    (one)

There are quite a few cities I have been to.

I am from Qin, needless to say Xi'an.

Hanzhong in southern Shaanxi is where I studied, and I stayed there for four years.  As far as I can remember, there is Baocheng, where beautiful women are born, the Baohe River that often walks along its banks, the Liancheng Mountain behind the school, and the Hedongdian where you can go wandering when you have nothing to do.

Yan'an in northern Shaanxi was visited with a delegation in the summer of that year.  Pagoda Mountain and Yanhe River are blurred in my mind.  All I can remember is that I fell in love with a girl in the group, she was fat and her face was beyond description.

The three major blocks of Shaanxi, southern Shaanxi, Guanzhong, and northern Shaanxi, have all been passed.

After graduation, I went to Harbin, the ice city, where I stayed for three years.  I have never seen the ice lanterns in Harbin, but the coldness and snow there will always remain in my mind.

The Northeast can be regarded as having been there.

The next place is Xiamen, where I will stay for three years.

Three years ago, when I saw Xiamen for the first time, I fell in love with her at first sight; in the past three years, my love for her has grown day by day, and I can't let go; three years later, because I like it, because of various reasons, I chose to stay behind, thinking, maybe it will be a lifetime stay  .

I have also been to many cities, such as Beijing; Guangzhou, Zhongshan; Jinan, Yantai, Weihai and so on.  At that time, the judgment of the city was still immature, so the only thing I remembered was the place name.

Later, I went to Chongqing, Chengdu, Hefei, Baotou, and Qingdao.

After Harbin, I got older and experienced more, and began to use self-righteous "examination" eyes to inquire about life and society.

After Xiamen, I began to observe the city with a "contrastive" perspective.

It has only been two days since I left Xiamen, and it feels like a lot of time has passed.  I often see Xiamen as the first person, so it is reasonable to have this feeling of "not seeing each other in a day, like three autumns".

Yesterday, because of work, I went to Yangzhou. I stayed for a short time and was very impressed.

    Someone once said:

After loving once, you lose the ability to love again forever.

I've never been in love, so I don't know what it's like.

I stayed in Xiamen for three years and visited many places during that time.

Except for my hometown, I will compare all the places I have traveled with Xiamen.

My hometown is the parents who gave birth to me and raised me, my brothers and sisters, the flowing water surrounding me with my childhood laughter, the land where I used to work with my parents, the soul-stirring Qin opera, and the memories that I can never forget when I travel to the ends of the earth.   Therefore, the status of my hometown cannot be shaken. It is the root of my growth and the source of blood flow. Nothing can compare with it.

    (two)

Xiamen is a lover, so I will consciously or unconsciously compare her with other places.

The Chinese have a saying that is often said:

"Others' wives and their own sons."

This is the result of comparison, and it is also a portrayal of real human nature, which has absolutely nothing to do with "color or color".  The tradition of men being superior to women for thousands of years is of course a product of a patriarchal society.  In fact, in women's psychology, there is also the consciousness or tendency of "others' husbands and their own children", but people don't say that.

Although I am not good at tidying up things, I really like tidiness.

The cleanliness, freshness, beauty and beauty of Xiamen have spoiled me.

No matter what city I go to, as long as it is dirty, messy, green and dusty, even if it is powerful and rich; even if it is a provincial capital or a capital city, I will love them.

I also often laugh at myself, maybe those cities may not accept me, but in my critical eyes, they will never be able to catch the eye or enter the heart.

At this time, I remembered what someone said again. Is it true that after loving once, you really lose the ability to love again forever?  Sometimes I ask myself this question.

After going to Shenzhen, my view of the city has changed slightly.  Shenzhen is considered flat, with wide streets and wide roads, and the environment is acceptable.  So I began to believe that there are still better places than Xiamen.

Previously, I had some prejudices against Shenzhen: for example, I, a lazy person, don't like its fast pace; for example, negative rumors about its security make people unavoidably frightened.  After looking at its architecture, I also feel that there is nothing special about it.  I love Xiamen, which is lovely, although Shenzhen also touched my heart.

Once, I went to Hefei.  Some of its newer districts are passable, but the overall impression is mediocre.

Yesterday, I went to Yangzhou; today, I have some nostalgia.  Although the building in my heartThe door is still there, but the Yangzhou in front of me also makes people suddenly happy.

    (three)

Yesterday, I learned that Yangzhou, like Xiamen, is also one of the cities of the "World Habitat Award".

People may often doubt the moisture in China's self-evaluated awards.  People often believe in foreign awards with three or five points.  This is not worshiping the foreign, nor is it flattering the foreign.  It's just because their system is relatively sound, which makes many people afraid to stretch out their hands in the face of abnormal interests.  Perhaps, in essence, they may not be much more honest than the Chinese, but the sword of law is always hanging on the top, and the system is only restraining people.

