    ?

My aunt's daughter is 2 years younger than me, and her name is Lei Dan.  As long as I can remember, my aunt and uncle have been doing business outside, so my sister stayed at my house.  It is precisely because of this that I have added more good memories.

There is no school on weekends, and the weather is very hot. Our house does not have electric fans at this time, and we rely on fans and cold water from the river to cool down.  Grandpa and the father who came back to help with the busy farming went out to do things in the field together after eating. Grandma and mother washed the dishes and fed the chickens and ducks, and then they were ready to go out.

My sister and I were very hot and bored. After playing in the mud for a while, I ran to the place where my family cut the millet.  Just a few hundred meters.  When my mother saw me running into the field, she asked loudly, "Ren Tao, you have to watch out for Lei Dan, don't run around." I nodded and agreed, thought for a while, and then said, "Mom, Lei Dan said that she  I want to eat watermelon."

With a smile in my mother's eyes, she thought to herself: "Little kid, I don't know who wants to eat watermelon!" After leading me home, she gave me 10 yuan and said, "Take Lei Dan to  Let¡¯s buy some snacks from the consignment store and eat first, and when we finish cutting the millet, we¡¯ll go buy watermelon for you.¡±

Looking at the 10 yuan that was rolled up and put in my hand, I happily took my sister and went out.  I am half a head taller than my sister, and I walk a little faster. I noticed that it was difficult for her to keep up with me, so I slowed down my pace a little, and walked on the same level as her.

After going out, I walked along the main road in front of the house for a short time, and just turned around the corner of the wall of the next door. My sister said that she was tired and didn't want to leave, and she didn't want to eat spicy strips.  I quietly took out 10 yuan and showed her, "My mother gave me 10 yuan, let's go buy watermelons, shall we?"

The younger sister's eyes are very big, and they are very beautiful.  As soon as I said I wanted to buy watermelon for her to eat, her eyes became brighter again, as if they could glow.

Stepping on a brisk pace, I walked to the place where the watermelon was sold 2 kilometers away.  After walking to the consignment store of "Ermazi", I still took my sister to the small window. After a fierce ideological struggle, I bought a 50 cents snack and held it in my hand.  Eating while walking, because it is so far away after all, and we are still children, so we must have snacks, right?

After coming out of the consignment store, we walked through the lower reaches of the small river, then walked through a forest with an unknown name, and walked to the "sunba" where the millet is dried, and we were only one mile away from the place where the watermelons were sold.

The sun was very strong. Fortunately, I was smart at the time, bought some snacks, and ate while walking, completely ignoring the problem of hot weather.  Along the main road, my sister and I walked slowly, talking and laughing, and we arrived at the three-fork intersection in a blink of an eye.  One side of this three-fork intersection leads to our destination today - "Chongniang Temple".  There are vendors selling vegetables and fruits, as well as restaurants and consignment stores.

The other side of the three-fork road leads to my grandma's house, which is only about 2 miles away from my house. Even a child as old as me thinks it's not far away.  If you want to ask me where the other third road at the three-fork intersection leads to, I can only tell you helplessly that I don't know.

Snacks were wiped out by our brother and sister not long after we passed the three-fork intersection.  There is no way, when it is hot, I find a small ditch, wash my face, and when I am tired, I sit on the side of the road and rest for a few minutes.  My sister is young, and her physical strength is not as strong as mine. After walking so far, her little face is flushed with exhaustion, and the clothes on her back are also wet.

Finally, I came to the intersection of "Chongniang Temple". After looking around carefully, I took my sister's little hand and rushed to the watermelon stand across the road.  I pretended to be passing by, glanced at it, found the watermelon 2 cents brand, and calmly pulled my sister around. After some childish bargaining, I bought a 12-jin large watermelon for 2 yuan.  Watermelon at this time is really cheap, only 2 cents a catty.

I arrogantly took my sister and ran to the opposite side of the road, and the two of them happily rushed home with bags in each hand.  I didn't realize that such a heavy watermelon was not something that the two of us could take back.

Every time we walk more than 10 meters, my sister and I have to take a break, because this watermelon is indeed a bit heavier than expected.  After a lot of fighting, we moved to the three-way intersection. When we got here, my sister really couldn't hold it anymore. The little hands were the same as mine, and they were all red from being strangled.  No way, I persuaded my sister, picked up the watermelon, and walked slowly home.

Seeing that my clothes were also wet with sweat, and the journey was still nearly halfway, I had no choice but to promise my sister that I would buy her ice cream when I passed by the consignment store later.  The younger sister happily and reluctantly carried the other end of the watermelon bag and continued walking.

When passing by the Ermazi consignment store, I did not disappoint my sister. Not only did I buy her ice cream, but also spicy sticks, which cost another 50 cents.

When my sister and I dragged the watermelon home, the whole family looked at us strangely.  After some questioning, I learned that we went to Chongniang Temple to buy watermelons, and our parents and grandparents dared not believe it.?.  The two little kids ran so far to buy the watermelon. The key point is that the watermelon is almost as big as my sister.

I gave the rest of the money to my mother, and reported to her today's account: "Watermelon is 12 catties, 2 cents a catty, a total of 2 yuan 4, but I negotiated the price and gave 2 yuan. When I went, my sister  To eat snacks, I bought 50 cents. When I came back, my sister wanted to eat ice cream, so I bought another 50 cents. I spent a total of 3 yuan, and there was 7 yuan left.¡±  I saw the light in my mother's eyes again.

This should be the first major event I have ever done in my life!  Looking back many years later, I feel incredible, but I don¡¯t know where the courage came from at that time.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
