    ?

The moonlight came in through the gaps in the windows, obliquely shining on the floor of the office, revealing a few wisps of faint white light.  A pair of birds were clinging to the tree pole, and when the wind blew, they shivered from the cold.

Dong Fang sat on the seat, holding a document in her hand.  At this moment, she only felt that her eyelids were a little sleepy, so she closed her eyes slightly, and lay back on the office chair to take a rest.

Dong Fang hasn't had a good night's sleep for a long time, especially after her father passed away, there was no one around her to remind her to go to bed early, and her schedule became more and more chaotic.  She put all her energy into her work, and it seemed that only in this way could she get more comfort in her heart.

In the haze, there seemed to be a figure shaking. Dong Fangqiang opened his jerky eyelids and took a closer look, but it turned out to be Ling Weihua.  Startled, she quickly sat up straight, and shaved back the broken hair on her sideburns: "Wei Hua, why are you here?"

"I just came back from a business trip and passed by your company. I saw the lights were still on from afar. I got out of the car and came over to ask your guard. That's when I realized you haven't come home yet. I came up to see you." Ling Weihua said  Then she took off her coat and put it on for Dong Fang: "It's cold in the office at night, you'll catch a cold if you sleep like this."

Dong Fang rubbed her eyes, and said with a smile: "I just want to read the information. I didn't know it was so useless. I fell asleep after reading it for a long time."

"Fortunately, your company still has security guards and door guards, otherwise you are so big-hearted, I'm afraid you won't know if there are thieves coming." Ling Weihua joked.

"Don't be afraid of thieves if you really want to come. I don't have any valuables in this office, just a little furniture and materials. I'm afraid I have to run away when people come." Dong Fang said.

"Then you were so surprised just now, what are you afraid of? Could it be that you are afraid of me?" Ling Weihua asked with a half-smile.

Dong Fang had come to her senses at this time, she heard Ling Weihua's words, there was something else in them, but she didn't make it too clear.

She smiled softly: "We have known old friends for many years, what am I afraid of you? I feel at ease when you are here."

"Oh? Really?" A gleam of joy flashed across Ling Weihua's face.

Dong Fang knew that he would get the wrong idea again, so she hurriedly lowered her head and asked, "You are quite tired just after returning from a business trip, aren't you? Go back and rest quickly, I will be back soon."

"Shall I see you off? The car is waiting outside." Ling Weihua said.

Dong Fang hesitated for a moment, but tidied up the materials a little, then took down the woolen scarf hanging on the hanger, "Then I will trouble you."

Although the two were walking side by side, there was a distance between them.  Ling Weihua carefully protected Dong Fang into the car, and Dong Fang stuffed his coat over casually: "Put it on yourself, it's quite cold outside."

Ling Weihua got into the car from the other end, holding his coat in his hand, and said with a smile: "I am a big man, I am full of fire, so it is nothing to be cold."

The driver glanced at the rearview mirror of the car to make sure that everyone was sitting still, and then the car started slowly.

Dong Fang looked at the night scene passing by outside the window, put one hand on the car window and said with a smile: "You always like to talk nonsense."

Ling Weihua pondered for a while, as if he was talking to Dong Fang, and also as if he was muttering to himself: "I'm also happy to see you smile if you're talking nonsense."

Dong Fang coughed softly, turned her head and looked at the dark night outside the window, thinking for herself.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