Let me talk about my positioning of Xiamen and Yangzhou first. This positioning starts with the color.

The orange-red tiles on the roof of Xiamen University, I consider myself the representative color of Xiamen.  Of course, there are many other colors in Xiamen, but for me, I took the light colors led by orange and red as the colors of Xiamen.

A gentleman once said that he didn't like Xiamen University, not to mention anything else, even the color of the building made people feel impetuous.  He said that he likes Nanjing University. The simple blue tiles and blue bricks look like a place for learning.

When people are alive, they have to see the world with their own eyes and think about problems with their own minds. They cannot take other people's ideas as my own opinions without thinking about them at all.  Although that gentleman later became popular all over the country and on both sides of the Yellow River, his views did not affect me.  Nanjing may really have her simplicity and tranquility, but Xiamen is not necessarily impetuous because of its colors.

Xiamen is a vibrant Xiamen, a girl with lips waiting to be kissed.  Because she is young, the light tone led by orange red is just a color tailored for her.  This light tone, together with Xiamen's ever-blossoming and ever-new flowers all year round, together with Xiamen's evergreen vegetation all year round, is exactly where Xiamen's youthful vigor lies.

Yangzhou, I only met once.  I was deeply impressed by this side of fate.  The ancients had a saying of "overturning as before", and Yangzhou and I may be defined by this phrase.  The color of Xiamen is a light tone led by orange red, and the color of Yangzhou is a dark tone represented by tile blue; Xiamen is a young girl with cherry lips waiting to be kissed, and Yangzhou is a graceful and graceful young woman.

    (Four)

Xiamen's youthful vigor, like a young girl, uses vigor as capital, which makes me feel a little depressed for people who feel old.  In Xiamen Island, there are many people and little land. The roads in the bustling areas are narrow and the buildings are tall. Walking among them, you will suddenly feel depressed.  These are just like the savage yet cute girl who is aggressive with youthful aura.

Yangzhou is different. In a prosperous area, the buildings are no more than six or seven stories high, the roads and streets are wide, and there are few pedestrians. Just like a woman with an elegant temperament, she lacks the self-willedness of a girl and shows others with an elegant posture.

The beauty of Yangzhou lies not only in appearance, but also in temperament.  Its architectural planning is relatively uniform, with strict requirements on the height of buildings, and there are almost no small high-rise buildings or high-rise buildings; the exterior design of the building is either the Huizhou style of residential buildings, or a combination of Western and Chinese ancient buildings, a bit like the ancient city of Xi'an.  The architectural style of Xi'an Palace, but lacks the family and noble lineage of the Xi'an Imperial Palace.  If women are compared, Xi'an is a graceful and luxurious palace beauty, while Yangzhou is a housewife of a scholar's family in the south of the Yangtze River.

I once said: I hope to have my study in a certain garden in the south of the Yangtze River, where I can read every night and enjoy the fragrance of red sleeves.

It seems impossible to study in Jiangnan. For me, reading is also a very distant dream.  The red sleeve who accompanied me in my dream has never appeared so far.  The fireworks in the world are the faces that have been washed away from makeup.  All of this is just to let the gorgeous dreams embellish the real life.

If Xiamen is really a lover, then Yangzhou can really play the red sleeves that add fragrance.

    (five)

After loving, the ability to love again will not disappear, it just depends on whether you can meet someone better and more desirable.

I still love Xiamen deeply, and I am also moved by Yangzhou.  Be tempted to be tempted, but it doesn't necessarily happen.  I will go back to Xiamen, continue my life, and continue to appreciate Xiamen.

Maybe, I will live in Xiamen all my life; maybe, I will wander to other cities.  I think, no matter where I go, my love for Xiamen will not change.

If I stay in Xiamen forever, I think, occasionally I will think of Yangzhou and the autumn of Yangzhou: the low buildings are well arranged;  into one

The love of the city, simple

    postscript

I have been in Zhenjiang for a while, although I miss Xiamen very much, but I don¡¯t feel homesick.  A wanderer like me, no matter what city he is in, is just a passerby.

There are mountains and water everywhere, why is it that only the mountains and rivers in the hometown make many people feel deeply?  To put it bluntly, it is not a word for "love"; after all, the word love is not a person.  Nostalgia, homesickness, is actually just nostalgia for people.

Xiamen, without a home, is still wandering for me; no matter how much I love, it is just wishful thinking for me.

Don't stay in front of your eyes, you will see the sky wherever you go; if you don't stick to your homeland, there will be shores wherever you go.
