[1] "Cold Food on the Tomb" by Yang Wanli. Poem

Straightforward husband, how careful is it that the bridge is in danger and can be saved?

The distant mountains are pale outside the maple, and the dilapidated house is lonely beside the wheat.

The spring breeze is blowing again in the grass, and there is nothing in Xinqian.

Pear blossoms eat from the cold, and only worry about the festival.

Seeing Qing Wan's car arrive, Yu's servant immediately entered the house to report.

After a while, Aunt Zhen and Aunt Xue came out with a large group of children.  Seeing that the driver was a handsome young man, the younger sisters swarmed up like a swarm, and everyone laughed and said, "Brother-in-law"

Ji Xu was taken aback for a moment: whose brother-in-law is this calling?

Only the girls asked again: "Big brother-in-law, big brother-in-law, have you changed the driver?"

Zhen Youcai responded: "Which is the driver, this is Mr. Ji, the teacher of me and Qingyun."

    A girl said: "Teacher?"

Another girl asked: "Who is Qingyun?"

Youcai explained: "It's the younger brother Mu Yu. Mr. Ji gave his younger brother a nickname, Qingyun, which means Qingyun Zhishang."

Youcai got out of the car and introduced each other to the husband and sisters.  After seeing the ceremony, Ji Xu went to move the horse stool behind the car.

Fourth aunt Yingying asked: "How old is he? I will be your teacher."

Youcai said, "Hey~, she's older than me, both thirteen, no, she's fourteen this year."

Yingying said happily: "It's really suitable!"

Youcai asked wonderingly: "What is suitable?"

Yingying said: "It's suitable for me to be my husband~"

The talented little man said like an adult: "There is a saying, 'a woman without talent is virtue', fourth sister, you should not go to school! Wouldn't it be nice for girls to be at home, embroidering flowers and playing the piano?"

"I don't like embroidery!" Seeing Ji Xu move over the horse stool, Yingying stepped on the horse stool and climbed onto the car.

Qingwan lifted the curtain and asked, "What are you going to do?"

The younger sisters shouted "big sister" together, and then continued to climb up.

"I just remembered that you still have a big sister!" Qing Wan smiled, "If you want to take my car, you have to let the big sister get off first, right?!"

Yingying got off the horse stool and helped Qing Wan get out of the carriage. Before the eldest sister could take a few steps, the younger sisters couldn't wait to get into the carriage one by one

Qing Wan brought Ji Xu and others to the door, and after visiting her father and aunts, they both returned to her car.

Qingwan opened the car curtain, and saw four little sisters sitting on the seats lined up from oldest to youngest, staring at her in unison, even the youngest Xinyin stared at her big eyes, "Afraid!"  He looked at his eldest sister carefully, as if he was afraid of driving himself out of the car.

Seeing that no younger sister gave up her seat, Qingwan asked: "You are all seated, where is the eldest sister?"

The younger sisters said in unison: "Eldest sister takes mother's car."

Qingwan asked: "Why don't you sit down?"

Yingying said: "We don't want to listen to her nagging."

"Heh, you don't want to listen to her nagging, so I" Qingwan smiled, "Besides, are you afraid of your mother's nagging? You have taken a fancy to my car the car!"

Knowing that the eldest sister has seen through the girls' minds, the younger sisters blushed in embarrassment only Xiaoxin Yin stared at her sisters arguing cutely.

The second sister said: "Who has taken a fancy to your broken car~"

Third Sister said, "It's still a second-hand car."

Yingying said: "The bench is rigid."

Xinyin also added a sentence: "That's it!"

Qing Wan rolled her eyes at her sisters, and said, "Oh, don't look at my carriage as old, but I can't handle this equipment!"

Yingying asked: "What equipment do you have?!"

    Qingwan said: "White horse!"

    Yingying said: "Aren't you a brown horse~"

Qingwan asked back: "Is it a brown horse? Sister, do you remember that it's not Prince Charming? Look at you big sister, you're not so smart, why even your eyes are broken" She stretched out her hand to call the little girl down, "My heart is singing,  Don't squeeze in the car, go, go to the mother's car with the eldest sister, don't let these white-eyed wolves lead you down"

Xin Yin asked: "Why is sister so bad?"

"How bad," Qing Wan hugged Xin Yin and said, "They are 'mountain sparrows with long tails, they forget their mother when they see a handsome guy.'" After finishing speaking, she led Xin Yin to her mother's car.

Seeing that everyone got into the car, Imperial Physician Yu asked his groom to lead the way to the tomb of Yu's family.

About half an hour?It was a grand festival in the Tang Dynasty.

