"On November 8, 2005, Comedy Central's World News headquarters in New York City brings to you, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."

As soon as the narration at the beginning ended, the TV rang with excited shouts from the audience. Jon Stewart was sitting behind the host's glass desk. He couldn't help but laugh at the beginning, and the audience couldn't stop shouting.

"Welcome to the Daily Show. Yes, our guest tonight isYe Wei!" Jon's words made the audience even more excited. He raised his pen and shouted quickly: "But before that, we still have many exciting things.  content, what a night!¡±

    The audience booed.

    ¡¡

Ye Wei is on fire!  Much more popular than at any personal peak.

"VIY", which was broadcast on the IFC channel on October 30, received very good ratings. An average of 1.37 million family viewers across the United States watched the documentary that night. Not only did it not hold back, it was an excellent result for the period.

"VIY" has also received high praise. More than 4,000 users have rated it on IMDb, with a score of 7.8. Whether it is a documentary or a movie promotion, it is a high score.

The day after its premiere, "VIY" appeared on the Internet on time, and it can be seen on any video sharing website.  Within a week, the number of hits on YouTube exceeded 500,000. If the hits on IFilm and other places are added up, the number has exceeded 1 million. VIY is exploding in popularity.

"A documentary about a 17-year-old boy can easily be meaningless and unconvincing. However, "VIY" is truly moving, with wonderful twists and turns. It tells a very positive story and introduces Ye Wei who is persistent in pursuing his dreams. It is worth watching.  ¡± ¨C Yahoo Movies

"There is no dull preaching, no false flattery. With real image data and Ye Wei's amazing achievements, the documentary is almost exciting throughout. It is also not shy about covering up Ye Wei's controversial aspects, which is the best part."  ¡ª¡ªTV.  com

¡°There are many things in the film that are unclear, but the part that is revealed is a good explanation of Ye Wei¡¯s extraordinary magic.¡± - Metacritic

The review media gave it high marks, and the comment areas on various websites were also filled with praises from ordinary viewers.

Elka100 praised: "Because of this movie, I became a fan of VIY. I hope I have such a friend by my side. He is great." Aleks-K said excitedly: "VIY's speech, VIY's movie,  VIY¡¯s character, what¡¯s the reason not to love him? Looking forward to the release of "Little Miss Sunshine" to create even greater miracles!" Obey27 said: "You can watch it several times in a row, Ye Wei and the others are young people.  model."

Peckpeck said seriously: "I wouldn't say they are cool. Our cool kid culture makes our children achieve nothing. Doing nothing but doing bad things is the coolest thing. Like Ye Wei, they want to do big things and do the right thing."  It¡¯s so dope. These nerds shocked the world and the cool kids said, they suck.¡±

"I have never quite understood why Ye Wei is called a genius. "VIY" answers this question. I know he works hard, but he is really talented!" DCastor said.  "Everyone knows that racial ceilings are real in life. Recently we have all seen that VIY has suffered a lot of bullying. His success is so respectable." Fett1138 said.

¡°VIY is really super hot! I want to date him!¡± CatherineDers said.  Lanzerl said: "No one can stop me from watching "Little Miss Sunshine", not even Ye Wei!"

"VIY" is undoubtedly a success, it has really brought publicity effect to LMS and attracted more fans for Ye Wei.

Because of the Internet, people not only in North America but all over the world can see it without piracy. For example, the Chinese Internet has resources that day, and many subtitle groups are competing to produce subtitles, which is also very lively.  The world knows VIY not only through documentaries, but also through a more popular way, "Exorcism Video"!

Tuesday, November 1st is Halloween, so TET has already landed in multiple overseas markets during the weekend, including Australia, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, etc.

DreamWorks¡¯ overseas distribution is a form of cooperation, usually between Universal Pictures and a local distribution company. Of course, a phenomenal film like TET will not have to worry about finding a distributor or publicity.  In fact, countless young people overseas have been waiting for it for a long time.

TET¡¯s overseas performance was good in its first week. The overall evaluation and reputation were similar to those in North America. The box office did not suffer a setback, and it took in $31.79 million during the fierce Halloween period.  This number is in line with the estimates of the institutions, because it has already entered all the ticket warehouses, and there is no room for it to explode again. It is basically moving smoothly towards the total estimated number of $70-80 million.

The global box office of this pseudo-documentary horror film will almost certainly exceed US$200 million. It will be difficult to surpass the US$248 million of "Blair Witch" (US$108 million overseas), but it has truly scared the world.

