[1] "Seven Laws. Untitled - Shangyu" Wang Wei. Poem

When the rain hits the banana leaves, it brings sorrow,

    The heart is ashamed to others with the crescent moon;

? Xinlan¡¯s hope and fragrance are short,

The mist looks at a distance and leaves a dream.

In the evening of late spring, there is still a deep coolness by the lake.

Du Shiniang sat at the table with her back leaning against the window.  She was holding a lute in her arms, as if she was playing "Rain Beats Plantains"[1], but she seemed to be fiddled with the strings randomly, and never played a tune.

The maid Ruyi walked into the room one after another, either cutting candles and lighting the lamps, or pouring tea and water. Seeing Du Shiniang sitting like that, she couldn't help but say, "Miss, if you have nothing to do, it's better to go early."  rest!"

Du Shiniang asked: "What time is it? Are you sleepy?" She looked uneasily at the burnt candle on the table and the pile of candle tears shed on the candlestick.

Ruyi looked at the window and said, "It's not too early. Since noon, it started to rain. Now, it seems that the rain is getting heavier and heavier. In this weather, Mr. Li will not come."  Bar!"

Du Shiniang glared at Ruyi and said angrily, "Who told you that I was waiting for Mr. Li?"

"Oh, Miss," Ruyi smiled lightly, walked to the bedside to tidy up Ten Niang's quilt, and then added incense in the incense burner, and said softly, "I have been with Miss for so many years, Miss's  Which worry, I don't know?"

"Come on, what do you know?" Du Shiniang smiled, "Ghost girl!" Then, Du Shiniang sighed inexplicably, "Ruyi, take the pipa away, I don't know why, what are you playing tonight?"  The tunes are not in tune."

"Why else" Ruyi picked up the pipa, walked to the door, turned around and said, "Don't you miss Mr. Li!"

Du Shiniang stood up angrily, and Ruyi ran downstairs in fright.  She came to the window again, pushed open the window lattice, and looked out of the window:

No, the drizzle is pattering on the plantain leaves, and the rain is dripping from the eaves; the shadows of the flowers and trees in the garden are blurred; the mountains and lakes in the distance are immersed in a  In the hazy rainy night

Traveling far away and sailing thousands of miles,

    ? Facing the troubled times, I feel sad for thousands of years;

? I used to protect the flowers and cherish the spring,

A piece of infatuation pays water.

Du Shiniang bit her lips lightly, sighed involuntarily, and said to herself, "Yes, he won't come on such a night. Maybe right now, he and his wife are cutting candles, chatting,  Burning the lamp to read at night!"

A gust of cool wind blew by, and Du Shiniang couldn't help shivering.  She gently tightened her coat, watching the raindrops sifting down from the treetops, and making a series of soft noises as they fell.

At some point, Ruyi appeared behind Shi Niang again.  She looked at the candlelight on the table, shaking from side to side with the wind blowing in from the window, almost going out.  Quickly said: "Miss, don't keep blowing there! I caught a cold two days ago, isn't it just right? Now I don't care about my body anymore." Then, she went to close the window and put in the bolt.

Du Shiniang stepped aside, looked at Ruyi's graceful waist when she stretched out her hand to close the window, and her pretty face when she turned her head to talk, and couldn't help but say, "Ruyi, you are such a good girl, but you have followed  I, too, have a hard life. If you were reborn in a good family, wouldn¡¯t you be a young lady?¡±

One sentence made Ruyi feel sad, she turned her head, looked at Du Shiniang and said, "Don't say it, miss, why did you tick these words again? It's my luck to follow you!" Ruyi forced a smile  "To be honest, miss, you should go to bed early. Mom is very upset that you rejected the invitation of the young master of the Wang family tonight. Tomorrow, Zhou Manor has made an appointment and invited you to go swimming in the lake!"

Du Shiniang asked: "Did Mom agree to the Zhou family?"

Ruyi replied: "That's not it. When can we reject the Zhou family? They are rich and powerful! Last time, I heard from the little boy of Lord Zhou that their uncle still wants to marry you as the fourth wife!"  !"

Du Shiniang spat angrily, and said, "Bah! He deserves it too!"

Ruyi lowered her voice and said, "So, miss, you should be more careful. The Zhou family is willing to spend a lot of money, and mother only recognizes this." She circled her fingers and said as if making money  , "If you really like that Mr. Li, you should urge him to come up with an idea!"

Du Shiniang blushed, and scolded: "Hey! You little girl, why are you getting more and more outrageous! Go, go, go to sleep, don't bother me hereI!  "

Ruyi was still reluctant, and said again: "What I said is serious! Miss, you must not miss this good opportunity, otherwise, if you regret it in the future, it will be too late."

Du Shiniang stared at Ruyi annoyedly and said, "Oh~, can't you say a few words less? Why can't you stop talking"

Ruyi didn't dare to speak any more. Looking at Du Shiniang, her brows were tightly knitted, tears welled up in her eyes, and her face was full of panic.

After hesitating for a moment, Du Shiniang said leisurely: "What do you know? Silly girl! A family like Young Master Li is not something that people like us can enter, you know? He is a scholar of generations,  The family education is strict. You don't know, every time Young Master Li comes back to my place, he dare not let his family know. Do you think their family will allow him to marry me in? Why don't you go away and stop talking here  !"

Ruyi couldn't help regretting it, blaming herself for talking too much.  She quietly retreated to the next room, leaving Du Shiniang, who was full of thoughts, alone there in a daze

    Notes

    [1] "Rain hits plantains"

Rain hitting plantains is a folk instrumental music of the Han nationality in China.  The music score was first published in 1921, "The String Song Must Read" compiled by Qiu Hechou, and later adapted by Pan Yongzhang, becoming a representative piece of Guangdong music.  The beginning of the song expresses people's joy with a smooth and lively melody, and then there are short sentences, rhythmic rhythms, and phrases arranged in parallel to remind each other. The short staccato is like the sound of rain beating plantains, which is very rich in southern China.  Interesting, and finally an allegro paragraph with a warm atmosphere, with a simple and fresh style.

In early summer, the sound of the rain hitting the plantains can best express people's joy. It is full of southern flavor and reflects the fresh, smooth and lively style of Guangdong music.

Basho is often associated with loneliness and sadness, especially parting feelings.  In the south, there is a silk and bamboo music called "Rain Beating Plantains", which expresses the desolate sound.

Li Qingzhao wrote in "Adding the Word Ugly Slave. Who Planted the Banana Tree in Front of the Window": "Who Planted the Banana Tree in front of the Window? It filled the atrium with shadows. The atrium was filled with shadows. The hearts of leaves and leaves were full of love. The third watch rain on the sad pillow,  A little bit of rain. A little bit of rain. Sorrowful for northerners, not used to listening to it.¡± poured out the sadness and melancholy, and complained to Basho.

Ge Shengzhong wrote even more sadly in "Dian Jiang Lips. County Zhai Sorrow": "In the cold autumn night, there is a light mist with fragrant seals on the quinoa bed. A little worry. Dreams chasing banana rain. Ai Hong outside the clouds, it seems to replace you  Human language. I can¡¯t go back. There are countless chaotic mountains. The slanting sun is desolate and the city is drumming.¡±

The rain hitting the plantain is already sad enough, but the dream soul chasing after the sound of rain on the plantain leaves makes people feel even more sad.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