In the Song Dynasty, cold food and Qingming also had a seven-day holiday.  Volume 1 of Pang Yuanying's "Wenchang Miscellaneous Records" in the Northern Song Dynasty records: "There are six days in the 70th year of the ancestral hall's holidays, and seven days each in the first day, cold food, and winter solstice."  "Shizaji" said: "The two days before Qingming are the Cold Food Festival, three days before and after each, and seven days off. The folks ban fire for 14 days, which is called private cold food, and it is also called great cold food. Northerners all use this  The tombs are swept every day to sacrifice to the ancestors, and the month is endless, and there is a saying of cold food and January Festival." According to the Song "Mengliang Lu" records: every Qingming Festival, "officials, scholars and common people all go out to the suburbs to visit the tombs, in order to think about the time.  Respect." Tomb-sweeping activities before and after the Qingming Festival often become an event in which the whole society participates in person, and within a few days there are endless crowds in the countryside, and the scale is extremely prosperous.

    (4) Related Discussions

Can we wish each other a happy Ching Ming Festival?  There is a view that: no.  The main activities of Qingming Festival are solemn and solemn.  At the same time, these two are related to death, ghosts and gods, and the attitude of "happiness" is not advisable.

In this regard, Gao Wei, secretary-general of the Beijing Folklore Society, said frankly that it is possible to say "Happy Tomb-sweeping Day" during the Qingming Festival.  A statement that just came out.  The reason for the controversy is that people do not have a deep understanding of the connotation of Qingming Festival.

According to Gao Wei's analysis, Qingming Festival is the most important festival in spring, with rich themes.  The theme of Qingming Festival is not only tomb-sweeping, but more importantly, the combination of tomb-sweeping and outing.  When we wish happiness, it just means that we have the courage to overcome sadness and difficulties, which is also a positive attitude.

    (5) Stories and legends

Cold Food Festival, as we know, is a festival to commemorate Jie Zitui.

Jie Zitui was a native of Jin during the Spring and Autumn Period.  During this time, "Legend of Chong'er" was on the air, and Jie Zitui's deeds were what happened with Chong'er.

At that time, civil strife broke out in the state of Jin. Duke Xian of Jin's favored concubine Li Ji wanted to abolish the crown prince Shen Sheng, and changed Li Ji's son Xi Qi to be the crown prince.  Later, the prince Shensheng was framed to death by Li Ji, and the sons Yiwu and Chong'er were afraid of being killed, so they fled.

Chong'er took refuge in Zhai, and there were many sages who followed him, and Jie Zitui was one of them.

On the way to escape, Chong'er often suffered from hunger and hunger. Once he was about to faint from hunger, Jie Zitui cut off the meat from his leg and gave Chong'er to eat.  After learning about it, Chong Er was very moved, saying that one day he would become a king, and he would definitely repay Jie Zitui.

After nineteen years of fleeing, Chong'er finally became the king of the state, Duke Wen of Jin.

Due to the turmoil in the Zhou Dynasty, Duke Wen of Jin was busy serving the king and failed to reward him in time. Jie Zitui did not ask for the reward like others did and thought that he should be loyal to the king.  When he saw some people who had not fled with Duke Wen of Jin scrambling to ask for rewards, Jie Zitui was very angry and despised them, so he resigned from office and went back to seclusion, becoming a hermit who did not eat the king's salary.

After learning about Jie Zitui's thoughts, Jin Wengong felt that he was ungrateful, so he went to find Jie Zitui and wanted to reward him.  However, Jie Zitui didn't want to show up and hid in Mianshan.  Jin Wengong personally took people to Mianshan to search for it, but Mianshan is winding for dozens of miles, with many mountains, deep valleys and dense forests, so it is hard to find.  Duke Wen of Jin had no choice, so some villains around him proposed to burn the mountain to force Jiezi to push it out.  The mountain was burned, and it burned for three days, but Jie Zitui did not appear.

Later, Jin Wengong and others found the bones of a mother and child under a withered willow tree on the mountain. They were Jie Zitui and his mother.

In great grief, Jin Wengong cried and worshiped in front of the corpse, and then buried their mother and son.

Jin Wengong found a piece of Jiezitui's skirt in the willow tree hole blocked by Jiezitui's spine. On it, there was a poem written in blood: "Cut the flesh and serve the king with all his loyalty, and hope that the master will always be clear. It is better to be a ghost under the willow than to be accompanied by the king."  Be an admonisher. If the lord has me in his heart, he will always reflect on himself when he remembers me. I have a clear heart in Jiuquan, and I will be diligent and clear."

Later, Duke Wen of Jin issued an order: On the day of Jie Zitui's death, no fire should be lit for cooking, but cold food should be eaten, which is called the Cold Food Festival.  On this day, before Jin Wengong commemorated Jie Zitui, it was called "No Smoking Festival", "Cold Festival" or "Hundred Five Festival".

In the literature records, Jie Zitui did have a real person, but in the records of "Zuo Zhuan", "Historical Records" and other historical books, there is no plot that Jie Zitui was burned to death.  Moreover, the Cold Food Festival originated in commemoration of Jie Zitui, which was first recorded at the turn of the Han Dynasty (see Huan Tan's "New Theory").  Many scholars believe that this is the attachment of later generations to explain the Cold Food Festival.  ?
