Chapter 24 "Don't ask her who she loves¡ª¡ªFeelings after reading "Rou Fu Di Ji""

    ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª

My favorite novel is "Rou Fu Di Ji" by Milan lady.

This book takes the famous "Jingkang Difficulty" in the history of the late Northern Song Dynasty as the background, takes the "True and False Roufu Emperor Ji Case" as clues, and through the author's bold conception, on the basis of being loyal to historical events, it shows us  A poignant and beautiful story with magnificent waves and great sorrow.

In history textbooks, "Jingkang's Difficulty" focuses more on historical facts, and mentions all the women in the Song Dynasty who were in trouble, because the process was too bloody, dark, and sad But I have always been curious about that period of history: those who had no power to restrain chickens  Where does the weak woman go after the country is ruined and her family is destroyed, and she is captured and goes north?  In fact, the answer is self-evident, but the beautiful petals soaked in blood are buried in the billowing dust and smoke of history.

Empress Roufu, the twentieth daughter of Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty, Zhao Ji, is a rare legend among the many concubines who suffered.  She was treated preferentially for a long time, but because of the return of Zhao Gou's biological mother, Webster, she was called a nun "Li Jingshan" pretending to be a golden branch and jade leaf, which caused her identity to change suddenly and was eventually executed.

Many historians believe that the returned Roufu Diji is real!  It's just that Queen Mother Wei was afraid that Roufu would reveal her humiliating experience in the Kingdom of Jin, so she joined her son to kill him.  History has long been a thing of the past, not to mention the Song Dynasty, which happened more than a thousand years ago. Whether it is Roufu or Zhaogou, they are all gone, leaving only some traces in history.  But this trace of Roufu is an eternal mystery.  The novel "Rou Fu Di Ji" obviously followed the conjectures of many historians. Through ingenious plot arrangements and combined with the historical context, the identity of the real Rou Fu Di Ji was maliciously tampered with, and finally committed suicide by drinking poison as a sad and beautiful ending.

When I read the complete book for the first time, I was already in tears!  The plots are interlocking, echoing back and forth, and ingeniously conceived; the language is exquisite and beautiful, every word is full of sadness, and every sentence is full of tears

Zhao Yuanyuan, this is Roufu's real name in the text.  She, the carefree, straightforward and honest girl swinging on the swing under the cherry blossom trees in Huayang Palace, unexpectedly met the energetic "Ninth Brother" who was returning from the Jinying mission, and Zhao Gou, who was still King Kang.  Due to Rou Fu's deliberate trick of concealing his identity, and because Zhao Ji has too many children, many of whom are unknown to each other, the two brothers and sisters have developed a deep relationship that transcends ethics!

During the three years when the prosperous Bianjing was captured by the Jin people, the two of them, one was captured and went north, suffering physically and mentally; the other fought in the south and regained lost ground.  But they still miss each other and miss each other.  However, in the past three years, too much has changed In the Kingdom of Jin, Yuan Yuan experienced the murder of relatives one after another, the betrayal of trusted people, and despair and pain.  Even after returning, she became a mean, vicious, loner and alluring woman, but what remains the same¡ªis her desire to restore the country to avenge her shame!  Even when Jin Guo was dying of illness, she had a high fever, and she called "Ninth Brother" with sincerity in her drowsiness, which was all her hope for the restoration of the country, and it also supported her tenacious survival and successful South Korea.  The strong will to escape and return!

However, the old man's heart is changeable!  Zhao Gou, the king of Kang who had ambitions in all directions, has become a castrate who only knows how to seek peace blindly, stays in a corner, is suspicious and cruel, listens to traitors, and kills loyal people under years of hard life and multiple oppressions!

To be precise, the ultimate reason for his insistence on not fighting¡ªis that he feared that once his captured father and brother were brought back, he would take away the throne he had earned so hard!  Therefore, knowing that Qin Hui deliberately framed Yue Fei, he still insisted on going his own way and punished Yue Fei and his son with "unnecessary" crimes.  Even when he knew that his biological mother and queen were clearly going to put Rou Fu to death, they still pushed the boat along and made mistakes, and even said to her with a calm face, "Bitch, who gave you the courage to bully the king?"  No way."

