    ?

As soon as I entered the house, the first thing I did was to go to the room to see my mother.  She slept soundly.  I don't know if I'm dreaming, a slight smile appeared on the corner of my mouth.

Mom is happy now, happier than ever.  Only by living detached from this complex society can there be happiness.  I was relieved to go back to my room and sleep.

I dreamed of Lin Manjing again, dreaming that we were sitting in an empty classroom at sunset, doing homework together.  She was always distracted and interrupted my train of thought.  The setting sun set off her smiling face so beautifully that I dare not stare at her.  His father and mother suddenly appeared at the door of the classroom, and they asked me what I was doing?  We hugged and wept sadly

"No, Dad, Mom" I woke up in a dream, sweating profusely. Could it be that the nightmare haunted him and me for the rest of my life?

It was dawn, and when I heard voices outside the house, I got up in my clothes.  Mom lay on the window sill outside, looking at the bustling crowd outside.  I smiled and shook my head.  Lou Tingyu seems to have really returned to her childhood, she may be lonely at home alone.

I'm going to call in sick today and take her to the park.  The obvious palm prints on my face are not suitable for staying in school.  When I went out to buy breakfast, I called Wei Ling, but no one answered, so I sent a text message asking her to open today's sick leave form.

"Mom, eat your breakfast quickly. May I take you to the park?" I called back to my mother, who was going to the windowsill again, and told her to finish the breakfast and milk on the table.  These breakfasts were what our family of three had hoped for in the past. Since my mother and I were the only ones left at home, in order to let her live a good life, I didn¡¯t think so much, and all the money I earned was used to take care of her daily necessities  superior.  My mother has suffered too much, and it is my duty to take care of her.

"Really?" Mother's old face showed child-like excitement.  I smiled and nodded, and she immediately sat down and ate happily.

"Slow down, don't swallow." I wiped the residue from the corners of her mouth with a towel.  How much I miss my father, if he is here I can't imagine how good life I can give them, but I hope I can also buy a bunch of delicious food, and then let my parents eat happily with me.  It's a pity that the tree wants to be quiet but the wind doesn't stop, and the child wants to support but the relative is not there.

My phone rang, and it was Wei Ling calling, "I'm at your door, where are you?"

I knew asking her to file a sick note would cause some trouble, so I gave our locations and hung up.

"Mom! Mom!" I called to the mother who was playing with the child on the other side of the grass.  She smiled brightly and ignored me at all.  I ran over helplessly, grabbed her and said, "Let's go home."

"No, I still want to play eagle and chicken!" Mom wanted to shake off my hand.

"Mom, Xiaoling is waiting for you at home. She is here to play with you!" I coaxed her.

"Really? Well, go home and play with Xiaoling." Mom heard that Wei Ling was willing to leave with me, and she did leave a deep imprint on her heart.  Before leaving, she knelt down and greeted a group of children, saying that she would come to play again next time.

"What happened to your face? Who hit you?" Wei Ling asked immediately when she saw me.  In order not to cause my mother to panic, I winked at her desperately and said, "Let's talk in the house."

Mother jumped up and affectionately took Wei Ling into the room by her arm.  She didn't say anything, and turned to look at me affectionately.  I know that I will still face interrogation later.

"What happened to your face? Who hit it?" Wei Ling asked me while playing checkers with her mother, her tone was much calmer, as if she was talking about the weather.  She was afraid of frightening her mother.

I looked at my mother who was concentrating on playing chess, and said with some relief: "It's a little unpleasant with the guests." The fingerprints on the face are impossible to lie because they were touched and fell, I said lightly.

"Are there any other injuries?" Wei Ling worriedly looked me up and down, as if about to have an on-site X-ray.  It made me uncomfortable.

    "No, accidental injury."

"Accident? Beating so hard?" She obviously didn't believe me, "I said, that kind of place is not suitable for you as a college student. I think you should not go."

"My mother and I want to live on." I said firmly, staring into her eyes.

"I'll lend you the money first, and then return it to me after you finish studying." She repeated the old story.

"I don't need it, don't make it difficult for me." I was a little excited, and her proposal made me very embarrassed.  Mother was so frightened that she dropped the chess piece on the ground.

"Mom, if the chess piece is dropped, you will lose!" I smiled and squatted on the ground to help her retrieve the chess piece.  She saw my warm smile and felt relieved.

"I don't want you to have any trouble, you should know." Wei Ling wanted to cry.

I sat down next to her, put my arms around her shoulders, and whispered in her ear, "Please. Let's go out and talk later, shall we?"

This is the first time I feel helplessLing made such an intimate gesture.

In the final negotiation, Wei Ling still couldn't hold back my persistence.

I promised her that she would work carefully in the future and leave the bar as soon as she graduated from college and find a legitimate job.  A woman is the shrewdest businessman, and she always puts forward her own terms of exchange to gain benefits at the right time.  She took the keys to my house.  She said that because I can't even take care of myself, how can I take care of my mother, she has to check the situation at any time.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