For DreamWorks, not much revenueIt seems to just warm my heart, but this year's "Nightmare Factory" is not over yet.

"Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" (budget $30 million), released on October 5, performed mediocrely. So far, it has only made over $50 million at the North American box office, but its overseas box office has exceeded $100 million, with a 95% freshness rating and a 79%  Likeability ensures that the DVD will sell well, will not lose money, and will preserve the reputation of DreamWorks Animation.

"Dream Run" (budget $32 million), released on October 21, was very bad. After two weeks, it only had a measly $19.02 million at the North American box office, which is just over $30 million at most.  But its reputation is not bad, with 64% freshness and 78% love. For Dakota Fanning's sake, be more tolerant.

The poor box office performance of two films with good reputations exposed the moribund state of DreamWorks. After repeated misfortunes in the first three quarters of this year, its finances were no longer able to support the amount of publicity it gave to these two films.  Most of the money is spent on LMS.

But how much work has such a weak DreamWorks actually done?  How vigorous can the cooperation and promotion in theaters be after LMS is released?

These are the concerns that analysts have about the LMS box office, and they are also the reasons why the outside world is increasingly not optimistic about its North American box office exceeding $100 million.  Even if the reviews are very good, once it suffers from poor distribution, the box office will not be much better, and $70 million will start to feel far away.

If it weren¡¯t for Ye Wei¡¯s popularity, dream cast, and buzz, it would have been worth $50 million.

Ye Wei is on fire!  The recent release of LMS has become more and more popular. The latest issue of the famous magazine "Entertainment Weekly" this week has an exclusive interview with Ye Wei, talking about his personal life and LMS.

"Entertainment Weekly": As a teenage director, how do you get along with the stars?

Ye Wei: Very good.  Of course there were a lot of difficulties, especially in the beginning, because it seems like everyone on set is more experienced than you are, even Breslin has been on more sets than I am.  But everyone was very professional and took good care of me, which made me understand that things are not complicated, and I just have to do my job well.

"Entertainment Weekly": What was the most difficult thing during the filming period?  The funniest thing?

Ye Wei: The most difficult and the most interesting thing are the same thing. Many people come to visit the class.  I welcome each one of them, and I am also afraid of each one of them, because someone visiting the class means that time will be wasted that day, and those unintentional mistakes will lead to more NGs, which is equivalent to stabbing me several times.  And the funny thing is, they all bring life, joy and food to the set and keep us from going crazy, so I still welcome them, especially those who bring food.

"Entertainment Weekly": What do you think of the recent controversy you have encountered?  Do you think it's unfairly racist?

Ye Wei: I don¡¯t care too much about these. When I fight, I will fight hard, but you can¡¯t live with a victim mentality, that will give you many reasons.  Life is never easy. If it is fair, I will like it. If it is unfair, I will treat the game I am playing as more difficult and use actions to change it.

"Entertainment Weekly": What does LMS mean to you?  What are the expectations?

Ye Wei: I don¡¯t know how to answer, because it just means this. It¡¯s too much and too heavy to explain clearly.  If I have to use an analogy, it¡¯s like my child. I just want it to be healthy and successful, and hope that it can express its own meaning, not compete with anyone, just bloom by itself.

    ¡¡

"Welcome back, our guest tonight is!"

On the Comedy Central channel on TV, after the commercial, Jon Stewart had just started to speak, and the audience was already shouting excitedly. Jon slapped the desk angrily and shouted: "Be reserved, ladies! Watch first."  Watch the video.¡±

After the program played a trailer from LMS, it cut back to the studio. Jon laughed and shouted: "Welcome the director of "Little Miss Sunshine", Ye Wei!"

Bright sound effects sounded, and the audience shouted louder. It seemed that many people stood up. When a tall and handsome Asian boy walked out from the left side of the studio, the audience shouted in unison: "VIY! VIY!  VIY!¡±

It has been a year and a half since Ye Wei first appeared on "The Daily Show". His appearance has become more mature, wearing a fashionable jacket and slacks, with a smile on his face, youthful handsomeness, and masculine masculinity.  He waved to the audience and greeted Jon who stood up and smiled to say hello, all showing calmness.

The two then sat down, Ye Wei sat on the left side of the host table, and Qiao Qiaoen sat on the right side behind the table.

    The audience finally calmed down.
