[1] "Jing Ke Song" Pre-Qin Poetry

The wind is blowing and the water is cold,

Once a strong man is gone, he will never return.

Wang Shouchang called Wan Zhedu and guard Zhan to his study, and gave them tasks.

Wang Shouchang said: "This assassination operation will be completed by the two of you. Although there is a bit of 'the wind is rustling, the water is cold, and the strong man will never return when he is gone[1]', I will definitely let you both come back alive."

Wan Zhedu and Zhan Weiwei raised their heads at the same time, looked at Wang Shouchang, and asked how they could come back alive.

Wang Shouchang went on to say: "This requires you two to carry out this 'beheading' operation according to my deployment."

Zhan Wei said: "Please rest assured, my lord, we will definitely follow your deployment!"

"Okay!" Wang Shouchang said happily, "In this way, the guard Zhan will pretend to be the butler of the Yu family, and enter the camp of the thieves in the name of discussing tomorrow's wedding procedures."

Zhe Du asked anxiously: "Then, what about me?"

Wang Shouchang turned to Wan Zhedu and said: "First of all, Timur is a Mongolian. I heard that he doesn't understand Chinese very well. His Han interpreter Xu is also a bum, and I'm afraid he can't understand my intention. You happen to use Yu  In the name of an adult and a student, he serves as an interpreter for his housekeeper."

Zhe Du replied: "Xiaosheng takes orders."

Wang Shouchang said: "The key point is that the picture of the beauty is your masterpiece. You just told Yexian Timur about the beauty of Miss Yu's portrait to attract his attention. In fact, discussing the wedding is just the beginning of the thieves.  The reason for the big camp. The most important thing is how to attract his attention to this painting. Once he relaxes his vigilance, you will be able to attack."

Zhe Du is very confident, "Don't worry, my lord, we are both practicing family members, so we must be quick in action. If he relaxes a little, we will end him, and the guards will have no time to save him"

Wang Shouchang hurriedly stopped and said: "No, no, no! This is the point I want to emphasize. You two understand it. Although this operation is called "Assassination of Qin", you are definitely not going to kill him!"

Zhan Wei and Zhe Du asked at the same time: "Don't kill him?"

Wang Shouchang said: "Yes, he was held hostage. Don't hurt him!"

Zhe Du asked: "Why is this? If we kill him, isn't it all done once and for all?"

Wang Shouchang said: "If you kill the bandit leader, how can his minion soldiers stop? Not only will they not let you go? I'm afraid even the people and monks in this temple will suffer as well."

The guard Zhan asked: "Then we hijacked him, what should we do next?"

Wang Shouchang said: "After hijacking him, he took him out of the camp immediately, and forced Yexian Timur to give an order to let the bandit soldiers surrender their weapons and horses. Wan Jieyuan quickly returned to the temple and notified the guards and monks  Quickly go out of the temple with all the people to receive weapons, etc., and guard the bandit soldiers. After everything is settled, quickly bring the bandit leader into the temple and wait for my order"

Zhe Du asked worriedly: "What if Timur doesn't cooperate first?"

Wang Shouchang asked: "Why not cooperate?"

Zhe Du said: "For example, he is not afraid of death and resists; or if a dead pig is not boiled, what should we do?"

Wang Shouchang smiled and said: "Don't worry, bandits are the most afraid of death."

    Zhe Du asked: "Really?"

Wang Shouchang said: "Of course! Why did they become bandits? Didn't they become bandits just to survive. There is a saying, 'It's better to die than to live', which is the best portrayal of their bandits."

It was already noon, and Wang Shouchang arranged a banquet for the two of them.

[2] "Song of Crossing Yishui" Pre-Qin Poetry

Exploring the tiger's den and entering the Jiao Palace,

Look up to the sky and exhale into a white rainbow.

At Shenshi, the gatekeeper monk opened the gate of Pujiu Temple.

Wan Zhe Duzhan's guards left the monastery one after the other, and then got into a carriage and left. Wan Zhe Du never looked back.

A good refugee intervened: "Such a short distance, do you still need to take a car? It's really a rich family."

