    ?

Maybe it's because I feel ashamed, maybe it's because of other reasons.  Since returning home that day, Qingwan has been avoiding her mother-in-law all the time, and has become much more diligent, especially likes to go to the pond to wash clothes with her maid, Caiwei.

[1] "Lotus" Poetry by Su Chen

The pond at the entrance of the village is very large, and the hundreds of acres of fine rice fields connected to the bank were originally the private property of Qing Wanzu. When they got married, they were given to Zhen's family as a dowry.

On the west bank of the pond, there is a green lotus field, about seven or eight acres in size.  It was not green at first, but bright. After the Zhen family took over, they planted a piece of lotus root in the shallow water.  At the end of spring, a few tender green leaf rolls emerge sporadically from the bright water surface, and when the sun comes out, they spread out quietly. The spread leaves are as big as a palm at first, and gradually become as big as a cattail fan.  , and stretched out freely, and in the blink of an eye, it was covered with a sheet, covering the clear water.

Because there are two large pots of steamed buns[1] to be steamed in Caiying, today Qingwan went to this pond by herself.

Laundry, generally choose to wash at noon, because the sun is the most venomous at this time, you can let the sun dry the washed clothes while washing.  After the clothes are washed, the first ones are dried, and even if the last few small clothes are not dried, they are much easier to carry home on the basket.

Qingwan held an umbrella in one hand and came to the south bank of the pond with a wicker basket in the other. She found the stone slab lying in the water, moved it to a suitable position, and took out the clothes one by one from the basket  , slowly soaked into the water, then straightened up, stroked his hair, rolled up his sleeves, looked through the willow branches towards the lotus field, saw the flower buds sticking out of the water, and smiled from the corner of his mouth  tip of brow.  However, that smile was faint and faint.

She squatted down, picked up the soaked clothes, put them on the stone slab one by one, and soaped them one by one, then raised the mallet high, and let it fall gently, with a very rhythmic, snapping sound.  It sounds great, and the sound travels far.

The stone slabs swayed, and so did the water in the pond, swaying the ripples, swaying the duckweed.  Ripples collided with each other, duckweed crowded each other, and the bustle of a pond surged, breaking the silence of noon.

After returning home this time, Xiuran sent several messages asking her to go out to meet her, but she refused all of them.  Qingwan hammered at her clothes while thinking: "What is there to meet? It's nothing more than asking her when she will leave with him. Elopement, it's easy to say, but if you really put it into action, you will be very flustered! Go far away, where are you going?  Wandering? Or go to another country to beg?" Just thinking about my own thoughts, I heard someone reciting lyrically behind me:

    "Lotus palace-like beauty makeup,

The lotus leaves are facing the wind and the emerald greens make clothes.

Last night was as cool as water,

Xianqu is in the middle of the water.  "

Looking back, it was Ji Xu who was walking towards this side with his younger brother Mu Yu, followed by the grown yellow dog.

Qing Wan gave Ji Xu a white look, and asked, "You three, what are you doing here?"

Three, how can there be three?  When I saw the big yellow dog playing around, I realized it, smiled and said: "Sister, you really don't swear at people!"

But Mu Yu rushed to answer: "Sister, we don't 'be gods', we fish."

Seeing the small bucket in Mu Yu's hand, Qingwan asked again: "How many fish can such a small bucket hold? Yes, you didn't intend to catch fish at all!"

Mu Yu said: "No, this bucket is not for fish, but for earthworms and bait."

"Is Ji Dacai holding a fishing rod? Looking at it from a distance, he thought it was a walking stick." Qingwan laughed, "How can you bring it home if you catch a big fish!"

Ji Xu kicked the wicker basket and said, "No, is there any ready-made one?"

Qing Wan glared and said: "This basket is for storing clothes, how can I take it for you to hold fish for Mai Tai?" Seeing that Mu Yu took out another water glass from the small bucket, the mouth of the glass was still covered with paper  , and asked, "What's in your cup?"

    Mu Yu said: "Oil."

"Oil?" Qingwan smiled, "You didn't intend to take it home! The oil and salt are all ready, do you want to spread oil on it and bake here? Just in time, I didn't eat at noon, and today is really here"

"No, big sister." Mu Yu hurriedly explained, "This is clove oil, which is mixed with earthworms. Big fish will bite the hook soon after smelling it."

