    ?

The small town in the Northland didn't even have an airport, so Shelley could only get off the plane in the surrounding cities first, and then took a car to this nondescript small town in the northern part of the Northland.

The small town is covered by ice and snow all the year round, and it is white as far as the eye can see.

Shelley wore less clothes, but his heart was burning hot, and there seemed to be a fire burning in his chest.

The town is very small, and there is only one street in the city center. Shelley found the restaurant along the address given to him by the owner of the small shop.

Although the restaurant is decorated simply, it looks like it should be one of the most luxurious restaurants in this small town.

When Shelley opened the door and walked in, there were only three tables of people in the restaurant. It looked like a gathering among middle-aged people. Everyone gathered here and had a cup of coffee.

When Shelley entered the restaurant, he attracted the attention of the people around him almost instantly.

This is a small town with no characteristics. Naturally, few people come here to travel. There are not many outsiders in the town all the year round.

Especially a man with such exquisite appearance as Shelley is even rarer.

Moreover, this person has an indifferent but faintly domineering temperament, which is in conflict with the casual small town atmosphere.

Shelley walked into the restaurant and didn't find a table to sit down. He looked around the shop and saw two paintings hanging in total.

There are three spaces for hanging paintings, one of which still has nails on it, but no paintings.

Shelley was sure that this was the place where the shop owner bought the painting. He walked to the side of the painting, pointed to the painting on the wall, and asked softly, "Excuse me, where did this painting come from."

The waiter was a young girl. She was shocked by Shelley's delicate appearance at first, but after she realized Shelley's question, the girl asked with some vigilance.

"What are you asking these for?"

"I just think the paintings on the wall look good, and I want to find a painter and customize a few paintings for me."

Shelley's smile was gentle, and the girl opposite was obviously attracted by his exquisite appearance, and subconsciously came up with the idea that he was a good person.

    "this"

Just after the girl uttered the word, she was stopped by the boy who had been watching this side.

The boy looked a few years older than the girl, but obviously not more than eighteen years old.

They should all be the children of the owner who runs the restaurant. Their outlines are almost exactly the same. At first glance, they are siblings.

The boy was a few years older than the girl, and he was not affected by Shelley's appearance. He tugged on the girl's sleeve and replied instead of the girl.

"The paintings on our side were all bought during a trip."

Shelley's dark green eyes narrowed slightly, he looked carefully at the boy in front of him, and asked slowly.

"Then, where did you travel and where did you buy it?"

Under his scrutinizing gaze, the boy couldn't help shaking his body, but finally raised his head and said bravely: "I'm traveling to the other side of the earth. As for the store, I have forgotten."

From his first sentence, Shelley could tell that the boy had made up his mind not to tell himself.

But he still listened to everything the boy said silently, and finally turned and left without saying anything.

When Shelley left the restaurant, the girl looked at the boy puzzled.

"Brother, why on earth are you lying to him?"

The boy glanced at his sister and said, "Didn't Mr. He Yi'an tell us that if someone asks where this painting came from, they must say that they don't know."

The younger sister is a few years younger than him, and she also knew that Mr. He Yi'an had said this before, but she couldn't help but said, "But this gentleman seems to be a good person, if you tell him Mr. He Yi'an's address, it shouldn't matter.  .¡±

The boy couldn't stand his nympho younger sister. He rolled his eyes and persuaded, "Do you think that all the bad people in this world will have their faces carved clearly to show that they are bad people?"

"Listen to me, if this man continues to ask you questions, you can tell him what I just said."

Seeing his sister's puzzled expression, the boy knew that she was obviously focused on Shelley just now, and didn't know or hear anything, so he repeated what he said just now.

He and Shelley guessed right, the two children did come to help the adults at home during the holidays.

? At two o'clock in the afternoon, before it was time to get off work, the boy pushed the bicycle and walked from the restaurantface came out.

Get on your bike and head towards the residential area.

Shelley had been waiting in the car for several hours. When he saw the boy going out, he pointed to the back of the boy riding a bicycle, and said lightly, "Follow the man in front."

The driver nodded. The car was rented locally, but the driver was brought over from Belgium.

The driver is obviously experienced, and it seems that he has some special skills to do such a thing.

He chased after the boy from a distance, but did not expose himself.

The boy was also innocent, he never thought of such a thing, and rode forward slowly.

When the boy stopped, Shelley asked the driver to stop under a tree not far from the boy.

This distance is just right, he can see the boy's movements, but the boy can't see him.

Even if he looked over, if he didn't look carefully, he wouldn't find that there were two people in the car looking in his direction.

I saw the boy parked in front of the door of a villa, he parked his bicycle safely aside, and then stepped forward and knocked on the door of the villa.

It was a small wooden villa. It was not very big, but it was more cozy. The second floor looked very small, and there should be only one bedroom.

The windows were covered with striped curtains, so it was hard to see what kind of space was inside, but it could be seen from the trees and decorations around the villa.

This is the home of a person who knows how to live. Even a house of this size can be run in a decent manner.

At first, no one heard the boy's knock on the door. After waiting for a while, the boy knocked on the door again.

Shelley looked at the door, and he pressed a little nervously on the back of the chair in front of him, his fingers turned white, enough to see how much effort he had used.

The door was opened, and a young woman walked out from the door. The young woman was wearing a simple sweater, with a slender figure, long red hair softly draped over her shoulders, and her fair skin turned red from the wind. She smiled.  Looking at the boy at the door, the two exchanged a few words.

After seeing the woman coming out of the door, Shelley was extremely disappointed. He seemed to be a person who was about to climb to the entrance of the cave but suddenly fell back in. He was extremely desperate.

His hand subconsciously caressed the bloody painting beside him.

After a night of tossing, the blood has dried up.

When his fingers touched it, he felt that the blood had solidified, as if it had merged with the paint below.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