Wu Chen said: "They used carts to fetch gifts."

The refugee asked again: "The bandits still give gifts? We have never heard of it!"

Wuchen said displeased: "There are many things you haven't heard of."

Seeing the carriage going away, the gate of Pujiu Temple was not closed tightly, but the monks were allowed to observe every move of the camp from the crack of the gate.

I saw that the carriage arrived at the entrance of the camp and was stopped. The guard Zhan and Wan Zhedu got out of the carriage.

The gatekeeper asked, "Who is the butler?"

      Zhan Wei said: "I am."

Minor said: "Then come in with me!"

Zhe Du asked, "What about me?"

Minor said: "What are you doing?"

Zhe Du said: "I am Master Yu's student, and my name is Wan Zhe Du."

Minor said: "Wan Zhedu, oh, then you wait here!"

Zhe Du said: "Don't wait here, I'm a Mongolian, I have to go in and be an interpreter for the king."

Minor said: "Our king has Yixu, you'd better wait here!"

Zhe Du was in a hurry, "Don't worry, I still have another treasure to dedicate to the king."

    Xiao Luo asked, "What baby?"

Zhe Du shook the scroll in his hand towards the minions, and said, "The portrait of my young lady, a picture of a beauty."

Minor asked in disbelief: "Beauty picture? Open it, let me see!"

Zhe Du had no choice but to ask Zhan Weiwei to pull the head of the painting and unfold it for the minions to see.

When the minions saw Yu Meipan's portrait, their eyes straightened, and they asked, "Is this Mrs. Yazhai?"

Zhe Du said: "Yes, I am a thousand times more beautiful than this."

    Xiao Luo asked: "Really?"

Zhe Du said: "Can there be a fake? How about it, let me in?!"

"Give him the portrait," Minoru pointed out the guard and said, "Just let him take it in. You are waiting."

Zhe Du said: "But this portrait was drawn by me. Only I can explain the charm of the young lady to the king"

A guard came out from Yexian Timur's big tent, and he asked from a long distance, "Where are you all, what are you arguing about?"

Xiao Luobing told the situation again, and the guard said: "Let the one with the portrait come in!"

Listening to the tone, there was no room for negotiation at all, so Zhan's guards had to wait outside the big tent, and Wan Zhedu followed the guards into the camp.

    Notes

[1] When the wind is rustling, the water is cold, and the strong man will never return once he is gone.

This famous sentence comes from the "Jingke Song/Du Yi Shui Song" in the pre-Qin period, in which "return" means "return"; and the sentence "exploring the tiger's den and entering the Jiao Palace, looking up to the sky and exhaling to form a white rainbow", is suspected to be supplemented by later generations.  do.

This is a generous elegy of a strong man who went to the tiger's den and knew he would not survive.  There are only two sentences in the whole poem.  The first sentence describes the parting environment, the bleak autumn wind, the cold Yishui, a tragic and desolate atmosphere.  The description of the scenery permeates the emotion of the singer.  The second sentence expresses the dedication of the hero to face the difficulties without hesitation.

The language of this poem is very plain and concise. It expresses emotions with the help of scenery and blends the scenes. It is a swan song in ancient Chinese poetry.

Jing Ke got his name from this, and these two short poems will last forever.  The difficulty in expressing majestic emotions in poetry is to make people feel convincing, not arrogant and exaggerated; to be able to express the more permanent and universal sentiment hidden behind the temporary emotion, not to be impulsive at that time.  About tragic words are often easy to act on emotions, but it is difficult for people to distinguish the truth from the false under the emotion, so the words between the lines not only deceive others, but also deceive themselves.  Many works that were euphoric for a while, I feel dull after reading them, and it is precisely because the performance deceives me.  "Song of Yi Shui" is an eternal swan song with two light sentences. When we read it, we must have Jing Ke's life experience.  This is the universality of art, which transcends time and space and appeals to the eternal sentiment.

There have been different evaluations of Jing Ke's behavior since ancient times.  Some people say that Jing Ke is a strong man who sacrificed his life for righteousness, while others say that he is an insignificant desperado.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
