    cheerleading queen

This movie premiered on January 8th. I went to watch it that day, but the ratings and introduction were not yet released. I thought it was a youth campus movie, so I prepared to watch it to decompress it, but it turned out to be a documentary.

The protagonist is a team that has won many cheerleading national championships. The school is a junior school in a remote town in Texas. There is nothing you want. The cheerleading coach leads the students to break the historical record of the cheerleading competition and win the championship. But this is not the focus of the documentary, just  Background information, the documentary is not about their rise, but the situation after the team became a cheerleading giant.

    First introduce the background knowledge:

    1. There is only one xxx competition in the cheerleading professional competition. The major colleges and universities send their own teams to participate. After graduation, everyone will have no chance to join the cheerleading team. There is no professional team and living space other than students. The cheerleading team belongs to one  A hobby with no future and room for development.

    2. Before watching the documentary, I always thought that the cheerleading team seemed to be the most popular group of girls in the school to cheer up the athletes, and I should be fine.  As a result, their main job is cheerleading, and cheering has become a side job.  Performing is not about twisting and jumping, but like rhythmic gymnastics, it has a lot of aerial movements and has the highest injury rate among women's competitive sports. Now many boys also participate in cheerleading.

    3. If there is no special interest in cheerleading, then the common melon-eaters in the United States have the same idea as I did before, and they also think that cheerleading is a vase, and it is more bitch. It stays in the early impression and is a little bit stigmatized.

However, such a hobby with no fame, no profit, no future and being viewed by colored glasses has a bunch of fanatical dreamers.

After the team in the documentary became famous, many cheerleaders applied to this school, completely disregarding that the school itself is very ordinary, and it is different from other music art sports.  You're part of the team and it doesn't do much for your job search etc.  Some of these people are from poor families, and it is impossible to change their fate by relying on this. There are also some from superior families, but the folk customs in this place are very conservative, incompatible with urban culture, and the school is not good. I admire these people very much, regardless of whether they have money or not.  They can't even care about this, they only care about the cheerleading team, the sad thing is that after getting something they love here, they have to face and say goodbye to it forever.

I was a little apprehensive watching the training process. They practiced the "pyramid", which is a three-story human tower.  Injury, when the second floor puts down the legs, the head of the person at the bottom will be "chopped" if you don't pay attention, and when the person on the top floor jumps to the bottom floor, he accidentally bumps into something or the person at the bottom doesn't pick up.  There are really many accidents when you fall directly to the ground.

Except for those who suffered concussions and went to the side to rest, the others continued to practice.  And the coach is very strict. If there is a mistake that everyone did not catch the above person, everyone will have to do 50 push-ups.  This kind of devil coach, there will always be people complaining behind their backs or sometimes getting emotional. The players here are simply robots. When the coach gives the order, everyone does it without objection.

Competitive documentaries are generally more exciting, but this one is a bit sad because everyone can¡¯t extend the time with the cheerleaders even if they win the championship, and they can¡¯t express their thoughts on the goal of xx in the future. In this atmosphere, watching them stack up again and again  Pyramid, I was more deeply moved than watching other sports movies, especially the reason why they like cheerleading. Many people are not only not the popular campus stars in our impression, but are also bullied and ignored. Because of cheerleading, the first time  I realized the feeling of handing over my back to others, and felt the trust between my teammates. I kind of regarded this sport as a life-saving straw, and I felt that the more terrible the movements, the more enjoyable it was.  Of course, there are also those who like the beauty of this sport. They have watched various videos. No matter what kind of cheerleading team they see, they can know their dance, music, and coaches very well.

The coaches in the documentary are also a bright spot. Most of the cheerleading coaches are mainly men, but this coach is a woman. With her own strength, she not only turned a little-known team into a giant, but also made the cheerleading competition more difficult.  As a result, although I play against myself every year, it is very difficult to beat myself last year.

I am very happy to see this documentary, and I am also very happy to see this cheerleading team. Many times, even if my own hobbies can be realized, driven by collective anxiety, I still doubt its usefulness.  Obviously as long as you like it is enough, and you don¡¯t rely on it for food, but you still can¡¯t help but hope.?More practical, if it is a simple utilitarian psychology that can be satisfied with money, it is just a kind of anxiety and panic.  After all, new things appear too fast now, too many things are eliminated, and there are too many articles selling anxiety, it is hard not to be completely unaffected.

Thanks to this documentary for telling me that liking itself is enough, don¡¯t even think about extorting the residual value of your hobbies, it is also very good to make contributions occasionally and waste time and energy.

? Finally, add the unscrupulous Amway, the plot of the Japanese drama "I will live well in the next life" will definitely be harmonized when it is put up, so everyone go directly to Douban to find out.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
