"It looks like I don't even need to pull out the knife." Fang Lang chuckled and patted the clothes that were stained with dust with one hand.  He changed into his customary civilian clothes and stood out among the crowd wearing samurai uniforms.  Fang Lang whispered, then faced downstairs, raised his voice and waved his hand to give the next order, "Lock up the remaining living people! Clean up the scene."

Bai Yasha wiped the blood on the sword on the clothes of the fallen people, and put the katana back into the scabbard.  Takasugi took advantage of the situation and retracted the knife, while Gui let go of the hand holding his head and watched the strangely colored Celestial Being's head roll down the stairs connecting the second floor to the lobby on the first floor and be buried in the pile of corpses.

"It's really ironic. The heavenly beings who were originally so high turned out to be exactly the same as these guys who were ridiculed by them after death." Gui wiped the blood stains on his face with his sleeves and said coldly.

"We will clean up here first, and then follow the plan and forge intelligence to report to our superiors." Takasugi accepted Gui's words and never took his eyes off him.  This task was originally assigned to Gui, but his situation was a bit strange, and Takasugi was a little worried about his situation.  However, Gui has always been convincing in his tasks, so Takasugi stopped pursuing it.

"We can't relax now. Takasugi, you and Shiroyasha go search the rooms here to see if there are any hidden reserves. Gui and I will check again to see if there are any survivors. Turn on the exhaust fan and close all the windows and doors.  You brought fifteen people with you, which is enough."

Fang Lang signaled to Gao Shan, and then Bai Yaksha followed closely to Gao Shan.  Fang Lang grabbed Gui, who seemed to be in a daze, and pulled him downstairs.

When I looked up again, Takasugi and Shiroyasha had disappeared.  Fang Lang was secretly relieved in his heart and released his hand holding Gui's wrist.  The next action seemed to be even quieter, and he slowly explored all the small corners that he had not noticed before, without letting a single living person escape.

In the room that looks like a warehouse, Gui is looking behind the box.  Fang Lang stood at the door, with only the light from the corridor lights, and the visibility inside was not high.  However, the lights in this place are still half broken, flickering from time to time.

Seeing that the exploration was almost done, Fang Lang finally spoke.

There is a reason why he would keep Gui by his side instead of letting Gui still act with Takasugi.

Fang Lang could tell at a glance that something was wrong with Gui's situation, although he didn't know if others had noticed.  He just kept Gui beside him specifically so that he could ask something.

Now is a good time, so Fang Lang finally spoke.  "Gui, what's wrong with you?"

    "Um?"

Gui didn't seem to understand the meaning of Fang Lang's question. He hummed in a low voice and turned his head.  With the light behind him, he couldn't see Fang Lang's face clearly.

"I mean, your state uh, I mean, what you just did, do you hate it?"

"Is it about killing a heavenly being?"

    "¡¡Yes."

Although Gui¡¯s brain is not very good, he can still hear simple things.  After hearing this, Gui seemed to feel more at ease.  He exhaled softly, and after his chest rose and fell slightly, he raised one arm and rested it on the shelf where the cartons were placed. He also relaxed his body and rested his entire weight on the shelf.

"Don't worry about anything, Fang Lang, don't look at me like this, I can do things like killing people."

"It would be nice if you had no problem, but your situation is obviously wrong. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come to ask you specifically."

Fang Lang was still a little worried.

But Gui has completely relaxed, and the stiffness just now is not visible on his expression.

"You worry too much. I just think this victory is too simple."

    "It's not simple."

    Fang Lang shook his head.

How could it be simple?  Although this combat plan has been sketched in my mind for a long time, writing the combat plan is one thing, and actually executing it is another.  Fortunately, these samurai, Takasugi, Katsura, and Shiroyasha did not disappoint Takasugi.

If you follow the plan perfectly, you will be completely victorious. This is expected.  And they all did it, and Fang Lang was very pleased.

So he didn¡¯t want Gui Hui to think it was easy to do this.

"Is that so" Gui turned away and remained silent for a long time as if thinking about something.  Then he exhaled heavily again, and when he looked at Fang Lang again, his usual smile was already in his eyes.  "But don't worry, I'm fine."

Hearing what Gui said, Fang Lang felt relieved and walked into the warehouse.

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? He loosened his hand on the shelf and tried to leave, but before taking the first step, he slipped back and knocked down the inherently weak shelf.  Fang Lang, who originally planned to grab Gui, saw the overwhelming cardboard boxes falling, and couldn't help but take a big step back, watching helplessly as Gui was buried under a pile of boxes.

    "Are youare you okay?"

    Fang Lang asked tentatively.

    "Ihave something to do"

The boxes piled on top rolled down the mountain of boxes.  Katsura's rather dull voice came from inside the box mountain.  None of the boxes seemed too heavy, so Gui quickly climbed up and pushed the boxes aside.

Thanks to these boxes, the place has become messy. Fang Lang suppressed a smile and looked at Gui sitting in the pile of boxes, with a small box on his head.

"What is packed here? It's not heavy at all."

"It looks like a doll." Fang Lang casually picked up a stuffed toy that had just rolled out of the fallen box. The shape was unexpectedly cute.  "I never thought that gods would collect this stuff."

    "It's a gift for a child or a woman."

Gui replied angrily, stood up and patted himself dusty, then walked out of the pile of boxes and went to the bright corridor to take a few more breaths of fresh air.  The air in the warehouse is really stuffy.

"It's quite cute." Fang Lang smiled and followed from behind. While closing the door, he placed the bear plush toy on Gui's head.  "This is perfect for you." (remember this website address: www.hlnovel.com
