In the next period of time, Emil would go to Leo almost whenever he had free time.  They also got together to play football together in private, but it was just one-on-one and no actual games.

Although Emil looks humble and gentleman on the surface, he is actually very confident in his own strength.  This confidence is based on his correct assessment of himself, and he knows his true level of playing.

So when he encounters outstanding players who are as good as him, his inner competitiveness will always appear from time to time.

It is expected that both sides will win or lose each other.

The person who impressed Emil the most was Leo.

He thought that after these two years of training, his strength had improved greatly.  But when he met Leo, he had to admit that sometimes the gap between people cannot be narrowed by hard work, especially when people who are more talented than you work harder than you.

It is a pleasure to watch Leo play football, because it is an art he has never seen or expected.  In front of such football, Emile will even lose his desire for victory for a moment, but will only marvel at its wonder.

As time goes by, Christmas is getting closer.

The Emile family came to Barcelona to spend Christmas together, but due to the short winter break in La Liga, Leo and Messi did not have time to return to Argentina.  In addition, their current life is not well-off, so they can only stay in Barcelona.

After Andrea learned about this, she asked Benito and Emil to go together the next day to invite Messi and his son to come over on Christmas Day.

The reason she gave is very reasonable. The two children have known each other for so many years and have a very good relationship. Moreover, there are only two people in the Messi family, so they might as well get together and have fun.

If you just ask Leo, of course Emil can do it alone, but if you add old Mr. Messi, it will be more convincing if there are adults.

Mr. Macy Sr. attaches great importance to his family. He has always kept in mind the support the Moriti family gave to their youngest son. He knows that they are all good people.  So after Benito's sincere invitation, he accepted the offer and agreed.

Waiting until Christmas day, Emil and Andrea decorated the Christmas tree together.  Place the previously ordered two-meter-high fir tree in the center of the living room, wrap small colored lights around it, and then hang various decorations on it, including Christmas socks filled with candies, origami stars in glass bottles, exquisite  Crystal pendant.

There was a knock on the door. Emil ran over and opened the door. He first said hello to old Messi, and then looked at Leo who was covering himself tightly with a hat and scarf. He said with some worry: "Leo, you are too afraid of the cold."  .¡±

Barcelona is located on the Mediterranean coast, and even in the coldest winter, the average temperature can reach 10c.  For someone like Emil who is afraid of heat, this temperature is very comfortable. He doesn't even need to wear a thick coat when going out, and he only wears a shirt at home.

The temperature in the apartment was not low. Leo took off his coat, hat and scarf, and sat on the sofa. Emil stepped forward and held his hand, which was slightly red from the cold, and warmed him up after a while.

Andrea was preparing dinner in the kitchen, while Benito and Mr. Macy were standing by the window chatting.

There were so many people in the family today, and there was a lot of food to be prepared. Emil and Leo explained it, and ran to the kitchen to help Andrea.

Andrea pushed him out and said angrily: "It's the first time for Leo to come to our house. You should accompany him quickly. It's enough for me to be here."

Unable to defeat her, Emil could only scratch his head and return to the living room.

He remembered that Leo liked sweets, so he took out the freshly baked cookies.  After walking around the Christmas tree, I looked up and saw Christine and Oliver huddled next to Leo, the three of them looking at the photo album together.

The two siblings, who have always been naughty, were unexpectedly quiet today and sat on the sofa obediently.

Emil raised his eyebrows in surprise, but he didn't expect Leo to be good at dealing with children.

He approached and put the plate full of cookies on the coffee table. Leo looked up: "Why are you back so soon?"

Oliver stood up happily and threw himself on Emil: "Brother!"

Emil hugged his brother and sat on the sofa: "Mom doesn't like me being a hindrance."

Leo laughed after hearing this, "It turns out that you will also be disliked one day." He tilted his head, "Well, seeing as how pitiful you are, I don't dislike you."

Today is a great day for Christine and Oliver. Not only do they have their brother to play with, but the little brother they meet for the first time is also very gentle to them.

We had a sumptuous meal in the eveningAfter dinner, I played for a while and then was sent back to the house by my mother.

They hung the Christmas stockings on the bedside early. Before going to bed, their mother kissed them gently on the forehead and told them that they would see the gifts from Santa Claus early tomorrow morning.

Andrea originally wanted to clean up the kitchen and living room by herself, but seeing this, Mr. Macy was also prepared to stay and help.  Emil and Leo quickly persuaded their parents to go back, "We can just clean up these things. It's not troublesome and can be done quickly. You have been tired for a day, so go back and rest first."

¡°We are not young anymore, we must do something within our ability.¡±

After hearing this, both parents stopped insisting. One of the things teenagers at this age like to do most is to say that they are adults, but don't refute them, lest they hurt their self-esteem.

Everyone else went back to the room, leaving only the two of them.

Emil turned and went into the kitchen, while Leo stayed in the living room.

He is used to doing housework at home, not to mention that Andrea does things neatly and the kitchen is not messy. It didn¡¯t take long for him to tidy everything up.

After finally wiping the kitchen table clean, he washed his hands and walked out of the kitchen.

By this time, Leo had also tidied up the living room and was sitting on the carpet, looking up at the decorated Christmas tree.

The warm yellow lights are on in the living room, and the lights on the Christmas tree are more and more conspicuous in the dim environment.

He walked over and sat next to Leo silently.

Leo suddenly said: "When I was a child, our house had a Christmas tree like this every year."

But as he became ill and the family became poor, it became difficult for them to be what they used to be.  Until now, he can't even get together with his family at Christmas.

Emil turned his head and looked at his friend beside him. This shy-looking young man was actually not weak.  However, tonight, maybe because it was a special day, Leo rarely showed such a fragile look.

He suddenly felt a little bored.

He doesn't want to see Leo sad.

He looked up at the Christmas tree and found that someone had hung a bunch of mistletoe on it.

An idea suddenly appeared in his mind.

Leo stared at the Christmas tree in a daze.  He had always known that the Moriti family were good people, and Mrs. Moritti warmly entertained him and his father.  However, watching the close relationship between Emil and his family tonight reminded him of his own family.

If their family could be together, his mother would probably look at him with such tender eyes.

With thoughts of his family welling up in his heart, Leo suddenly felt someone approaching, and then something soft touched the side of his face.

He turned his head in surprise and saw Emil retreating.  He understood what had just happened almost instantly, and his eyes fell on Emil's lips uncontrollably.

Suddenly, my face started to burn.

He quickly looked away and lowered his head. His heart was still beating violently in his chest. He hesitated and opened his mouth: "You"

Emil didn¡¯t know why he suddenly acted like this.

At that moment, he seemed to be bewitched. Under the warm yellow light, Leo's side face shone with a warm luster, like smooth porcelain.

He leaned forward and kissed him gently on the face.

When he came to his senses, his face seemed to have a fever, and even his ears and neck were covered in bright red.

He cleared his throat unnaturally, "You can't refuse a kiss under the mistletoe."

It is a custom that on Christmas Day, if two people stand under a bunch of mistletoe, they must kiss, no matter who the other person is.

Emil put his fist against his lips and coughed a few more times, "Leo, Merry Christmas."

"Well, Emil, Merry Christmas." (Remember this website address: www.hlnovel.com
