    "Aim and fire!"

    "Boom boom"

Accompanied by violent roars.  Heavy shells flew out of the barrel of the thick and stubby C-type 150mm self-propelled infantry gun one after another, and flew towards the intended target - a four-story building on Ryazan Street.  Soon, fiery red and dazzling fireworks formed on the east exterior wall of the building.  This is the first time that the most common self-propelled artillery in the armored forces of the Wehrmacht has been used to bombard ordinary buildings.  It was also the first time it was used in street fighting.  All the gunners showed extra effort, because this building on Ryazan Street houses at least one battalion of the Red Army. If this house is not blown down, no one knows how many infantry lives it will take to capture it.  .  Everyone held their breath, and we must not let more infantry brothers fall on the last stretch of the road to victory.  The shells flew past as if they had eyes, and they all hit the outer wall of the building.

At this time, Lieutenant General Hu Lian, deputy commander of the 6th Armored Corps of the 2nd Armored Group of the Chinese Army, was standing on an armored command vehicle not far from these C-type self-propelled infantry guns, looking at these through the telescope in his hand.  The scene was clear to see.  While looking at it, he nodded slightly: "Not bad, the shot was very accurate. He is worthy of being a veteran who has fought in the world war for several years." After saying that, he looked back at the commander of the 12th Panzergrenadier Division who was standing next to him.  Xie Jinyuan: "Deploy a few more 150-meter self-propelled infantry artillery to attack, and we must destroy that building!"

In just fifteen minutes, half of the building that was hit first collapsed with a loud bang, but the other half of the building still stood firm and refused to fall.  Obviously the Soviet gcd is still very concerned about the quality of construction projects.  Seeing the half-collapsed building, Hu Lian ordered the bombardment to stop and let the grenadiers launch a wave of offensive.  At the same time, he pointed to a building on the other side of Ryazan Street: "All the cannons will bomb this one."

So, more than a dozen 150-meter self-propelled artillery placed on Ryazan Street turned their muzzles and started bombarding another building.  Then the black stalker tank destroyers started to move.  They started roaring and crawling forward like angry rhinos.  The tracks made of steel pressed against the hard asphalt road, making bursts of harsh sounds.  The grenadiers of the brigade, carrying Type 31 automatic rifles with their waists bent, followed them cautiously, for fear that raindrops of machine gun bullets would hit them.  Fortunately, this didn't happen right away. They didn't encounter machine guns at first, and they didn't even fire rifles.

¡°Obviously, the Soviet Red Army was petrified by their method of using large-caliber self-propelled artillery to directly bombard buildings.  At least the Soviet troops holding on to this building had been bombarded by artillery and had little fighting spirit.  Now they saw a dozen Stalkers covering hundreds of infantry rushing toward them, and they forgot to resist for a moment.  But this shock did not last long, when they found that the stairs going downstairs had been blasted by Chinese artillery shells.  Most of the Soviet officers and soldiers had no choice but to resist.  But they don't have many anti-tank weapons in their hands, because their troops were withdrawn from the defense line outside the city and have lost all their heavy weapons. Now they can only use a few Simonov anti-tank guns to attack  Chinese army tank destroyer.  However, the armor-piercing capability of this anti-tank gun with a caliber of 14.5mm is insufficient.  It can only penetrate 40mm armor at a distance of 100 meters.  There is no way it can deal with the Stalker's 60mm frontal armor.

With a few crisp sounds of "Boom! Boom!", all the Chinese tanks stopped advancing. The stalker's 75mm cannons raised their muzzles and fired a fierce blast at the place where they had just fired.  At the same time, the grenadiers of the Chinese army also began to charge. As they rushed forward, they fired with Type 31 automatic rifles to suppress the Soviet firepower. There were also several snipers using sniper rifles who fired at a distance.  Gun shooting.  The Soviets also knew that they were at a critical moment of life and death, so they began to use all the firepower in their hands to fire at the charging Chinese infantry.  Hoping to delay their attack.  For a time, Ryazan Street was filled with smoke.  The battle has entered a fever pitch.

On Trotsky Street north of Ryazan Street, fierce street fighting was also taking place.  This is the main road in eastern Moscow. It is very open. The buildings on both sides are far away from the road, making it impossible to block the road with machine gun fire.  Therefore, the Soviet army dragged several trams to the street and pushed them down to block traffic. They also filled the carriages with sand, soil and gravel to form a solid "breast wall". They also dragged in seven or eight 76.2mm anti-tanks.  The guns were mounted behind the "breastworks".  There is also a whole regiment of Soviet infantry and thousands of Red Guards relying on this "breast wall" and the barricades on the sidewalks on both sides to hold on.

