    ?

Xu Zhongxia's eyes turned black, and his body leaned back as if about to fall.

"Maybe I'm too hungry." She said weakly.

"I'll help you put the back of the chair down!"

Mai Lidong quickly helped Xu Zhongxia put the car seat to the lowest position and let her lie flat.

"Is this better? By the way, hurry up and eat a candy, I happen to have a candy in my pocket."

He tremblingly took out a plum candy from his trousers pocket, tore off the plastic paper in a panic and put it near Xu Zhongxia's mouth.  Xu Zhongxia opened his mouth to eat it, and put it in his mouth, the sweet and slightly sour plum flavor spread in his mouth.

Feeling a little better, the sinking feeling in my stomach gradually disappeared, the feeling of dizziness also passed, and my vision became clear again.

Li Dong's face was above Xu Zhongxia's, looking down at her with concern, his eyes were full of tension and worry.  "Do you feel better?"

Xu Zhongxia said, "Well, it's better."

"You can rest for a while, if it's better, let's change the location, I'll drive, let's find a place to eat. I heard Zhong Qin said that you left without eating last night, did you go home for dinner?  "

Xu Zhongxia shook his head lightly.

Mai Lidong frowned, "Have you not eaten since last night? You really I'll take you to dinner right away."

Xu Zhongxia said, "I'm fine." She was really taken aback when she saw a man's big face on the glass window as soon as she sat up.  It was an idler outside who passed by here, and leaned over the glass window to look inside, with a weird smile on his face.

"Go away!" Mai Lidong chased away with a sharp voice, and the idle man left in fear.

Mai Lidong got out of the car and asked Xu Zhongxia to move to the passenger seat, and he himself got into the driver's seat and prepared to drive.  After sitting firmly, Xu Zhongxia realized belatedly why that idler just leaned over the glass window to look at it. Could it be that he thought they were doing something in the car?  Just now the seat was almost flat, the posture of her and Mai Lidong was really misleading.  Xu Zhongxia blushed and turned away from Mai Lidong.

"Let's find the nearest one," Mai Lidong didn't notice her strangeness, "We will stop at the first one we see when we drive out."

    "Okay." Xu Zhongxia said.

After driving for two or three minutes, I saw a snack bar on the side of the road. After parking the car, Mai Lidong hesitated, "Is this store too small?"

Xu Zhongxia said: "It's okay, just eat a little, I'm going to starve to death."

    "Okay, okay."

Mai Lidong immediately turned off the engine, got out of the car to open the door for Xu Zhongxia, and covered the upper door frame with his hand to prevent her from bumping into each other.  When Xu Zhongxia got out of the car, he looked down and saw his plaid pajama pants.

She was still in her pajamas when she went downstairs in the morning, when the security guard knocked on the door and told her that something was wrong with Li Dong's car parked behind for a night and hadn't left yet, she didn't have time to change, so she just put on a down jacket and went out with the security guard  , she didn't notice her nondescript outfit until now, the down jacket belonged to her mother.

She whispered: "I walked outside on the main road dressed like this, oh, it's true."

Mai Lidong said: "It's okay, it's quite fashionable."

Xu Zhongxia can't take care of much anymore, she is really hungry and crazy, she just wants to eat.  The two walked into the snack bar. There was no customer in the store. The proprietress was behind the counter to settle the accounts. They had just finished their breakfast business, and there was still some time before lunch, and the kitchen was resting.

Mai Lidong stepped forward and asked, "Is there any food left?"

The proprietress immediately said with a smile on her face, "Yes, yes, there are steamed buns, small wontons are also available, and there are two deep-fried dough sticks."

"Okay, give us two bowls of small wontons, as well as vegetable buns and fried dough sticks."

    "OK, wait."

The two sat down at the table next to the wall. Although the table was wiped clean, it still felt a little greasy to the touch.  Xu Zhongxia took out a pack of napkins from his pocket, took out one and wiped the table again.  He wiped his own side, and also wiped Mai Lidong's side.

    "Thank you!" Mai Lidong said.

Xu Zhongxia looked up at Mai Lidong, and asked, "Can you really eat in such a shop?"

Mai Lidong grinned, and said: "Yes, after a night of hunger, all the stink problems are gone, and I can eat anything."

Xu Zhongxia also smiled lightly, "You didn't eat anything last night?"

"It's a little better than you, I ate a couple of bites at my aunt's, and then I came to see you"

Before finishing the following words, the two of them stopped talking.

    "I'm coming!"

The arrival of the proprietress broke the silence, and a hot and delicious breakfast was served.

Each of them took a bun and ate it in big mouthfuls.

Both young men were famished, and the night was so long that it seemed that a long life had exhausted all their strength.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
