    ?

Grandma received calls from many people, from the eldest daughter, from the youngest daughter and son-in-law, from the eldest son and daughter-in-law

Everyone was criticizing her on the phone.

"Mom, do we need you to eat or drink? Are you going to pick up trash?"

"You go pick up trash, where do we put our children's faces?"

"It's fine for you to pick up the trash yourself, but you still let the children beg?"

"That's not begging," grandma argued, but she couldn't remember the word Lang said. She said "art practice" as "street performance", "that's street performance."

"Isn't street entertainment just begging? When a beggar comes to the door to beg for money, doesn't he play an erhu and sing a tune first?"

    Grandma cried.

In the past, she would miss her children, always thinking, oops, children, why didn't you call her?  The eldest son and daughter-in-law have gone abroad, and international calls are very expensive, but the two daughters are in China, and domestic calls are cheap.

But now, she no longer wants to receive any calls from her children.

People are useless when they are old. When I was young, which child would dare to scold her?  They were all beaten and scolded by her. Now that the children have grown up and their wings are hardened, and she is old, no one listens to her words. It is her turn to be scolded.

The more grandma thought about it, the sadder she became, with tears running down her face.

Langhua brought the sugar bowl from the kitchen: "Grandma, grandma, my teacher said that eating some sugar will make you feel better."

Xiao Langhua took out a piece of rock sugar from the sugar bowl with her small hand and stuffed it into grandma's mouth, then raised her head and asked her, "Grandma, grandma, is it sweet?"

Xiao Qi came over to scratch his back with a wooden "don't ask for help" and said, "Grandma, I'll scratch your back."

Lang also came over and said to grandma: "Grandma, I play the guzheng, not the erhu."

There is no difference between guzheng and erhu to grandma, they are both pianos.

Lang said: "Grandma, there is still a difference. There can only be one bowl in front of the erhu, but my guzheng is so long that it can place many, many bowls."

Lang opened his arms and gestured, and grandma couldn't help laughing "puchi".

Grandma laughed, and the children cheered, clapping their hands and saying, "Grandma laughed, grandma laughed!"

Grandma asked everyone seriously: "Do you feel ashamed when you perform in the street?"

Lang said: "I will be embarrassed, but I can make money for grandma. Grandma will be happy when she has money."

Xiao Qi said: "I'm also embarrassed, but my cousin is here, so I'm not alone."

Lang Hua said: "Grandma, grandma, I will not be embarrassed."

Lang touched Xiao Langhua's head and said, "You are too young, you will feel embarrassed when you grow up."

Grandma is in a complicated mood.

Lang asked: "Grandma, will you be embarrassed when picking up trash?"

Grandma recalled her experience of picking up rubbish. Whenever she picked up rubbish on the side of the road and rummaged in the trash can for paper and bottles that could be sold for money, she also felt embarrassed, because there was always someone next to her.  There were so many strange eyes looking at her.

But she still insisted on picking up trash.

"I'm in my sixties, I don't know anything, and I'm too old to work. Picking up trash and selling it for money is the only job I can do. As long as I don't be lazy, I have an income every day. I already rely on  Picking up rubbish and saving a lot of money, reaching out to ask your uncles for money, I feel more humiliated than picking up rubbish!"

    The children applauded grandma.

Xiao Langhua even gave her grandma a thumbs up: "Grandma, you are awesome!"

"It's okay to pick up trash, but pay attention to hygiene. There are a lot of bacteria in the trash can. Grandma, you seem to be sick." Lang's words aroused grandma's thinking.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
