When I woke up, I was greeted by a familiar room.

The curtains in the room were all closed, making it dark.

"Are you hungry? I'll go downstairs and ask Auntie to cook something for you?"

You Yi sat on the low stool beside the bed. When he saw Jian Ran waking up, he quickly asked.

Jian Ran shook her head and sat up.

You Yi hurriedly reached out to support her and poured a glass of warm water for Jian Ran.

"Where are Ye Ze and He Chi?" His throat was very dry. After drinking this sip of warm water, he felt much better instantly.

"In the study room, I seem to have found out some terrible things."

Jian Ran looked at You Yi curiously, "What's the matter?"

You Yi shook his head, "You know, He Chi never lets me know these things."

He Chi has been carefully protecting himself from being exposed to their world, just like a fragile Cui doll, who has always been held in his arms.

She wanted to know, wanted to understand, and wanted to share some of the burden for He Chi.

    But He Chi always refused.

Seeing her disappointed look, Jian Ran reached out and took her hand and placed it on her palm.

"Listen to He Chi." Jian Ran patted the back of her hand and continued, "I'm going to the study. You go back to your room first."

    You nodded slightly.

    Study room.

Ye Ze is sitting on the office chair, holding the mouse with his knuckled fingers, clicking twice from time to time.

He Chi sat on another chair with a pile of documents in front of him.

The two people looked gloomy and cruel.

Before Jian Ran came, she went down to the first floor and asked her aunt to cook some midnight snacks and serve them.

The study door was not closed, Jian Ran walked in with a wooden plate in both hands without knocking.

"Why don't you take a little more rest?"

Seeing her carrying something, Ye Ze hurriedly walked over to pick it up and put it on the coffee table in the house.

"You Yi, she" I was about to say that You Yi told me that they had found out some terrible things, but after thinking about it, I decided not to say it, so as not to worry He Chi, "She, I'll let her rest first. I'll go to bed."  If not, just take a walk."

He Chi became serious when Jian Ran mentioned You Yi's name. After hearing the second half of the sentence, he breathed a sigh of relief and continued to pick up the file and look at it.

Jian Ran wanted to see what was on the table, but when she reached out to take it, He Chi took it away.

When he reached out for the other portion, it was still taken away by He Chi.

Jian Ran moved forward, and He Chi simply slumped down and refused to let her look.

    Jian Ran stared.

Ye Ze stretched out his hand toward He Chi, beckoning him to take it.

    He Chi shook his head.

Can you show these things to Jian Ran?  He Chi really couldn't understand what Ye Ze was thinking.

"It's okay." Ye Ze hooked his hand again, with a hint of seriousness in his starry eyes, and nodded.

He Chi sighed and handed the thing into Ye Ze's hand.

"After finding out what happened with Gong Nian and Chu Sihan, I have already abandoned you."

Ye Ze handed the documents into Jian Ran's hands. The pile of documents, which were not heavy in weight, seemed extremely heavy when they were handed over.

Jian Ran reached out to take it, looked at Ye Ze's face, and just gave a faint hum, and started to check.

In the study room, it is very quiet.

It was so quiet that you could only hear the breathing of the three of them.

Ye Ze noticed that Jian Ran's face gradually changed and her lips pursed together.

He Chi stood up knowingly and said, "I'm going back to my room to rest first."

    "Yeah." Ye Ze nodded.

Jian Ran's breathing gradually became heavier, and her hand holding the document was uncontrollably hard, leaving several marks on the edge of the document.

Ye Ze poured a glass of warm water and put it in front of the table. After thinking about it, he got up and sat on the office chair. He continued to do things without disturbing Jian Ran.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
