    ?

I dreamed that the stars of joy filled the night sky.  Beneath the starlight was the broad figure of a man¡ªthat was my father.

In fact, I didn't see him clearly, and he doesn't look very much like my father. First of all, my father's shoulders are not so broad, and his figure is not so burly.

But I am no stranger to this figure.

I first saw the willow branches being blown to and fro by the wind, just like the beautiful night in some movies, the willow branches swayed gently, the wind blew gently, everything was light, like shadows, and the light, right there  among all kinds of shadows.

When the wind blows away the clusters of willow branches, the back of a person appears. He is wearing hard and scratchy overalls, and the flash of the river water illuminates his dark skin.

I looked more carefully and found that this man was really my father!  It's just that he's taller, with darker skin and high cheekbones.

I think, that¡¯s it, everything in the dream will be magnified, such as Dad, he was originally a thin person, but in the dream, he is as strong as a coal miner in Shanxi.

    He is sighing.

I am so close to him, but he can't see me, as if we have become people in two worlds.  I was in a dream, but he was in reality.  I peeked at him from my dream and walked towards him, but he was always in reality, in a real night, by the river, thinking about things.  He is thinking about me.  When he thinks of me, he must feel sad - losing me, dad will only feel sad, there is nothing in his life that can make him happy, he is such a dad.

Dad kept looking at the river, at the flickering lights on the river.

There seem to be countless elves in the river, they emit a small light on the water surface, they are jumping happily, playing with the shadows on the water surface.  They must have been teasing my dad too, but dad was too sad to be happy, and he didn't seem to see the elves playing and teasing.

Dad held something in his hand, and when he moved his hand, the little metal thing shone like the elves on the water.  I looked carefully, and it turned out that it was my school badge, maybe my father picked it up on the river bank.

    I said: "Dad!"

He can neither hear nor see me.

I stretched out my hand to touch him, but the wind blew over, and the willow branches lifted up, pretending to dance, but actually blocking my arm.

    "Dad, I'm here!"

    I said.

I didn't say it, but I didn't know, anyway, I didn't hear my own voice.  I probably said it in my heart.  So, he couldn't hear.  How nice it would be if he could hear what was in my heart as I could hear myself!

He sighed first, then wept, and said, "Son, where are you?"

Immediately I couldn't help crying and wanted to fly to him.

I want to push aside those moving willow branches, borrow the wind, and glide to my father.

As soon as I tried hard, I fell from the sky and woke up with fright.

It should be in the middle of the night.  There were shadows in the shed, and the children were fast asleep. They really looked like giant mice, sleeping darkly and quietly in the dark.  I think that when I was asleep, I was the same as them. I was a poor mouse who could only sleep on the ashes. In a place far away from humans, in a place without lights, leaves and food, there was no way to escape unless someone opened the door.  Go out, have any wishes, you can only find them in your dreams, and you are also a free child in your dreams.

When I think of this, I feel very sad.

Am I really about to become a mouse with a human face and human ears?  Do I have to eat rotten steamed buns, sleep in an unlit hut, and become a thief with a group of dirty children, a thief like a mouse?

It's really scary, like dreaming that I was locked in a cave.

I looked towards Jacques' position.  Of the group of children, he was the biggest and the smartest.  Unlike all children, he doesn't complain about this kind of life at all. He is so calm that he seems to be able to bear it, and even enjoy it.  Could it be that a child who is older can not be in a hurry and be irresponsible to himself?

    "Jacques!"

I whispered, trying to wake him up.  I have to ask.

    "Um¡¡"

    "Jacques!" I called again.

I thought Jacques was awake, but he rolled and fell asleep again, making noises.

Jacques made a strange purring sound, very thin.possible.  "

"It would be great if I could go back to school!"

"Even if we can go back, will the school want us again? I don't think so. This means that there is no road on the ground, and when there are too many people walking, the road will be stepped on. You can still say: No, I didn't step on this road.  out. Can you say that?"

"Oh, what Jacques said is a famous saying in the world."

"Don't flatter, those are the words of our grandfather Lu Xun."

"Is Grandpa Lu Xun considered a celebrity in the world?"

    "Of course forget it."

    "That's it!"

I continued to discuss with Jacques: "But, everyone knows that we are forced."

"Also, Ultraman may feel that we are free to come and go, and can escape at any time."

    "Yes, I think so."

"Actually, that's not the case. They are not alone, they are a group. You don't know where you will be caught if you run out. If you are caught, you will kill the chicken and show it to the monkey. This, we all know  .¡±

Jacques' words made everyone uncomfortable, and there was no hope at all.

Ah Huang touched my schoolbag: "Altman, your grades must be great, right?"

"Of course, I've been a learning activist every year since the first grade!"

Jacques was thinking: "Altman, you are new here, you have never stolen anything, you should go to the police."
