    Other meaning

    (1) Infinite Light, this is the name of Amitabha Buddha.

    1 The pervasiveness of immeasurable light: light symbolizes happiness, happiness and freedom. The wisdom of the Buddha is perfect and omniscient, just like the light of the Buddha spreads across the ten directions.  Before the Buddha preached the Dharma, he radiated immeasurable light, which is the all-pervasive illumination of wisdom.  The immeasurable light of Amitabha Buddha contains all the freedom and happiness of Buddhahood.

    2 The return of the infinite light: Amitabha Buddha¡¯s infinite light is like the setting sun. The sunset is not the disappearance of the light, but the return of all the light. Tomorrow¡¯s rising sun will appear based on this.  Buddhism takes extinction as its nature, and it plays a boundless role in emptiness and inanimate life.  The same is true for the setting sun, which is the storehouse of light and the ultimate support of all light.  Among the sixteen methods of contemplation put forward in the Sutra of Contemplating Infinite Life, the first contemplation is the sunset contemplation, followed by contemplation of water, land, gardens and houses, Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin's potential arrival and so on.  Amitabha Buddha appears according to this.  The "Great Amitabha Sutra" says: To pay homage to Amitabha Buddha, one should "go to the setting sun".

    (2) Infinite life, which is also the name of Amitabha Buddha.  The Mahayana scriptures say: The Buddha always lives in Nirvana, and Nirvana is not a gray body with no wisdom. Amitabha Buddha's life span is boundless and boundless.  The permanent residence and immeasurable life of the Buddha are common to all Buddhas.  Amitabha Buddha is translated as "Buddha of Infinite Life" below Zhu Fahu's translation.

    Master Yinshun believes that the universal light of wisdom is not as good as an infinite life for all living beings in the world.  Because the eternity of life is what all living beings in the world look up to.

    Amitabha means infinite light and infinite life.  The light of the Buddha spreads across the ten directions; the life span of the Buddha ends three times vertically.  This represents the common virtue of all Buddhas.  Kumarajiva's translation of the "Amitabha Sutra" says that he is named Amitabha because of his immeasurable lifespan and immeasurable light.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
