Before writing this book, I thought about it for a long time, whether to write it in Mandarin or in the form of a local accent, and finally decided to try my best to restore the real situation of life.

Time went back to the winter twenty-nine years ago. On January 31, 1990, the night of the fifth day of the first lunar month, I came to this beautiful world.  From now on, a pair of small footprints have been added to the land of the motherland.

Ren Jianian is named after the surname and the stone mill in the village.  Located at the junction of Jinjiang, Liaojia, and Taiping townships, an unnamed small river flows around the village. The river water is crystal clear. If you observe carefully, you can see small crabs and small fish.

The village is surrounded by fields, and the fields are separated by ridges, which are well arranged.  When rice is planted in the fields in spring and summer, beans are mostly planted on the ridges of the fields. When rape and wheat are planted in the fields in autumn and winter, beans and peas are planted on the ridges instead.  There are no mountains in my hometown, so the vision is very wide, especially green and golden. These adjectives are very appropriate and deeply touching.

Most houses in the village are walled with red bricks, and very few people use hollow bricks.  The beams are mostly made of metasequoia and cypress. Because every family has metasequoia trees, most of the rafters are made of metasequoia. The roof is covered with small blue tiles, and the walls are painted with white. To save costs, lime can be mixed with water.  Instead, it is euphemistically called antisepsis. This is the home in my eyes from memory.

There are three main rooms in my house, and three side rooms on the left and right. The orientation of the house is west to east. The main room on the far right is the parents¡¯ room, the main room is in the middle, and the grandparents¡¯ room is on the far left.  The room next to the grandparents is the first side room, which is the kitchen of my house. The kitchen has a back door. After opening, you can see the back door of "Master Yao"'s house (Master Yao is not related by blood).  There used to be two side rooms to the kitchen, the first was the main room, and the second was my great-grandmother's room, which I lived in after her death.

On the right side of the parents' room, there are 3 side rooms. The first side room is used to store sundries, the middle room is usually used to cut pigweed, and the farthest room is built into two pigpens for  raise pigs.

Behind the three side rooms on the kitchen side, there is a width of about 2 meters. As a chicken pen, there are a few chickens and ducks. As long as I can remember, there are 2 orange trees of unknown species.  Tree, we call it "red tangerine", great-grandmother likes to eat this most.

The yard in front of the main house is about the size of a basketball court. It is paved with low-grade concrete made of stones and a small amount of cement. There are two persimmon trees planted in the yard near the side house on the right. The distance between the two trees is about  "One zhang away", this is the measurement method of grandpa.  Every year when the persimmons are ripe, the neighbors will come to my house every now and then, poke two persimmons, put on a few words, and then leave alone or in a group. There are many laughter and good memories in the persimmon tree.

The yard extends out, near the gate of the fence, there is a small piece of muddy land about 20 square meters, despite the small size of the land, this is the basis for our family of 6 to survive, there is not only the third tree  There is a persimmon tree, a third red mandarin tree, and a well, which is said to have been dug by my great-grandfather when he was alive, and our family relies on it for drinking water.  When the water source in other houses is not good, I will occasionally come to my house with a bucket to fetch a few buckets of water for emergency use.

There is a small stream at the door of the house, and a bamboo fence is used to make a wall near the stream, connecting the neighbors on the left and right.  The fence was woven bit by bit by my grandfather. I knew from an early age that my grandfather was a well-known bamboo craftsman.  I can weave many things with bamboo strips. My grandfather raised my father and aunt with this craft.

Walking out of the yard and crossing the small bridge over the creek, there is a piece of "dry land" outside. Nine orange trees and one lemon tree are planted in the field. This is the main source of fruit. Although I am afraid of acid, I occasionally  Will give it a try too.

In the 1990s, my family was very poor and their lives were very poor. My impression of my family members was that they were all thin, with sallow skin, and only two or three pieces of clothes were worn all the year round. But because of my arrival, everyone¡¯s eyes were full of  Looking at the joy, as if tomorrow's life will be better.

When I was first born, my mother had a fierce quarrel with my father because of something, and went to my grandfather¡¯s house 2 miles away in a fit of anger, while I was hugged by my aunt and fed with rice soup from a bottle.  Until now, my aunt still occasionally says that she fed me rice soup.  Although I didn't eat a few rice soups at the time, my dad brought my mom back.

At that time, the family really had no money, and milk and milk powder are so popular now that everyone can afford it.  Our village and the next-door village don¡¯t even have a single cow. In spring and autumn, people who have cows from the next village above are invited to plow the fields.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
