    ?

The holiday has not yet passed, and the persistent dull weather finally ushered in a turning point today.

"Boom~" The thunder exploded, and the boredom at noon has not disappeared. In the sky, the clouds are rolling, and the light is flickering.

I walked on the ground barefoot, and the damp dew began to gather, and the ground was wet and greasy, which was very uncomfortable.  This is a sign of the coming rainstorm.

Swallows fly low, the ground is full of dust, and the clothes to dry are also whirring. Everything indicates a sudden change in the weather.

"Ren Tao, come and help me put away my clothes, it's going to rain soon." Grandma exclaimed.

I stepped on the wet and slippery ground and pulled the clothes sticking to my body. It was really uncomfortable to feel sweaty, so I ran to the place where the clothes were dried in three steps at a time.

"Grandma, I'll collect it, and you take the hanger." I signaled grandma to stand back. If I collect the clothes, the action will be faster, and the probability of the clothes getting wet by the rain will be reduced as much as possible.

The clothes line was half my head higher than me. I stretched out my hands and stood on my toes to remove the clothes hangers hanging from it.

Grab the clothesline with one hand, lower the line, and take the clothes hanger with the other.

After drying the clothes for most of the day, most of the water has been removed, but they are still very heavy.

"Grandma, the clothes are still wet, so heavy!" I handed the coat I just received to grandma.

"That's right, there is no sun, and it can't be dried. It can only be collected and hung on the top of the thatched hut, and then blown for two days."

Several coats were taken by grandma with clothes hooks to the rope on the other side of the grass house to continue drying.  After the dry clothes are taken off the hangers, they are stacked together and carried into the house.

"Ren Tao, you put away the pea seedlings first, and I'll take the clothes in." Grandma hurried away with the clothes in her arms.

Dark clouds billowed, the sky became darker, and in the distance flickered, it was the figure of lightning!

Hudou seedlings were placed all over the ground, half-dried in the sun.

Hu bean seedlings are only taken from the height of the head more than 20 centimeters, tied into handfuls, dried in the hot sun to remove excess water, made into dry products, and fed to pigs.  Not only good for storage, but also light and easy to process.

? Put all the bean seedlings all over the ground in one place for easy transportation.

Every time the pea seedlings are removed, there is a pool of wet water stains underneath, which is a manifestation of groundwater resurgence, and this phenomenon will only appear before the heavy rain.

    "Boom~"

    "Pika~"

Lightning and thunder came one after another, urging me to move quickly.

"Hurry up! It's going to rain soon!" Grandpa's voice came from the door, eager and loud.

The distance of five or six meters and the figures who kept going back and forth added a lot of vitality to this dreary weather.

Dozens of Hudou seedlings were transported to the empty room where the hay was piled in less than five minutes.

"Grandpa, it's over." I stopped and took a breath.

Grandpa clapped his palms, and there was some green juice on the dark palms, which was the bean sprouts that were inadvertently crushed and stuck to it.  After wiping the clothes casually, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Okay, take a rest, and I'll go out when Ha helps you cook for grandma." Grandpa was always so eager, and ran outside again before the rainstorm came.

The oppressive atmosphere is more intense, the oxygen in the air is much thinner, and the emerald green persimmon leaves are waving in the wind, as if expecting the rain to come sooner.

"Tick tock~" On the roof, the rainwater hit the small blue tiles to make a crisp sound, ready to welcome the arrival of the little friend.

"Tick tock~tick tock~", the raindrops landed in the courtyard dam in twos and threes. The ground made of cement has good water absorption. As soon as the raindrops landed, they were absorbed instantly, leaving only a faint image, reminding people that it has come.

The first wave of raindrops came in a hurry, just like the lightning in the sky, before you understand it, it has disappeared in your eyes.

The rain stopped, the wind was calm; outside the house, except for the overwhelming black clouds, everything was calm.

"Grandma, the rain has stopped." I said excitedly.

"The heavy rain is coming, come and light the fire, let's make dinner early." Grandma has already started chopping vegetables.

After the fire was lit, the warm feeling made me temporarily forget the horror of the rainstorm.

    "Boom~"

    "Hoo hoo ~"

The strong wind suddenly blew the kitchen door open, bringing cold air into the kitchen.

The already wet and sticky body is blown by the cold wind, and the sweat on the surface of the skin tends to dry up and evaporate. It seems a little comfortable?

The raging fire burning in the stove was blown by the wind, making a whistling roar, and it felt like it was about to go out if you didn't pay attention.son.

I hurried to close the kitchen door and put in the latch to prevent the door from being blown open again.

After closing the door and turning on the light, the dark kitchen was slightly brightened, and the dry eyes were finally relieved a little.

    "Open the door~"

Grandpa's shout came from outside the door.

I hurriedly stood up, opened the door, and closed the door quickly after grandpa came in to prevent the strong wind from overflowing.

    "Boom~"

Not long after Grandpa sat down, the thunder and lightning outside the house suddenly intensified, and the second round of rain finally came!

The heavy rain, accompanied by strong wind, makes this season of spring and summer look very wild.

The sound of dripping raindrops on the tiles did not stop at all, and the bottom of the closed kitchen door was already wet from the splashing rain outside the house, dripping on the ground, converging, and gradually a small amount of water flowed into the house to irrigate.

After working for a day, grandparents sat quietly in the chairs and began to eat, taking advantage of the rare cooling, enjoying the fruits of labor comfortably.

"Tick tock ~ tick tock!" Among the various sounds, two special sounds came into my ears.

I put down the bowl and chopsticks and looked for the sound, but the ticking sound continued intermittently, and the interval was getting closer and closer, which seemed to be developing in a bad direction.

And the current route is getting closer and closer to my bedroom, and my mood suddenly becomes worse.

Sure enough!  As soon as I stepped into the bedroom, I saw a small puddle of water stains on the ground.

Looking up at the roof, I found that there was a darker area in the ceiling made of oilcloth, where a puddle of water the size of a fist had gathered, slowly seeping out and dripping to the ground.

"Master, I'm leaking rain!" I shouted.

"Where?" Grandpa put down his glass and rushed over.

"Tick tock~" Just in time, there were raindrops falling on the oilcloth, which also saved me words of explanation.

Grandpa looked up for a while, as if he had no idea where the raindrops were leaking from.

"The tarpaulin covers the roof, and you can't see where the leaks are through the tarpaulin. I have to take off the tarpaulin when the weather is fine, to see where the rain is leaking, and pick up the leaking tiles." Grandpa said,  Turn around and leave.

My mood fell directly to the bottom, could it be possible that I stayed up until the rain stopped?  There are more and more raindrops on the ground, won't it flood my bed too?

While thinking wildly, grandpa turned back upside down again, and put the basin in his hand on the place where the water dripped, so that the rain would not splash out.

"You take a broom and sweep the ground, and catch it with a basin first." Grandpa said.

    I had to follow suit.

"Dididididi~" The sound of rain water hitting the basin is clear and rhythmic, which is much better than falling directly on the ground, but the sound is so loud, how can I sleep at night?  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
