    ?

Yan Xi stopped, turned around and looked at him with a solemn expression.  His heart fell into the ice cave, knowing that all this is true, she is really going to marry Yang Fan!

The thought that he was about to lose her made him tremble with fear.  He walked towards her, staggered and almost fell, he knew that he must be in a terrible mess, but he couldn't care less.  He pulled her into his arms and held her tightly, as if she would not leave him.

"Xiang Lan told me that you were going to marry Xie Wei. She lied to me, didn't she? She was angry at me for making you frightened outside, and said these words on purpose to anger me, wasn't she?" He looked at her, almost pleading.

"No!" With just two words, a sad heart surged up and blocked his throat, and he could no longer speak.

"Yan Xi, the relationship is between the two of us, you can't make a decision alone." He looked at her, wishing he could get into her heart.

She tried her best to suppress her emotions, and squeezed out a smile: "I used the method you taught me to draw a scale, and wrote Marry Yang Fan and Waiting for you to come out on both ends, and found that marrying Yang Fan is more affordable."

He held her hand: "I'll take you away. Let's leave Qingquan and Changping."

She broke free from his hand: "Since I promised Yang Fan to marry him, I can't keep my word. If I leave with you, with his fragile and sensitive character, it would be like killing him."

"You care about his life, so what about me? What about my life? For the rest of my life, what do you want me to do?" He was furious like a child, "You ended our relationship in this way, let me know,  I am the director of the factory in exchange for your life's happiness"

Yan Xi interrupted him: "Why do you think that my marriage to Yang Fan will ruin my happiness?"

    "You don't love him!"

    "That was before"

"Yan Xi!" He yelled, tears streaming from his eyes.

Yan Xi eased his tone: "I remember I asked you once, what would you do if I empathized with you? You said, you would wish me happiness, and then see if there is someone worthy of your love around you, love it well  she."

He asked her back: "Have you empathized?"

She said: "I will be good, try to be a good wife, and live happily. I will forget you, and you don't have to remember me."

"You know, after taking this step, we can't turn back!"

"This is my choice to weigh the pros and cons, so I naturally think about it very clearly."

He saw that she turned around to leave, but she really refused. He stared at her back, feeling his heart being uprooted and unable to breathe in pain.

    "Yanxi!" he yelled, so heart-piercingly.

Yan Xi trembled slightly, turned to look at him, held back tears and said: "Life is like crossing the ocean. I was fortunate to meet you in the same boat and take care of each other. Now I have reached the other shore, so I have no choice but to go to the shore. The sound is precious,  They went their separate ways. I love you, that was Zeng Jin's thing."

He finally understood that he couldn't catch her anymore, and he didn't want to accept it, but he couldn't help it, so he could only pretend to be calm: "I wish you happiness!"

Yan Xi felt lost, looked at him closely, and wanted to engrave him in his mind and heart.  She knew that their fate was over: "Take care!"

When Yan Xi returned home, everyone in the room looked at her nervously, Qi Yueru finally relaxed the string she had been stretching, and was worried just now whether Yan Xi would elope with Yi Jingchen.  If I have to leave this time, I may really lose this daughter.  But then she felt that her daughter was not such a person. Since she agreed to marry Yang Fan, she would not do such a temporary regret.

She stared at her daughter closely, trying to find out what was in her heart from the clues of her expression, but found that everything was in vain.  She followed her into the room.  Yan Xi sat in front of the sewing machine again and began to concentrate on sewing her wedding dress.

"Jingchen, what did I tell you?" She asked cautiously.

"It's nothing, I have made it clear to him, we will be two irrelevant people from now on." Yan Xi raised his head and said with a smile.

Seeing such a daughter, she felt even more worried. She could feel that these days she had been forcing herself to act like a bride.  She carefully sewed her own wedding dress, accepted everyone's blessings with a smile, but never mentioned Yi Jingchen.  She buried him in her heart, and no one knew how this relationship would ferment and change in her heart.  Like a tumor, she doesn't let people check it. She doesn't know whether it is benign or malignant. She doesn't know whether it will automatically metastasize and disappear in the end, or will it be slowly swallowed and lose her life?

"Yan Xi, if you feel sad, you can talk to your mother." Qi Yueru said worriedly.

Yan XiqueShe smiled and said, "Mom, your daughter is getting married soon, what's so sad about it?"

    "Are you really willing?"

"Mom, I know what you are worried about. This is my own choice, and I will be responsible for my choice."

She used scissors to cut off the thread connecting the sewing machine and the wedding dress, shook off the clothes, stood in front of the mirror, compared them, and asked Qi Yueru, "Does it look good?"

"You look good, you look good in anything you wear."

Yan Xi said: "It would be even better to wear a thin black belt around the waist."

She bent down, rummaged through the desk, shook out every book, and even threw some of them on the ground.

Qi Yueru hurriedly asked: "What are you looking for? I'll help you find it."

Yan Xi said: "A black velvet belt, I remember I put it on the table."

Qi Yueru searched on the desk, but didn't find the black velvet belt she mentioned.  Walking to the sewing machine, he opened the small drawer on the sewing machine, saw a piece of black velvet that was as wide as the little finger, picked it up and asked, "Is it this one?"

    "Yes, this is it."

Yan Xi took the black velvet belt from her mother, sewed it on the waist of her wedding dress, tied a bow in front, and smiled contentedly: "That's it."

Qi Yueru said: "Don't you embroider something on it? I think the dragon and phoenix Chengxiang you embroidered for Wang Fengping last time are very good."

Yan Xi said: "No, I want to be simple. Not all clothes have to be complicated and fancy to look good."

She turned on the electric iron, and waited for it to heat up: "Mom, you have to do something, I'll be fine soon."

    "I have nothing to do."

Yan Xi sprinkled some cold water on the skirt, covered it with a white cloth, and scalded the hem of the skirt.  When the electric iron encounters water, a gust of water vapor gushes out, and the water vapor is dense for a while.

Qi Yueru said: "Yan Xi, she will be the daughter-in-law of the Yang family in two days. Now that I have made this decision, I have to live a good life with Yang Fan. Yang Fan is an honest man, and if you follow him, Mom can rest assured. It's just that  Since ancient times, there have been many conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. If you have conflicts with his mother, you should be more considerate. After all, she is a widow, and it is not easy to raise her son."

"Mom, I know." Yan Xi pressed both hands firmly on the handle of the electric iron, letting it iron the skirt more snugly.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
