    ?

Every year on May 15th, my mother and father would take me to Qinjiang in the far east.  In the east of Buzhou Mountain, there are lush trees and no one inhabited here. There is an enchantment in the woods by the river, and only those who cultivate immortals can enter it. Walking into the depths of the woods, there is a golden river and sea.  There will be dots of silver light, this is Tan Jiang who has gathered all the memories of fairy spirits.

My father and mother said that as long as you have the heart, you can see old people. I didn't understand it until I was eight years old. There were waves of thick fog on the sea, and the silver light gradually dimmed. Two ethereal ghosts appeared on the river.  The figures are getting closer and closer to us. Although there is no entity, I can clearly see their facial features. They are all extremely delicate and beautiful.

One held a jade flute in one hand, and the other held a copper-colored scimitar in his hand, and the two stood one behind the other.

"Senior brother!" Mother shouted at the figures, but one of the figures actually said: "Junior Sister, I haven't seen you for many years, it's good." That was the first time I saw my mother crying, and she nodded vigorously with tears in her eyes.  Nodding, as if exhausting all the strength in his body.  After a while, I sorted out my demeanor, nodded to another figure, and said politely, "Mr. Huo."

Since then, mother and father no longer go there every year, but asked me to take my mother's bracelet to the bank of the Qin River every eight years, kneel on the bank, and wait for the fog to appear.

Once in eight years, when the fog on the sea rises, those two young figures will appear. They always look at me tenderly, greet my parents, and say with a smile that I will see you once in eight years.  Not a lot, but it looks very much like when my mother was young.

I once had the courage to ask what happened between them and their parents.  But I didn't get an answer. I also asked my father and mother.  Parents never said anything.

"Ping'er, come here." It was the night after my 20th birthday, and my father gently called me to the study.  When I entered the house, I asked me to close the door and keep my voice down, so as not to disturb my mother to rest.

    "Father, what's the matter?"

Dad took out a letter that looked a bit old from the book behind him, and handed it to me.

"You have grown up, and you should know some things. From now on, you don't have to go to Qinjiang anymore. Your mother and I will not be with you after next month."

"What?" I was a little puzzled, "What do you mean not being with me anymore."

"In this Longyan Villa, you are the owner. Father and mother are going to travel far away. Now that you have grown up, you must be able to take responsibility. We should also do our things."

I was a little overwhelmed for a while, but I always knew what it meant, and I knew that my parents' plans would not change, so I nodded: "I understand, I will definitely take care of the villa.  Waiting for Mom and Dad to come back."

Dad shook his head and looked around: "I'm afraid I won't come back here again. I'll let you know when your mother and I settle down." Dad pointed to the letter in my hand and said: "  Didn¡¯t you always want to know about the past, this book will tell you, if you want to know, just read it yourself.¡±

After that, father and mother left here and went to a distant place, and I never saw them again.  Even the letter that Dad said would come as soon as he was settled down never came.

"Bing'er, father and mother are here to atone for their sins, and you will have to rely on yourself in the future. Don't meddle in the affairs of the Jianghu sect, just be your idle cloud and wild crane, and even if you don't see you again in the future, you still have to know, father and mother  Always thinking of you."

These were the last words my mother said to me on the day she left.

I once wondered if I could find them on the bank of the Qinjiang River, but I never found the entrance to Buzhou Mountain.  It seems that all the years are just a dream, and even the classics that record all the myths and stories say "Buzhou Mountain, an ancient sacred mountain, its location is not yet known."

I have also inquired about the uncle and Mr. Huo, but no one has ever heard of their names after searching all over the rivers and lakes. It seems that they have never existed, and there is not even a trace left.

And I have never had the courage not to open the slip of the book, and I always feel that if I don't open it, maybe my parents and I still have a little connection.

Up to now, it has been the 40th year since my parents left the villa, and I am also middle-aged, with a son and a daughter under my knees.  Memory is also a little fuzzy.  I only remember the blurred river surface and delicate face when I was a child.

It was May 15 again, at night, the courtyard was deep and empty, I quietly went to the study, and found the letter that my father gave me back then.  When it was about to open, a call was heard.

"Ping'er," in a trance, I heard someone calling my name. The voice sounded like my parents. I looked up and saw that it was really them, and they were still the same as before.?It never seems to get old.

"Father, mother!" This is the familiar title I yelled again after many years.  I got up and wanted to approach them, but the phantom in front of me disappeared suddenly.

I think I may have had another waking dream.

Bu Zhoushan, Qin Jiang, Mr. Huo, and Uncle Huo are all dreams I had while awake.

    "Ah Ping, is that you?"

There was another call, but there was no one around. Maybe it was a bit scary for ordinary people, but for me, it was a bit interesting.  Longyan Villa has been hidden deep in the bottom of the lake for hundreds of years, and there has never been such a thing.

    "Who is coming?"

"It's me." The female voice reached my ears softly.

I heard the voice as if it was in this room, as if it was very close to me.

    "Don't be afraid, come here."

Only then did I realize that the voice came from the letter.  A gust of wind blew the slips to the ground, but in an instant a ray of light radiated out.

"I've been waiting for you. Waiting for the day you open me."

    "Who are you?"

"I am the memory of your mother. She sealed me here. Just so that one day in the future, you can open me and know these past events."

"My mother?" I never thought that my father would leave me with memories of my mother.

"Come to me and go back to the past with me. Your parents have been waiting for you there for many years."

For a while, I lost consciousness.  When I woke up again, I was indeed no longer in Longyan Villa.

I don't know where this is, high walls and green flags hang high in the sky.  And I turned into an eight-year-old child again, as if I was sick, surrounded by maids and women serving tea and water.

    "Ah Ping, are you awake?"

A woman walked up to me and touched the temperature of the back of my hand.  That is the warmth that I have also felt.  When I opened my eyes, I didn't expect it to be my mother, but it was different, she seemed younger at this time.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
