1. We want to escape the fictional world!

This gap in teaching and disregard for concrete realities creates enormous difficulties for those who wish to benefit the economy and society.
2. We oppose the unrestrained use of mathematics!
The use of mathematics as a tool seems necessary, but when mathematics ceases to be a tool and becomes an end in itself, resorting to mathematical formalization can lead to a real schizophrenia about the real world. Formalization makes it easy to construct problems and manipulate models, but the significance of models is limited to finding "good results" for writing "an excellent paper". Under the guise of science, this practice is good for evaluation and selection, but it can never answer the questions we ask about modern economic debates.
3£® We demand diversification of economic methods
Usually, questioning of the teaching content is not allowed. Of all the methods of studying existing economic problems, generally only one is available to us. This method relies on pure axiomatic formulas and claims to be able to explain anything, as if this is the so-called economic truth. We do not accept this dogmatism. In order to adapt to the complexity of the research objects and deal with the uncertainties involved in many major issues in economic life, such as unemployment, inequality, financial market positioning, the advantages and disadvantages of free trade, globalization, economic development, etc., we need a a diversified approach.
4£® Calling on teachers: wake up as soon as possible!
We are fully aware that our professors are subject to certain constraints. However, we appeal to everyone who understands our plea and wants change. If major reforms are not implemented immediately, the risk is that the shrinking number of economics students will abandon the field altogether, not because they have lost interest in economics but because they are isolated from today's outside of the realities and arguments of the world.
We no longer want this so-called science that is divorced from reality to be forced upon us.
We are not creating something out of nothing, we just hope that good ideas will become more popular.