"Then don't practice your lip service here, hurry up and show your skills!" Qingwan watched Ji Xu holding a fishing rod, not looking like he wanted to fish, and urged, "Don't fish here, I'll wash it here."  Putting on clothes, making the water splash, even if the fish smell your lilac fragrance, they will not dare to come!"

Mu Yu asked: "Then where are we going?"

&nb?"Mo", "Momo", also known as "roll cake", "big bun", "steamed bun", "noodle", "wotou", "cooking cake" and so on.  One of the traditional Chinese noodles, it is said that it was invented by Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Shu Han Dynasty in the Three Kingdoms period.

Mantou is the main food of people in the wheat-producing areas of northern China, and is also popular in the south, where it is generally used for breakfast.  Originally, "steamed buns" were filled, while "white flour steamed buns" or "solid steamed buns" were not stuffed.  Later, with the development of history and the integration of nationalities, a change occurred in the northern dialect¡ªin the north, those without stuffing are called "steamed buns", and those with stuffing are called "baozi".

    (1) The origin of the name

According to legend, during the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang led his troops to attack the Southern Man, and captured the barbarian general Meng Huo seven times and six times, so that Meng Huo finally surrendered.  Zhuge Liang's team had to pass through Lushui on the way back to the court.

When the army's chariots and horses were about to cross the river, suddenly there was a strong wind, and the waves hit thousands of feet. Ghosts cried and wolves howled, and the army could not cross the river.  At this time Zhuge Liang summoned Meng Huo to ask the reason.  It turned out that the two armies fought, and the fallen soldiers could not return to their hometown to reunite with their families, so they made waves on the river to prevent the soldiers from returning.  If the army wants to cross the river, 49 barbarian heads must be sacrificed to the river, so that the wind and the sea can be calm.

Zhuge Liang thought to himself: Casualties are inevitable in the battle between the two armies, how can they kill another 49 lives?  When he thought of this, he made a plan, that is, he ordered the cook to mold 49 human heads out of rice noodles with meat of black cattle and white sheep inside.  Then, set up an incense table and sprinkle wine to sacrifice to the river.

Since then, there has been a saying of "steamed buns" among the people, and Zhuge Liang has also been honored as the patriarch of the dough sculpture industry.

In the Ming Dynasty, Lang Ying recorded in his notes "Seven Revised Class Drafts": "The original name of steamed buns is Mantou, and the man's head is used as a sacrifice to the gods. Zhuge's conquest of Meng Huo ordered bread and meat to be sacrificed to the head, which is called 'Mantou'.  It¡¯s also steamed buns.¡± Zhuge Liang¡¯s steamed buns, after all, are stuffed with beef and mutton, and the process is complicated and expensive.  As a result, later generations omitted the process of making stuffing, and it became the current steamed bun.  And stuffed ones become steamed stuffed buns.

People in the Song Dynasty wrote "Yan Yi Yi Mou Lu": "On Renzong's birthday, steamed buns were given to all the ministers, which is another name for steamed buns. Today, the vulgar crumbs are fermented, either with or without stuffing, and those who eat them are called steamed buns."

So far, the word "Man" of Mantou has been used up to now!

    (2) Other titles

The appellation of steamed buns is still very confusing today.  For example, those without stuffing in the north are called "moon", "juanzi", and "baozi".  Those with stuffing in the south are also called "miandouzi" and "soup dumpling".  No matter what kind of stuffed or non-stuffed steamed buns are now, they are actually far from the steamed buns created by Zhuge Liang.

There is another saying in Tang Dynasty Zhao Lin's "Yinhualu": ??"Steamed buns are originally Shu food (this said, it seems that there were steamed buns before Zhuge Liang), and it is said that Zhuge Liang used meat noodles like human heads when he conquered the south.  It was spread as the word "Man". I don't know the pronunciation and meaning at that time. It is suitable for deceiving the same pronunciation. Kong Ming and Ma Di conspired to conquer the south, and there is a saying of attacking the heart. When they cut down Menghuo, they were familiar with the camp barriers and captured them seven times.  There are acts of deceit, especially secular interpretation.?
