    ?

"Help! Doctor, save my child!" A middle-aged man with a little boy on his back ran all the way into the children's hospital, and shouted out of his throat, almost in a state of disquiet.

He called for the doctor hoarsely, and even the veins on his forehead jumped up.  The child lying limply on his father's back was pale, and trembled from time to time.

It just so happened that Zhang Xingzhi, who had just finished his visit to the doctor, saw the scene in front of him. He hurried forward to pick up the child and carry it on his back.  When the man saw Zhang Xingzhi's gray hair, he thought it was a kind old man passing by, and hurriedly said, "I'm young and strong, so I'll carry the child myself!"

Zhang Xingzhi said calmly: "Do you know the location of the emergency department?"

"Hey, how do you know that? We just moved to Shencheng from other places, and our child got sick. It's the first time we've come to this hospital." The man bit his lip nervously, the corners of his mouth were already covered with dry skin.  Bloodshot.

"I'll recite it, trust me, just follow me." Zhang Xingzhi said calmly, and ran all the way to the emergency department with the child on his back.  The sound of the child's rapid breathing came from time to time, and a sour feeling drifted into Zhang Xingzhi's nose.  He assumed that the child had just experienced severe vomiting and required immediate first aid.

The road to the emergency room turned from the right side, and Zhang Xingzhi firmly controlled the rhythm in terms of timing, and did not lose his footing at all.

Although the child is small, the weight is not light.  Especially in the long-term high-intensity work, Zhang Xingzhi himself had some old problems in his cervical spine and lumbar spine, and he felt bursts of pain in his back several times.  Seeing the child's father felt very sorry, Zhang Xingzhi refused several times to take the child and carry him on his own: "I am a doctor, I can do it."

When several nurses in the emergency department saw Zhang Xingzhi running towards him out of breath, they rushed over immediately.  They hurriedly put the child on the stroller in one breath, and pushed the unconscious child into the emergency room all the way.

Zhang Xingzhi leaned on the wall and motioned for the nurse to take the parents of the children to the waiting area for a while.  He vaguely heard the child's father thanking him repeatedly, and when he turned around, he felt the darkness in front of him, and he collapsed to the ground.

The child was saved. It is said that a few minutes later, this little life may not be saved.  Zhang Xingzhi's preliminary judgment was not wrong. The child did have symptoms of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. For young children, if it is not handled properly, it is a very dangerous situation.

The child was saved, but Zhang Xingzhi's body was exhausted.  The department asked Zhang Xingzhi to go home to recuperate, but Zhang Xingzhi refused.  Because of going to the United States before, many patients' appointments were temporarily postponed, and he could no longer let people wait for nothing.

When Wan Qing walked to the door of the consultation room, she saw people coming in and out constantly.  Zhang Xingzhi was holding a bottle with one hand, and was writing a medical record card with the other.  Although he was physically weak, he still faced the children and their parents with a spirited look.

During the lunch break, the long queue at the door dispersed.  Wan Qing knocked on the door and entered the office, then glanced at the almost bottomless glucose water bottle hanging on the hanger: "Shall I call the nurse to pull out the needle?"

Zhang Xingzhi shook his head: "I can solve this small matter by myself, so I won't bother them. There are still many patients outside, so it's not easy to use medical resources indiscriminately."

Having said that, Zhang Xingzhi took the alcohol cotton pads and Bondi stickers that had been prepared a long time ago, and quickly pulled out the needle neatly.  Then he put the medical waste into a special trash can, and then sat back in his seat and let out a sigh of relief.

"Hey? Xiao Su, why are you here today?" Zhang Xingzhi suddenly thought of asking.

"Some samples from the Children's Hospital recently, I'm here to verify some of the situation." Wan Qing said, "I just came down from the auxiliary building, and I heard some nurses say that they will change the bottle for you in the afternoon.  I wonder if you are sick, so I will take a look."
