his hand and twisted it upward. "Bang!" The bullet broke through the roof of the car.  Li Zan restrained his hand and kicked him on the console. The remote control flew out of the broken windshield.  He kicked the attacker's knee hard again, and the latter screamed.  Li Zan took the opportunity to step on the accelerator, the car accelerated again, and continued to rush forward in the Grand Bazaar.

Song Ran rushed to the market ceiling and saw cars rushing out of the Grand Bazaar through a chaotic and broken road.  And people huddled on both sides of that "road", terrified.

Song Ran stepped on the shelves of wood, spices and cloth and ran out.

She heard a series of gunshots, one after another piercing her heart.

This road is too long, and the market exit at the end is filled with white light, which is the bright sunshine outside.  She tried her best to run out, but the moment she rushed into the scorching sun, she heard a loud explosion in the distance.

The street in front of her was safe and sound, with people looking at the sky in horror.

The car had already driven a few streets away, and the explosion site could not be seen.

Song Ran¡¯s heart dropped suddenly and she ran in that direction with all her strength.

She ran an unknown distance and arrived out of breath - it was a small shopping street, and the government troops who arrived had set up a cordon.  Song Ran wanted to go in and take a look, but was not allowed.  And reporters from all over the world came from all over to remind her: it¡¯s time to start working.

She closed her eyes forcefully to calm herself down.

Like other reporters, she showed her press card, but she could only report from the outside circle.  The scene inside was too bloody.  Except for a few journalists from their own country, no one else was allowed to approach.

Song Ran occupied a position with no blocked view among a group of foreign reporters, quickly set up various equipment, and established a satellite connection with the country.

During the signal connection process, she scanned the surrounding environment.

The streets were blown to pieces, with burning garbage and clothes flying everywhere.  The car had been blown into flaming ruins, and the two shops closest to the bomb had been blown into black holes. Flames were flying on the door panels and walls, and soldiers were putting out the fire with fire extinguishers.

In the middle of the street, several corpses were lying in a mess, some of their limbs had been decomposed, and the smell of blood filled the street.  Soldiers and doctors were looking for anyone who could be saved in the crowd.  The dead have become outcasts, with no time to care.

Song Ran saw this scene for the first time. Anger, nausea, sadness, helplessnessall kinds of emotions surged in her chest.  Her eyes were red and she almost felt sick.

    &n??Looking very sad.

Li Zan looked at her for a long time, then looked into the distance and said softly: "Jiang Lin is fine, don't worry."

Song Ran tore off the bandage in her hand, her heart turning over and over again, but she had nothing to say.

Full of sorrow, she twisted into one sentence: "I cry for everyone who was injured today." She rolled up the wet bandage in her hand, wiped her dirty fingers vigorously, and said, "Today is so miserable."

    "I haven't seen it before."

    "No, How about you?"

"I saw you last time I came to evacuate overseas Chinese. So"

    "What?"

"I wonder if I can do something to make this end as soon as possible. But" He curved his lower lip very lightly, but the smile was not half-smiling, but rather bitter.  I didn¡¯t finish the rest of the words, just left them there.

Song Ran comforted: "Although there are many injured today, there are few dead. If there was an explosion in the market, the consequences would be disastrous.  You saved many people."

Li Zan shook his head gently.

He failed to defuse the bomb.  After he killed the attacker, he jumped into the back seat to defuse the bomb.  But the man had accomplices who chased him in a car and shot into the car.  Li Zan had no other choice but to abandon the car and get out.  Eventually, the bullet detonated the bomb.

He was not at peace and wanted to say something.  But the back door of the hospital was pushed open, and Soldier A stuck his head out: "Jiang Lin has been bandaged. He's fine."

"Okay." Li Zan stood up.  Song Ran also stood up. Her legs were a little numb and she accidentally staggered when she stood up.

Li Zan subconsciously reached out to help her, but she retracted her arm and dodged away pretending to be unintentional.

His hand hung in the air for half a second and then he slowly took it back.  And she had already walked into the hospital to see Jiang Lin.

At the other end of the corner of the corridor, comrades gathered around Jiang Lin to greet him, and Song Ran also comforted him softly.

At the corner, Li Zan was leaning against the wall, with his head lowered, taking a cotton ball and wiping the wounds on his hands.

After wiping for a while, he frowned and raised his head, leaning his head against the wall and looking at the sky silently.  Looking at it, he let out a deep breath.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
