    ?

In an instant, Huai Ru felt the heat in his father's palm.  He hastily stretched out his hand to touch his father's forehead, and as expected, he had a high fever.

Shi Zhiwen, who was in a coma, started talking indistinctly, and even mentioned the name of Huai Ru's long-dead mother.  Huairu was startled by this, and hurriedly called his father twice.

Shi Zhiwen opened his eyes for a moment, his lips were already dry and cracked.  His eyes stared at Huairu lifelessly, as if he didn't know him, no matter how Huairu called him, he didn't respond.

When it was raining, she was late with a hot water bottle. Wan Qing thought that her father-in-law would still be asleep at this time, and that the usual methods of drinking water might not work.  She hurriedly asked the nurse for a cotton swab, dipped it in a little hot water, and gently wiped it on the other's lips, which at least helped relieve some thirst.

Before dawn, Shi Zhiwen suddenly shivered all over his body. Even though Huai Ru stuffed a hot water bottle under his feet, he was still shivering from the cold.  His mouth kept moving, making the sound of teeth rubbing.  Sometimes I bite so hard that my whole face is covered with sweat.

Huairu wiped his father's face distressedly, and then brought the doctor to see what happened.  The doctor checked it out and said it was still caused by fever.  Because I have used ibuprofen before, and now the drug effect time has not expired, so I can only switch to paracetamol to cool down.

Huai Ru, Wan Qing, and Shi Zhiwen sat and waited until seven or eight o'clock in the morning. The upstairs inpatient department finally vacated a bed temporarily, and Shi Zhiwen was transferred to the special care ward.

Yu Shiyuan said that he wanted to go downstairs to buy breakfast, but was discouraged by Wan Qing.  She thought that Huai Ru and Yu Shi brothers might still have something to say, but if she was present, she would not say it so happily.

After Wan Qing went out, Yu Shi looked at his own toes anxiously, and he didn't dare to look at his elder brother, for fear that a glance would be a reproach.

?After traveling a long distance, driving here overnight, and guarding Huairu all night, his eyes were sunken.  Although his face was tired, his eyeballs were still full of vigor.

When he turned his head to look at the rain, there was fire splashing out of his eyes.  Yu Shi seemed to sense the anger in Huai Ru's heart, subconsciously pulled out his chair, and hid in a corner.

"This ward is only so big. If you want to hide, where else can you hide? Tell me, what's going on? Dad is fine. How can you say that he fell ill? You asked him to come to Shencheng to do it during the New Year's Eve."  What?" Huai Ru asked with a rough voice.

Yu Shi knew that he would not be able to escape without turning over the old score, so he had no choice but to bite the bullet and explain how he became a hero in the bar, and how he was tricked into signing a guarantee loan.  .

"Actually, there is one more thing. I haven't dared to tell my father. If he knows, he will faint again. Big brother, please help me out. I know I'm wrong, but there's nothing wrong with it.  I also don't want Dad to wake up and be angry again, so you just help me and Dad." Yu Shi rubbed his hands, almost pleading.

Yu Shi has always known Huai Ru's temper, if he makes a mistake, he has to be the first to admit it.  Otherwise, Huairu's stubborn temper might not be able to help solve the problem after a series of problems are involved.

Huai Ru stared motionlessly at his father who was still asleep on the sickbed, and said in a low voice, "It's already this time, just say what you have." (Remember this site's website: www.hlnovel.com
