    ?

Busy, really busy.  Pei Jing walked between the wards wearing an isolation suit, and didn't even dare to drink more water.  She was afraid of wasting time going to the toilet, and even more afraid of wasting protective clothing.

When it was time for meals, the doctors and nurses ate in the unified canteen.  After eating, put on the protective clothing again, and everything is in order.

?Pei Jing's intensive care unit has the heaviest task. She has been busy for several days, and she is so tired that she doesn't know what year it is.  When it was time to change shifts at night, she even forgot about being hungry.

After walking wearily, she entered the lobby of the hotel, and Pei Jing caught a glimpse of an old lady with gray hair sitting alone in the corner.

It seems that the old man is seventy or eighty years old, so why is he here alone?

Pei Jing couldn't help but looked around, but she didn't see anyone else.  The hotel has now been uniformly assigned to the medical staff of the medical team, and the old lady probably doesn't live here either.

"Auntie, it's cold today, you'll catch a cold easily if you sleep here, go home quickly." Pei Jing lowered her body and reminded her softly.

The old lady was originally holding a half-inch long embroidery needle, and when she vaguely heard someone talking, she opened her jerky eyelids.

She tugged at the mask that had slipped off, and said in a low voice: "I've only embroidered a few stitches, and I feel a little sleepy. I thought about closing my eyes a little, and resting my mind for a while before embroidering. How would I know, I'm so confused  fell asleep."

"How did you come here? Did you go the wrong way?" Pei Jing asked with a smile.

"Hey, your little girl looks so pretty when she smiles, her eyes are like crescent moons." The old lady raised her eyebrows and said happily, "I didn't go the wrong way, but I came here specially. I heard that Shencheng came to help  The medical team lives here."

"My surname is Liu, and I was originally from Shencheng. Later, I met my husband and came to Jiangcheng to settle down with me. This time, I heard that someone from Shencheng came, so I thought, I must rush over to have a look.  That's good."

"Oh, so that's the case. I thank you for your concern on behalf of our medical team. But the lobby is blowing cold, you should go back and rest quickly. It's getting late. Or, let me ask the front desk for you  , try to find a car to take you back?" Pei Jing said, looking around at the front desk.

When the old lady heard this, she shook her hands anxiously: "No, I just came here to embroider insoles, and I want to give them to you. How can I go back halfway?"

As the old lady said, she put her insoles in front of Pei Jing and dangled them like offering treasures: "Actually, I haven't embroidered insoles for several years. After my husband passed away, the children in my family have grown up. Why do I need to embroider them?"  These things. Now that the epidemic situation in Jiangcheng is so severe, I thought, even though I am old, I still have to make some contribution to the society."

"I rummaged through the box and chest, no, I found a few pieces of material, just thinking about embroidering a few pairs of insoles for you to wear. You young girls may be talking about foreign styles, and you may not like this style. I just want to do my best.  .¡±

Pei Jing flipped through the insole and said in surprise: "Aunt Liu, it's a pity to use such a good material as an insole. Why don't you take it back and keep it for yourself."

The old lady "giggled" and laughed: "You are quite smart, this is the material left by my grandmother back then, it is a British brand, so old. But I am already old, and I can wear any good things.  It¡¯s a waste, then it¡¯s better to embroider an insole for you.¡± (Remember the website website: www.hlnovel.com
