    ?

Walking back into the darkness again, my heart was beating wildly.  The old house is chilly, the shadows of the trees under the moonlight, the stone benches, the dry wellall seem to have life, moving silently in the dark.

"Who is it?" An old and hoarse voice came, which startled me.

I turned my head, and a white-haired old man came out from a small door, with a wrinkled face, a pair of cloudy eyes, and a ghostly look.

"Old man I'm here to find a painting." I was a little scared and replied softly.

The old man's expression froze, he stared at me for a while, then turned around and said, "Sure enough, she is a rare yin-born girl, come with me."

I didn't expect things to go so smoothly. I walked forward quickly and followed the old man's pace: "Old man, who are you? What do you mean by the yin-born girl?"

"I am the old housekeeper of the Li family, and I am guarding the old house here now, alas, what a crime"

I couldn't understand the old man's words more and more, I just wanted to get the painting that Han Yi said quickly and leave here early.

Stepping on the old and dilapidated stairs, the wooden stairs creaked.  I followed the old man carefully up to the fourth floor and stopped at the door of a room.

I couldn't help being stunned by the sight in front of me, the door of that room was densely covered with spells!  At least there must be hundreds of them, it makes my scalp tingle!

"What you want is inside, come in." With that said, the old man pushed open the door and walked in.

I also gritted my teeth and entered the room, only to see an altar in the middle of the room, with some incense candle offerings on it, and a scrolled painting in the middle, the whole body of the scroll was bright yellow, and there were symbols painted with cinnabar on it.

The old man handed the painting to me, staring at me with a pair of cloudy eyes, which made me shudder, and he said after a long while: "It is said that virgins born in the cloudy moon are the most attractive to ghosts. You should have a very negative horoscope,  Only then will they be targeted by the Li family."

I couldn't help being stunned, this old man is not simple, so I subconsciously asked him: "The Li family is married in the dark, and that female ghost please tell me everything you know!"

The old man was silent for a while, pointing his thin fingers to the ground, "Do you know how the Li family got rich?"

"Real estate speculation?" I answered casually, the Li family has a lot of real estate, and everyone in our area knows it.

He shook his head and said in a hoarse voice: "They rely on reselling the ghost artifacts. The land of Li's family was originally a cemetery. When the house was built, countless bones were dug up until a coffin from the Song Dynasty was dug up. The coffin was taken away.  After opening it, the female corpse inside rotted in an instant, but the Li family was entangled by ghosts from then on, and all the descendants of the Li family would die tragically. Even if you are a member of the Li family after a ghost marriage, your extremely yin physique will attract female ghosts to haunt you and release you.  Over the rest of the Li family"

Damn it, the Li family is really black-hearted!  He lied to me that he would let me go after the ghost marriage was completed. It turns out that as long as the ghost marriage is completed, I will be killed by the ghost!

    "Then this painting?"

"This is a picture of Zhong Kui catching ghosts, which can suppress and subdue fierce ghosts. After the Li family was entangled by fierce ghosts, they spent a lot of money to buy them from the black market. If it is useful to you, you can take it."

I clenched the painting tightly in my hand and planned to help Han Yi.

I was about to leave the Li family's old house with the scroll in hand, when the moonlight above my head suddenly disappeared.

"Clumsy, have you got the painting?" A cold and deep voice sounded in the darkness.

I turned around, and Han Yi stood behind me, the black slim-fit shirt was cut smoothly, and the dark eyes stared coldly between the pale face.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