He is indeed ruthless, but he also wants to use the "swapping trick" and use the "Hongxia Phi" that looks similar to Roufu-Han as Roufu's "scapegoat".  It's a pity that all kinds of "negotiations" in the past have already made Roufu give up on "Ninth Brother", and completely despaired of this depressed half of the country!  In the end, the wild geese were frightened and the autumn leaves were falling. She used the poison she had prepared in advance, under his shocked gaze, and in his trembling embrace, sadly ending her life in her early thirties

Speaking of Rou Fu, one has to talk about another important male character in the novel¡ªWanyan Zongjun.  The author mercifully avoids the humiliating fate of Emperor Roufu who was successively suffered by Jin Taizong and Wanyan Zongxian in history. Instead, he regards the eighth son of Wanyan Aguda as Roufu's important support in the Kingdom of Jin.  He looks heroic and proficient in Sinology, but is insidious and cunning, keeping a low profile.  At first, he became interested in Roufu because she was different from ordinary Han women's staunch temperament, and even did not hesitate to fight for her.? Disputes with other dignitaries and offends the patron.  In the process, he gradually developed true feelings for Rou Fu!  After the break between him and Rou Fu was caused by being too unavoidable, he secretly let her go, who wanted to die with all her heart.  Many years later, he went to the Southern Song Palace in person. In order to meet Rou Fu, who had been dubbed the "Long Princess of the Fu Kingdom", he once again risked himself by using the jade pendant that was given to Rou Fu as a token in exchange for seeing her.  It also laid the groundwork for Zhao Gou to use this to collude with the benefactor and execute Zong Jun himself for treason.

After reading the novel, many readers are discussing: Who does Rou Fu love?  Is it the first love "Ninth Brother", or the "Eighth Prince" of the Kingdom of Jin?  The answer¡ªthe debate was fierce!  Because the novel has never directly described any of Rou Fu's psychology, but spent a lot of effort on the psychological description of other characters.

In the novel, there are three men who have true love for Roufu: besides Zhao Gou, who was in love with Roufu when they were young, and they were each other's first love, and Wanyan Zongjun, who had a love-hate relationship with Roufu and hurt each other in the Kingdom of Jin.  After Rou Fu returned to the south, she was forced to marry Gao Shirong, the son-in-law.  All three have feelings for Roufu.  But in my personal opinion, apart from Gao Shirong, neither Zhao Gou nor Zong Jun can love Roufu wholeheartedly!  They value power too much, which eventually leads to loss and miss.

    What about Roufu?

Many people think it is Zhao Gou. After all, "Ninth Brother" is the hero in Roufu's heart and her dream of returning to the country.  There are also many people who think it is Zong Jun, because Rou Fu and Zong Jun have shared weal and woe, Zong Jun also caused her to have a strong hatred for him because of hurting Rou Fu, loveliness and hatred go hand in hand!  After returning to the south, Roufu always has a calm heart and a cold heart, but only the appearance of Zong Jun, even the light mention of his name, can disturb all her emotions and remove all her pretense.  Even though she claimed to hate Zong Juan deeply, after learning that Zong Jun was assassinated by Zhao Gou, she did not show any joy, and was more silent and desolate

This question has been bothering many readers, including me.  I think it's meaningless to simply discuss "Who does she love?"  Whether she loves brother Jiu or Zongjun, can those men really protect her?  No!  !  !  One made her disappointed repeatedly, and eventually she was completely destroyed; the other made her dependent, but turned against each other because of the impermanence of the world.  Perhaps, what she loves is the Song Dynasty and the prosperous years of Bianjing!

Rou Fu is the only one among the delicate Song girls who dares to fight back against the Jin people and call them "gold thieves" in person.  She is patriotic, and when she was trapped in the Northern Kingdom, she read "Zizhi Tongjian" and other books, opened her mind, and thought about the reasons for the subjugation of the country; but deep down in her heart, she regarded Zhao Gou as a life-saving straw, and hoped that he could revitalize the Song Dynasty and bring her back as soon as possible.  Home!  She is patriotic, and after returning to the south by chance, she completely put aside her love for her children, and just admonishes Zhao Gou wholeheartedly, hoping that he can command the Northern Expedition and regain the lost land!

But is a Northern Song Dynasty that is gone, and a Southern Song Dynasty that is in danger, worthy of her love?  Perhaps in the war-torn era, love can only drain thousands of miles of rivers and mountains.  And the love between men and women, already in the struggle between gold and iron horses and power schemes, seems insignificant, as light as a feather, like thin floating smoke, gracefully dissipating into the distance
