    ?

When the father and daughter were talking, Dong Fang hurried to untie the box, which contained some gifts.

What Dong Weicheng took over from Dong Fang was a black paper fan with exquisite workmanship, with orchids painted on it, and inscriptions with steady strokes.  What is written on it is "a group of lights move and breathe, and a lonely chime surrounds the sky".

This black paper fan is a special product of Hangzhou. The bones of the fan are made of tough palm bamboo, and the surface of the fan is made of pure mulberry paper, and then coated with several layers of persimmon lacquer, which can be said to be impervious to rain.

"The word on it was written by the presiding master before I made a special trip to Linyin Temple before I came back." Dong Fang said with a smile.

Hearing this, Dong Weicheng threw the folding fan away with a "wow", and between retracting and releasing, he could not put it down.

"Here, this is for you, second brother." Dong Fang said and handed over another package.

Jun Tao smiled and unwrapped the packaged string, "Oh, sister, you still remember your brother and me at last."

The oiled paper was opened, but what was inside was Dingsheng Cake with a light color.

"I can't wait, let's take a bite first." Jun Tao put a piece of pastry into his mouth and chewed it, "It smells so good, it's so delicious."

Dong Fang lowered her head, let out a "chi" laugh, and handed over a glass of cold boiled water, "Eat slowly, and no one will snatch it from you. Do you need to be so anxious?"

    "Cough!"

Jun Tao blushed and choked twice.  He hurriedly grabbed the enamel cup, and "Gudu, Gudu" took a few gulps of the cold boiled water.

"Hoo Sister, you don't know me yet, and you don't have any big ambitions, so you just look forward to such a delicious bite. But, you are really a roundworm in my stomach. I have long wanted to taste it."  Let's see what this Hangzhou pastry tastes like." Jun Tao stroked his chest and panted.

After all, there was a little naivety in these words. Dong Fang and Dong Weicheng looked at each other and laughed in unison.

Dong Fang sat in the yard, talking vividly to her father and younger brother about what she had seen and heard in the city outside.  Such as the schoolwork in the school, the collection of books in the library, even the landscape of Hangzhou, the food characteristics and living customs of Hangzhou people, etc.

Although what they said was trivial, Dong Weicheng and Jun Tao listened intently with smiles on their faces.

At dinner, Dong Fang made an exception and drank a bowl of warm rice wine with her father.  The rice wine is homemade, and an egg is added to boil it in the wine. After drinking it in a bowl, the wine will come back quickly.

Dong Weicheng was very happy, drank a few more bowls, and soon lay down on the table, a little drunk.  Jun Tao hurriedly carried him on his shoulders and sent him back to the house to rest.

Dong Fang was also in a haze of drunkenness, touching her chest, only feeling her heart beating violently.  She immediately touched her forehead with her hand, and it seemed a little hot.

The moon was shining brightly outside the window, thinking that she would not be able to sleep anyway, Dong Fang simply tore off a sweater and put it on with gloves, and went to the patio to enjoy the night breeze.

A pair of green eyes flashed past Dong Fang, and the black cat jumped out of nowhere, jumped onto Dong Fang's shoulder, and scratched its head on her neck.

The fur is soft, and Dong Fang "giggled" when she scratched it. She just wanted to hug the little guy when she saw it jump down, and she didn't know where it went.

At that time, Dong Fang suddenly caught a glimpse that the door of the bamboo cage originally placed in the corner was open.

She couldn't help being startled, and hurried over to call Jun Tao: "Second Brother, it's not good, come and see, are the chickens and ducks outside gone?"

Jun Tao had fallen asleep. Hearing what his sister said, he hurriedly turned on the light to see what happened.

When the siblings arrived in front of the bamboo cage, needless to say, it was empty inside, not a single chicken or duck had disappeared.

"Hey, something bad happened, the cage door was not closed properly, and this little beast ran away!" Jun Tao patted his thigh heavily and annoyed.

Together, the siblings decided to take flashlights and rush outside the alley to search.  But at this time, the streets are already completely quiet, and the chickens and ducks that ran out have long since disappeared.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
