    ?

The girl with her head down suddenly looked up at the blonde woman: "And then?"

The blond woman's bright eyes were full of sadness, and her smile was mixed with the bitterness that both of them could understand.

"Then, we had that date, butit wasn't him I was dating, it was his friend, and they said he wouldn't come, unless I cried, really cried, or he would be with someone else  When women are together, they will never want me again."

The young man on the opposite side couldn't listen anymore, closed the book in his hand, and said angrily: "How could such a thing happen, if this kind of thing is here, no one will believe it."

The girl beside her shook her head: "I don't think so. If I could quench my thirst for the annual drought in our hometown by crying, I would rather try to cry twice, but what I hate the most is your lover's attitude.  It's the most irritating thing when someone else comes to see you."

The bright eyes of the blond woman's smile flickered, and there was no sadness in the eyes, but a little more relief.

Turning to look at the girl: "Maybe he has no face to see me. I have lived happily ever since I was a child. I don't know what sadness is. I couldn't cry. The villagers arrested me and threw vegetable leaves on me.  They smashed eggs, didn't even give me food and drink, and left me exposed to the sun, but I didn't leave there, and I didn't refute a word, I have to wait, wait for him to come."

The young man showed sympathy in his eyes, and he clenched the book in his hands: "Is he here?"

"No, I waited for a long time, I felt very thirsty, the sun was very strong, my whole body was dry and my eyes were dizzy, he didn't come, I didn't want to give up, I just waited there, the villagers were very disappointed with me, they thought  I am a cold-blooded person who will not help me. Some people spit on me, and some people speak bad words to me. I can¡¯t cry. I smile and look at the person who spat on me. There is only one thought in my heart, which is to wait for him  Come."

The girl diagonally opposite looked at the blond woman nervously, and muttered: "Isn't it just crying? What's the problem? If I am bullied like this, I will cry to death."

"You don't understand." The blond woman smiled, "People who are naturally happy don't understand what sadness is. I exist to be happy."

Looking at the girl with a confused face, the blond woman shook her head: "I was tied up by them for a whole month. During the month, I felt the water in my body disappear. I really wanted to drink water, and my throat was so dry  I can't give alms, I just want to wait for him to come, wait for him to come to me, save me, take me away, even if I cry, I will cry in his arms."

"Did he come to see you?" the young man opposite asked hastily.

"No." The blond woman lowered her head, looked at the golden phone in her hand, and clenched her fingers tremblingly.

"No, he didn't come to see me."

The girl diagonally opposite suddenly asked: "Then are you crying?"

The blond woman looked up at the girl and nodded with a smile: "I cried, I couldn't wait for him anymore, I was so desperate to wait, and cried when I closed my eyes at the end, I don't know if it's raining in the village, I just know  I'm tired, I want to drink water, I want to go home, get out of here get out of here forever."

The young man on the opposite side sighed, lowered his head and stopped talking, the blond woman suddenly looked at him and murmured.

"Can you tell me, if you were him, why didn't you go to see me?"

    "To be continued"

A new year, a new beginning, but it feels like doing repetitive things.  Come on!  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