After the Chinese tanks and infantry assaulted the wide Trotsky Street, they immediately launched an attack on the Soviet defense line.  The Soviet troops guarding here were all elite, and a brutal battle soon took place. Anti-tank guns, anti-tank grenade launchers, cluster grenades, explosive packs and Molotov cocktails, everything that could come in handyThe weapons were all used by Soviet soldiers in the blocking battle against the Chinese armored groups.  However, there was a huge disparity in strength between the two sides. Even though the Soviet officers and soldiers sacrificed themselves at all costs, they still could not stop the Chinese army's Leopard tank destroyers from using their 88mm cannon to blast through the "breast wall" made of trams and sand and stones.  The Chinese infantry came like a tide.  Seeing that the defense line was not secure, many Soviet soldiers simply raised their rifles with bayonets, shouted "Ula!" and launched a countercharge, trying to resist the Chinese attack with their flesh and blood.

Seeing this scene, Wei Lihuang, whose arm was still hanging with gauze around his neck, couldn't help but cursed: "Damn it, at this time, these old idiots are still so stubborn! What is this Moscow going to do?  It¡¯s time!¡±

Zhang Zhonglin, who was commanding the armored troops next to him, sneered: "Sir, the old guys in front of me are no longer stubborn. I think the guys I met when I was fighting the Khujand Fortress were really stubborn. The fortress was all blown to the ground."  Moreover, they were attacked from both sides, and they refused to surrender! How can it be like now? Moscow has only been fighting for less than half a month, and hundreds of thousands of prisoners have been captured, and even entire divisions have surrendered! I think this Moscow is the best  Wait until September."

When the two people were talking, the hand-to-hand combat ahead was coming to an end. Although there were still a few Russians holding Mosin-Nagant rifles who were still fighting bravely, the overall situation could no longer be saved.  When a flag with blue sky and white sun and red ground was erected on the collapsed "breast wall", cheers of "Long Live" erupted on the battlefield.  The Soviet prisoners of war in the brigade were quickly taken down, and all of them looked depressed and listless.

However, Wei Lihuang and Zhang Zhonglin were not happy for long, because they soon discovered that another "breast wall" also made of trams and sand and gravel blocked the way to the Red Square.  Obviously there are many identical "breast walls" on the entire Trotsky Avenue, but how long can these "breast walls" withstand?

This day is when it gets dark on August 19, 1936.  Trotsky walked out of his bunker beneath the Kremlin. This was the first time he had walked out of the bunker since the beginning of the defense of Moscow, and it was also the last time he left his lair.  This former great man already looked a bit old. His face was pale and swollen, his hands were shaking slightly unconsciously, and his eyes were numb and lifeless, just like a walking corpse.  The Kremlin, which was destroyed by a nuclear bomb, was right next to him, but he didn't even look at it. He just looked at an SB-2 fast bomber parked on the Red Square - as long as he got on this plane,  You can leave this hellish place in Moscow!

But what happens after you leave?

Trotsky did not dare to think about it anymore. He knew that he was about to fall off the altar. Once he fell from his position, the only consequence would be to be shattered to pieces!  If you die in Moscow before you completely lose your godhood, future revolutionaries may still regard you as a martyr. If you leave Moscow and have someone pull you off the altar before you die, you may be nothing.  !

Thinking of this, he withdrew his gaze, shook hands with Vacetis and Pavlov in front of him, and whispered: "The north and the Ural region will be left to you. You must resist as much as possible. If it doesn't work, retreat to gc  Let¡¯s go to Fort Ism.¡±

Vacetis and Pavlov looked at each other, not knowing what to say to Trotsky. They could only stand at attention, respectfully gave Trotsky the last military salute, and then turned around and  Got the plane.  After watching the plane take off and disappear into the vast night, the great leader of gcism sighed, returned to his bunker without saying a word, and never left there again.

One week later, on August 26, 1936, the Soviet state news agency TASS issued a statement in the most painful tone to the proletarians of the world, announcing that the great leader, great mentor, and great standard-bearer of the Soviet and proletarians around the world, Lev David  Dovich Trotsky died heroically in the battle to defend Moscow, the capital of the Soviet Union, at noon that day!

Three days later, the Kremlin bunker, the last stronghold of the Soviet Red Army in Moscow, was captured by Chinese and German forces.  However, the two men who broke into the bunker did not find Trotsky's remains. The only evidence that the gcist leader was dead was the confession of several staff around Trotsky.  According to them, Trotsky decided to commit suicide immediately on the morning of August 26 when he learned that the German army had stormed within 3 kilometers of the Kremlin bunker. He swallowed cyanide and then shot himself with a pistol.  temple, and died on the spot.  His body was then cremated immediately to avoid falling into the hands of the Chinese and German armies.  (To be continued)
