    ?

    "Pingyang"

Emperor Jokhang sighed, and called out to her stiff back.

"My son, I don't blame my father" She didn't look back, she didn't want to embarrass her father who had spoiled her for many years, and she didn't want him to see her eyes blurred with tears.

It was snowing heavily outside, Pingyang's mind was in chaos, and the Lingtai was not clear at all, she walked down the snow-covered stone steps.

Walking, she came to the end of the city covered with weeping willows again.

The corners of the palace walls were filled with snow that had fallen in the past few days, and no one cleaned them up.

She ran over and knelt on the ground, crying and pawing the snow on it one after another.

Those icicles pierced her fingers, and bright red blood dripped from her fingertips, dripping onto her skirt, dyeing layers of lake-colored silk.

"Why? Why did you lie to me?" Tired of pawing, she directly pressed her face into the icy snow, and all those bitter and salty tears seeped into the pile of white snow.

When Qingluan found her, she covered her mouth tightly with her hands.

None of Pingyang's ten fingers is complete, and they are covered with blood, which is very frightening.  She brought her back to Zhiyang Palace, and covered her with thick brocade quilts.

Her body was already very stiff from the cold.

After the imperial physician arrived, he treated her inside for a long time, and finally brought her back with her last breath, and it was considered that she had passed the difficulty safely.

In Zhiyang Palace, there was silence for several days.

"This prescription is to drive away the cold air in the body of Her Royal Highness"

"This prescription is for Her Royal Highness the Princess"

"These medicines are not bitter, and you must not add rock sugar to them"

In her sleep, Pingyang seemed to hear Mu Yun's voice, she opened her eyes, and Qingluan winked at her hurriedly when she saw her wake up.

She looked at Qingluan puzzled, then seemed to remember something, suddenly sat up, opened the curtain, and saw Mu Yun who was seriously ordering the maid to decoct the medicine.

"Your Highness. Your Highness was invaded by the cold air and hurt your internal organs. The situation is critical. I made you abrupt. Please forgive me." Seeing that she woke up, Mu Yun bowed and explained to her.

"Not intrusive, not intrusive" Ping Yang smiled, his brows and eyes full of smiles.

She smiled, her eyes fell on Mu Yun's belt, and the jade pendant he used to wear was replaced by a purse.

Ping Yang thought of the marriage bestowed upon him by his father, her bright eyes dimmed again, she snorted coldly, and put down the curtain in her hand.

    "You go out."

In the curtain, she gave an unhappy order.

Mu Yun was stunned for a moment, and then replied to her: "I will take my leave."

"Your Highness, Lord Taishi" After Mu Yun left, Qingluan wanted to explain to Pingyang, but was interrupted by her sharply, "I'm tired, I need to rest."

Thinking of Mu Yun marrying someone else, Ping Yang felt as if a knife had been stabbed at his heart.  Moreover, blood is still dripping drop by drop.

It's abominable, she thought to herself.

Qingluan told her that as soon as Mu Yun came back from Huizhou, she went to see her in Zhiyang Palace, and personally checked the prescriptions prepared by the imperial physician before giving her so many different prescriptions, which could make her feel better.  Get well soon.

She talked about everything, but she didn't talk about Mu Yun's marriage.  She lost her temper that day, and Qingluan didn't dare to mention it again.

Pingyang lowered his head and silently drank the decoction prepared by Mu Yun, without asking Qingluan.  She didn't want to ask, and Mu Yun was not allowed to see her again.

After she recovered from her illness, she kept herself bored in the bedroom all day long, never going out.

    "Is the princess still ill?"

Emperor Jokhang asked the servant standing beside him that he hadn't seen her for a long time, and he hadn't heard any news about her going to secretly look at Mu Yun again.

"Your Majesty, it's ready, but Her Highness the Princess has locked herself in the bedroom all day, and she doesn't want to go out." The servant bowed and replied.

Emperor Jokhang's eyebrows twitched, "Has Taishi visited?"

The servant recalled carefully, and reported back to him, "I heard that I went there once, but was kicked out by His Highness."

    "Ejected out?"

He thought he had heard wrongly.

"It was indeed thrown out." The servant bowed very low.

When Emperor Jokhang went to Zhiyang Palace in Pingyang, she was teasing a bird that paid tribute to the inner court in the bedroom, and the bird followed her when she said anything.

      "Royal father."

Seeing him walking in, Ping Yang turned his face and called him.

"Heal?" Emperor Dazhao sat down beside her, looking at her lovingly.

Ping Yang teased the bird in the cage, and replied, "My son's body has recovered."

"In your heart, aren't you feeling well?" He asked her in a low voice.

Ping Yang's hand paused, and he didn't reply to his words, just pretending that he didn't hear anything.

Emperor Jokhang leaned back, and said nonchalantly, "Mu Yun didn't marry Lin's eldest daughter, why are you depressed?"

    "what did you say?"

Now, Ping Yang looked at him instead.

"Don't you know?" Emperor Jokhang looked innocent.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Pingyang put down the dogtail grass in his hand, stood up and asked Qingluan who was standing beside him.

"Your Highness, this is what this servant wanted to tell you when you woke up that day. Who would have thought that you would not let this servant say it, so this servant never dared to say it."

    Qingluan returned cautiously.

"Yunlang" Thinking of that day when she drove Mu Yun out, Pingyang ran out of Zhiyang Palace.

"Why are you still standing there in a daze, why don't you hurry up and send a dress to the princess?" Emperor Jokhang reprimanded Qingluan who was stunned in front of him.

    "Yes, Your Majesty."

She quickly responded, took a robe and chased it out.

Ping Yang ran outside the Imperial Academy, it was past noon, and the little eunuch guarding the gate told her, "Lord Tai Shi has already gone back."

She hurriedly left from outside the Imperial Academy, and Mu Yun's carriage drove out of the palace wall.

    "Yun Lang, Yun Lang"

Mu Yun, who was flipping through the history books in the carriage, seemed to have heard Ping Yang's voice. He put down the book in his hand, lifted the curtain of the carriage, and saw Ping Yang running towards his carriage with his cumbersome dresses on his body.

Her small face was flushed red by the cold wind.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
