He stiffened his back and stared at the drops of blood in silence. He felt as if his heart had fallen here piece by piece, and he could no longer pick it up.  A kind of pain spread from his fingertips to his heart, and then filled every corner of his body. It was like the despair of having no life left to live, slowly devouring him until he was drowned.

The sound of the strings breaking shocked Yu Bing, and she hurriedly walked over.  He saw the broken strings, the blood spattered on the surface of the piano, and Yan Su's scratched fingers.  Yu Bing was startled and hurriedly took out the handkerchief to stop the bleeding from Yan Su's finger.

"Your Highness, it's almost dawn. You have to go to court soon, so you should lie down for a while." Yan Su was like a clay sculpture, letting Yu Bing support her and lay down on the bed, closed her eyes, and was silent again.

Yu Bing didn't know if Yan Su fell asleep or something happened. She put down the curtain and sat on the side of the bed to guard her, not daring to go away.  She didn't know what happened, but she was sensitive to the fact that the prince had suffered a devastating blow.

The night has gone and dawn has come.  The sunlight climbed up the window pane and cast a faint halo on the ground.

Yan Su still made no move.

He missed the time to go to court at Mao Shi, which would never have happened before.

The shadows of the sun were moving, and it was almost noon. The sound of selling sweet-scented osmanthus cakes came from the alley, mixed with the laughter of someone's children.

Yan Su still made no move.

The worry in Yu Bing's heart became more and more intense. She finally couldn't help it and called in a low voice: "Your Highness, it's time to get up."

No one in the tent answered. If Yu Bing hadn't personally helped Yan Su lie on the bed and sat here for so long, she would have almost thought that there was no one on the bed.

"Your Highness, it's time to get up!" Yu Bing raised her voice and said it again.

There was still no sound inside. Yu Bing was about to lift the curtain when she saw the curtain was lifted from the inside.  Yu Bing hurriedly hung the curtain on the hook and went over to help Yan Su.

She glanced at Yan Su unintentionally and was stunned for a moment.  After just one night, she didn't seem to recognize the person in front of her very well.  He is obviously a prince, but he doesn't look like it.  She looked carefully and found the difference.

    It¡¯s the sideburns.

The hair on Yan Su's temples, which was originally as dark as ink, now turned slightly frosty, looming under the sunlight, adding a sense of vicissitudes to him.

Yu Bing¡¯s eyes widened in shock, and she was speechless looking at the few wisps of frost dotted around Yan Su¡¯s temples.

Overnight, the young and handsome Prince Anling seemed to have aged ten years.

When Qin Jiu woke up, it was already dawn. This was the most peaceful sleep she had had in several years, and she had no dreams.

She slowly opened her eyes, unable to adapt to the sudden light.  She squinted her eyes and realized that she was sleeping on the eaves. It was already bright and the sun was dancing among the leaves.

She moved again and realized that she was being held in Yan Yu's arms.  She leaned on his chest obediently, and his strong arms were wrapped around her waist, holding her firmly in his arms.  The strong male scent burned on her cheeks, and she could feel his heartbeat hitting her eardrums, shaking her senses forcefully again and again.

Qin Jiu couldn't believe that she was held in his arms like this and slept all night.  She raised her face, and looking from this angle, she could see the elegant lines of Yan Yu's jaw.

Yan Yu was not asleep. He soon discovered that Qin Jiu was awake. He leaned down and Qin Jiu watched the handsome and charming face gradually enlarge in front of her eyes. She didn't know how to react for a long time.  Yan Yu asked in a low voice: "Did you sleep well?" There was a trace of tiredness on his handsome face, as if he had not slept all night.

Qin Jiu pushed Yan Yu away, sat up from his arms, and stroked the messy hair on his temples, "I was too tired yesterday, why didn't you wake me up."

Yan Yu moved his arms and legs, only to feel that they were numb. The corners of his lips curled up slightly, "I see you are sleeping so soundly, how can I bear to wake you up."

When Qin Jiu saw his look, she knew that his arms must be numb after holding her like this all night.  She approached him and lightly beat his arm, "Yu Heng, if you don't want to wake me up, you can carry me into the house."

Yan Yu yawned and came up to her, smiling coquettishly, "If I carried you into the house, how could I let Lai Zhuer beat my legs?"

Qin Jiu smiled, but she never thought that Yan Yu would be so considerate.  She smiled sweetly, turned around and sat on Yan Yu's lap, put her arms around Yan Yu's neck, and said with a sweet smile: "Yu Heng, can you do me a favor?"

Yan Yu smiled evilly, whispered in her ear: "Don't say I'm doing you a favor. At that time, although there were dim oil lamps hanging on the walls, they were not bright. The dim light was like a will-o'-the-wisp in the underworld.

The further inside, the colder Qin Jiu's heart became.

She listened to the various voices of the prisoners in the prisons on both sides, some shouting, some crying, some going crazy. She smelled the rancid smell in the air, and her heart throbbed.  His father, mother, brothers, and all his relatives spent some of the darkest days here.

The guard of the Tianlao personally led Qin Jiu to the innermost cell. This was an independent cell that held only one prisoner.  Because all the high-ranking officials of the DPRK and Central Government were detained here, the cells were neat and clean, but there was still some unpleasant smell because of the blocked air.

The person detained here is Su Qing.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
