    ?

The two fell into a stalemate again. Xue Haoran hid in the kitchen to cook, while Yi Sisi stayed in the bedroom staring at a whole stack of reference materials.

The dinner was unusually silent. Yi Sisi picked up a piece of food with chopsticks and put it in her mouth. It was inexplicably bitter, and she swallowed it forcefully, thinking that her emotions must have affected her sense of taste.  After taking another bite, something was still wrong, so I had to use a spoon to fill myself with soup.

Yi Sisi frowned, looking at Xue Haoran with a strange expression.  Xue Haoran obviously also noticed that today's meal was inappropriate, so he quickly put down his bowl and chopsticks, snatched the bowl from Yi Sisi's hand, and was forced to say helplessly: "Let's go out to eat."

Yi Sisi burst out laughing, and let out a long and soft cry: "Old Xue"

Xue Haoran smiled helplessly, held Yi Sisi's hand, and looked at her tenderly: "Sisi, it would be great if you never grow up."

In the end Xue Haoran made a compromise and promised to fully support Yi Sisi's application for studying abroad.  The condition is that if he fails, Yi Sisi must stay by his side honestly and let him support her.

Yi Sisi also had a long heart-to-heart talk with her parents, who didn't understand her at first, but finally agreed to her request.

?The days of exam application are hard, and there are no classes in senior year. If Xue Haoran is in Beijing, Yi Sisi will study at home. If Xue Haoran is on a business trip, Yi Sisi will return to school.

Returning home one day, Xue Haoran hid a red book in a drawer with a strange expression.  Yi Sisi jumped to his side and slammed open the drawer. Inside was a copy of "College English Vocabulary Level 4".

Yi Sisi raised the book, looked at Xue Haoran maliciously and said, "Old Xue, what's going on?"

Xue Haoran actually blushed a little shyly.  He snatched the vocabulary book and gave Yi Sisi a feigned anger look.

"Are you only allowed to learn English, but I am not allowed to learn English?"

Xue Haoran sighed, and continued: "Well, few of us who study music like English, and they have mixed up in the fourth grade of college."

"Old Xue, do you want to visit me in America?"

    Xue Haoran shook his head.

"You've been going for so long, how can I rest assured? It just so happens that I also want to study for a degree in composition. I originally planned to study as a part-time graduate student. Later, I checked the information and found that the composition major abroad is quite complete."

Yi Sisi wrapped herself around Xue Haoran's waist excitedly, and breathed hot air on his back.

"Old Xue, you are so kind! Let me help you check the admission requirements."

"Don't worry, don't worry. I'm busy with work now, and I can only learn English slowly. After all, the foundation is too weak. If there is no accident, after you are admitted next year, I will apply for the next year and meet you. Sigh,  Who told me to find such a powerful wife, a future female doctor!"

Xue Haoran's tone was filled with sadness and helplessness.

What else could Yi Sisi say, but she hugged him tightly, as if she wanted to put him in her pocket and take him away.

"Old Xue, I will teach you."

In the days that followed, Yi Sisi was surprised to find that Xue Haoran's English level was so good that people couldn't look directly at it. For a rookie who could only say "fine, thank you, and you?"  "Level 4 Vocabulary" was changed to "High School Vocabulary", which hurt Xue Haoran very much.

The only thing to be thankful for is that Xue Haoran learned spoken English very quickly.  Firstly, primary and secondary education in Beijing attaches great importance to English, and the English teachers have a good accent; secondly, Xue Haoran has been immersed in music all year round, and is extremely sensitive to vocalization and intonation, so he is very good at imitating spoken language.

After a few months, Xue Haoran has learned simple daily communication. If he does not speak difficult words or sentences, his accent can be confused with the real one, which makes Yi Sisi very envious.

Yi Sisi's Aunt Chicken's grades came out, not ideal, but it is enough to apply for second-tier universities in the United States.  Yi Sisi had no intention of applying to first-class universities, because she was in a hurry to prepare, and the application deadlines for first-class universities were earlier.

Yi Sisi was busy writing application documents and emailing with colleges and universities, and it took a long time before she noticed Xue Haoran's recent strange behavior.

Recently, Xue Haoran came home very late every day, and he didn't like to talk when he got home. He often lay down and rested after taking a shower.  Yi Sisi was a little paranoid, afraid that he would have "someone" outside, but Xue Haoran hugged her more and more tightly at night, wishing to embed her in his bones, Yi Sisi dismissed that ridiculous idea, only thinking that he was going abroad because of him  Losing his temper.

When the two talked, Xue Haoran changed his usual warm and clear tone, and often shouted: "I can't hear you when you speak loudly."

Yi Sisi thought that Xue Haoran was playing tricks on purpose, and wanted to accommodate him, so she spoke in a low voice, but then she couldn't stand it anymore, so she also shouted at the top of her voice, and the apartment was full of strong smell.

One day, Xue Haoran seemed to have drank again, and when he returned home, he sat on the sofa with a face as heavy as iron.

Yi Sisi was startled, quickly poured him a glass of honey water, and handed it to him.

Xue Haoran pushed the honey water away, looked at her with extremely serious eyes, and then made a few gestures with sign language.

    "let's break up!"

Yi Sisi let go of her hand in an instant, and the glass shattered on the floor, making a few crisp sounds.

"What do you mean, say it again."

Yi Sisi yelled at Xue Haoran.

Xue Haoran shook his head numbly, and made the same sign language gesture again.

    "let's break up!"

Like a pot that exploded, Yi Sisi grabbed Xue Haoran's arm and shook his body vigorously.

"Why, why? Give me a reason! Have you fallen in love with someone else?"

Xue Haoran pushed her away feebly, with pain in his eyes.

He made a few gestures in sign language again.

"Sisi, I'm useless. I can't hear. I have no future with me. Leave me now."

Yi Sisi was stunned, looked Xue Haoran up and down carefully, and suddenly laughed.

Yi Sisi couldn't hide her smile, she didn't speak, and gestured with sign language.

"Old Xue, when was the last time you picked out your ears?"

Xue Haoran looked at her in bewilderment, puzzled by her behavior.  Fu looked away a little disappointed.

    "Can not remember."

Yi Sisi laughed louder, but Xue Haoran could see it, but not hear it.

"Idiot! You are the second dirty idiot I know!" Yi Sisi gestured again in sign language, then ran back to the room and took out a box of nursing tools.

Xue Haoran became more and more confused, his eyes followed Yi Sisi's brisk steps.

Yi Sisi avoided the shards of glass on the ground, sat back on the sofa, then hooked Xue Haoran with her little hand, and pointed to her thigh.

Xue Haoran shook his head again, and Yi Sisi grabbed his ears like iron, and stuck out his tongue at him again.  Using sign language again, he said:

"Little dirty boy, you are probably not deaf, but your ears are blocked by earwax."

Before Xue Haoran could shake his head, Yi Sisi had already slapped his head between his thighs.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
