"You mean, want to start a dueling club?"

Dumbledore looked at Gilderoy Lockhart who suddenly ran over to him to apply for the Dueling Club in surprise.

"Yes," Lockhart said without hesitation to Dumbledore's idiot-looking eyes, "the murderer who attacked Filch's cat has not been caught yet, so I think the Hogwarts students  , it is necessary to learn some extra ways to protect yourself from me!"

"But, Gilderoy," Dumbledore said with a faint smile in his tone, his eyes narrowed slightly, "It has been almost two months since the last attack."

"Maybe it's because he is afraid of me, an honorary member of the Defense Against the Dark Arts Association!"

Lockhart shook his finger at Dumbledore and said: "But we can't put all our hopes on my reputation, Albus. It is still necessary to increase the self-defense methods of the students."

"Well, you are right, Gilderoy." Dumbledore raised his eyebrows, and the smile in his voice could hardly be suppressed, "I agree, so when do you plan to start?"

"Great!" Lockhart clapped his hands. "How about tomorrow night at eight o'clock? Also, I might need a professor to be my assistant."

    "What do you think, Severus?"

Since Lockhart took the initiative to die, Dumbledore didn't mind digging a hole for him.

"Of course no problem!" Lockhart was very happy, and agreed immediately, "I was planning to find Professor Flitwick, but Snape is also good."

In fact, Lockhart is just saying that, as a former student of Flitwick, he clearly knows that his strength is far inferior to Flitwick, and Professor McGonagall has such old qualifications as Professor Sprout, so  Not within his target range.

    But Professor Snape was different.

First of all, he was about the same age as Lockhart, and Lockhart subconsciously felt that Snape's level would not be higher than his own.

Secondly, although the two colleges and grades are different, they also had intersections when they were in Hogwarts. Lockhart once saw Snape being bullied by the small group of "robbers"  , so he preconceived that Snape was no threat.

Again, in Lockhart's perception, Snape, a professor of potions, should only be good at preparing potions, and he should be relatively average in combat.

In the end, Snape was thin, his face was either sallow or pale, and he looked sickly, so he didn't have to worry that he would knock himself down with his fists like Fish, without even using a wand.

What's more, Snape is one of the four principals, and he is much better than the divination or astronomy professors that Lockhart envisioned before, so that he can bring out his mighty and extraordinary.

Things haven't been easy for Gilderoy Lockhart lately.

He had already lost his authority as a professor among the students because of Fisher's punch before, but at least because Fisher liked to hear his own stories, the others gave Lockhart some face.

However, on Halloween, after Mrs. Norris was petrified, Fisher's attitude towards himself became more subtle. Although he still listened to the stories he told in class, he didn't ask questions as actively as before.

However, Fisher's attitude naturally affected other students. Those who had originally disliked Lockhart began to find fault with him in his classes, which often made him embarrassed.

Lockhart thought for a long time in his office before he realized that it was probably because of his attitude towards Mrs. Norris that night that made Fish unhappy.

The proof is that Filch's attitude towards himself has also changed significantly after that.

That's why Lockhart planned to start a dueling club. Firstly, he wanted to prove himself in front of the students, and secondly, in this way, he changed Fisher's view of himself. After all, the reason he used was to guard against the attacker.

Dumbledore didn't know what Lockhart had in mind, or rather, he didn't care what Lockhart had.

The more a pompous guy like Lockhart does, the more he will reveal his incompetence, and this is exactly what Dumbledore wanted, so as to expose his deception.

The only thing that gave Dumbledore a headache was that the Christmas holidays were not even here. If Lockhart behaved too badly, he might not be able to make it to the end of the school year

Gotta go talk to Severus and tell him to show some mercy.

?After sending Lockhart away, Dumbledore ran to find Snape, okayNo matter what he said, he reluctantly agreed.

So on the second day, there was an extra notice on the dormitories of the four colleges, as well as on the bulletin board in the foyer, informing everyone that dueling clubs would be opened tonight.

No matter which college the students are discussing this matter with great interest.

    "What is the Duel Club?"

    (¡ñ??w??¡ñ)

Fish looked at Seamus with bright eyes, the name sounds very interesting.

"Is it meow that you want everyone to fight together?"

"Ahem not the same, not the same."

Remembering the amazing punch in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class back then, Seamus, who was talking eloquently, choked on his own saliva, and he quickly explained to Fish.

"It's true to say that it's a fight, but everyone can only use magic wands to fight. The comparison is the degree of mastery of the spell. It's a magic duel, not a boxing match."

"Magic duel? Fish knows this meow!"

    ???(¡ñ¦µw¦µ¡ñ)??

Fish said excitedly: "I heard Minerva talk about meow, Felius is good at this!"

The kitty flicked its tail. After hearing so many stories about Professor Flitwick's magic duel, he was also very interested in this matter, but he never had the chance to try itProfessor McGonagall forbade him to go find it.  Other students fight.

Now that there is this opportunity, Fisch will naturally not miss it.

At eight o'clock in the evening, Fish and Harry returned to the auditorium together.

The long dining table has been removed, and a gold-plated stage has appeared along one wall. There are hundreds of candles floating above the stage, illuminating the entire hall brightly.

All the students from the school came to the auditorium, and everyone stood crowded together according to the original long tables of their respective colleges.

"I don't know who will teach us."

Everyone gathered together, chatting and chatting.

"It should be Felius, right? Minerva said he is amazing."

Fish flicked his tail and said excitedly: "Fish has always wanted to fight meow!"

    (¡ñ??w??¡ñ)

"Uh" The surrounding Gryffindors were silent for a moment, and then Sharpe explained to him: "I'm afraid this is unlikely, even if a duel club is opened, it should be a competition between our students.  Responsible for correcting our mistakes."

"It's okay, wait until Fisch defeats you all, and then go challenge Felius, meow!"

    ???(¡ñ¦µw¦µ¡ñ)??

Fish raised his hands high and shouted confidently.

"Well, Fishyou can only use wands in magic duels, not hands."

Ron reminded weakly from the side.

"Of course Fish knows, I'm not a fool, meow!"

Even if he doesn't do it, Fish is confident that he can beat others. He didn't listen to Professor McGonagall's stories for nothing!

Kitty has long been a theoretical dueling master!

Just when everyone was clamoring, Gilderoy Lockhart in a fuchsia robe walked onto the stage, followed by Snape with a gloomy face, and

Professor McGonagall with a serious face
