    All of this supports the view that further study of the Dogon culture may provide a very important template for understanding the wide variety of modern anthropological, archaeological science, and religion.

    According to most experts, Western civilization originated in 4000 BC. The earliest beginning was the suddenly prosperous Sumerian civilization in southern Iraq, the Pharaonic civilization of Egypt soon after, and of course the Central Plains civilization of the Chinese nation.

    But, gradually, this view has begun to be questioned. Recent discoveries have overturned almost all previously known human history.

    In 1973, a team of archaeologists made a major discovery while traveling through a very remote area in southern Egypt. They were relying on a compass to travel in an inaccessible wilderness called Nabtabunaya.  When they stopped to drink water and rest, they found some broken pottery pieces at their feet.

    The frequent appearance of pottery shards suggested that this was an archaeological object worthy of excavation, so the archaeological team returned soon and resumed the investigation.

    After several years of excavation, they finally realized that Nabtapurnaya was not just another Neolithic settlement. The breakthrough discovery came when they saw what appeared to be a rock outcrop, but it turned out to be  It's actually a standing boulder building.

    They also found smaller rocks in a circle. In the photo, these rocks look like abandoned rocks. Not far from these rocks, there are huge megalithic buildings, which stand on a very open flat land.

    This windswept place is deserted today, but thousands of years ago, it had abundant water, greenery, and four distinct seasons. At least, there should have been many people living here.

    Today we humans only know that the Stonehenge of Nabtapurnaya is a pile of randomly placed stones. Long ago, someone moved them here from a quarry that we still don¡¯t know about. But for what purpose?

    By Fred Wendorf, one of the discoverers of Nabtapurnaya andHe is also an experienced archaeologist. The archaeological team he led later discovered many handicrafts. The age of their production can be determined based on the carbon emissions in these handicrafts.

    Some of them were produced in 10,000 BC, and some were produced in 3,000 BC, but most of them were concentrated in 6,000 BC. The weather at that time was much wetter than now.

    Nabtapurnaya is a basin that is now filled with seasonal lakes. Excavations eight to twelve feet below the sediment suggest that some of the boulders may have been intentionally buried.

    The archaeological team also discovered some strange carvings on the bedrock beneath the sediment, evidence of great ancient history

    Using maps and global positioning systems, archaeologists have identified an area containing twenty-five giant stone formations. Other Stonehenges are still being identified.

    Fortunately, the remoteness of this area has protected it from human destruction

    Although the surveying and mapping data implied certain astronomical features, the Wendorf team still found nothing in searching for key issues that could decipher this area.

    They later published their results in a book edited by Wendorf titled Holocene Subsidence in the Egyptian Sahara. The two-volume study was readable  Very interesting, but its author rarely has the answers

    However, while Wendorf's book was still under review, Thomas Brophy, a former NASA physicist, quietly began his own astronomical research on Nabtapurnaya.

    Brophy had already reviewed the meager data published in Nature, and when Wendorf's more detailed data were published, his still-unfamiliar theory began to take shape.

    Later, Brophy published his findings in the book "Primitive Maps". Because the existing astronomy software was not ideal, Brophy also specially customized a special software he needed.

    In this way, he tracked the movements of celestial bodies in Nabtapurnaya for thousands of years, and successfully deciphered the stone circles near Stonehenge.

    This "calendar circle" has a built-in longitude line and a visible line, both of which are very obvious. This made Brophy realize that this circle was a crude observatory used by ancient people to observe the stars.

    Its design is so simple that even a novice can use it

    A night observatory from 6400 BC to 4900 BC stood at the northern end of the meridian axis, allowing him to align the three stones at his feet in the shape of Orion overhead.

    The echoes between earth and heaven are clear: the arrangement of the three stones and their outer circle reflects the precise position of the stars in Orion¡¯s famous belt just before the summer solstice.

    Brophy believes that Robert Bovar and Adrian Gilbert are correct in at least part of their conclusions in their book "The Mystery of Orion"

    These two scholars believe that there is a similar architectural design in Giza. Bauval and Gilbert believe that the pyramids in Giza reflect the sky, and they also reflect the three stars on Orion's belt on the ground.

    So the evidence here in Nabtapurnaya proves a common astronomical question that surprises us, which is that astronomy has actually been around for a long, long time.

    Here are some reference data, modern astronomy is about 500 years old, and the astronomical tradition of both Giza and Nabtapurnaya is at least 6000 to 7000 years old, maybe even longer

    The similar astronomy between them also hints at a similar cultural tradition

    In fact, Wendorf¡¯s archaeological team has accumulated a large amount of evidence that proves that there is a lot of overlap between the Neolithic civilization of Nabta and the Pharaonic civilization of the Old Kingdom of Egypt when the construction of the pyramids reached its peak much later.

    What¡¯s more interesting is that Flinders Spider, one of the founders of Egyptology more than a century ago, also came to a similar conclusion

    Brophy's research on the distribution of other nearby boulders is even more surprising. Brophy believes that the other boulders may be a celestial map. The astronomical knowledge required to create this celestial map is comparable to the astronomical knowledge we humans have today.  Up and down, and possibly beyond us

    Of course, this view of Brophy is very doubtful, but his research work is still worthy of our close attention, because if he is right, it means that we do not understand our past at all

      What do the boulders of Nabtapurnaya tell us?  Their designers placed them in a straight line radiating from a central center. The design had a simple star coordinate system that assigned two stones to each star.

    A stone corresponds to the star itself, marking the star's appearance on the horizon with Sun 1 at the vernal equinox, that is, rising with the sun on the first day of spring

    The other stone corresponds to the star's reference star, in this case Vega, thus determining the rise of the previous star on a specific day in history.

    In archaeoastronomy, it is considered highly questionable to mark stars with only one stone, because if the stars were above the horizon or a few degrees before or after the horizon at any given time, it would be marked by only one stone.  single symbol to mark

    But after a period of time, many other stars will also appear in this position. The designers of Nabtapurnaya used the special characteristics of Vega and the sun rising at the vernal equinox to eliminate this uncertainty, especially the latter.  Usually a star only appears once every 26,000 years

    In this way, the rising time of the star is determined. Vega is a very reasonable choice because at this early stage it is the fifth brightest star in the sky and dominates the northern sky.

    Brophy also found that six of the boulders echoed the six main stars of the constellation Orion. This discovery also confirmed his speculation about the nearby "calendar circle"

    The placement of these stones marks the sunrise of these stars at the vernal equinox, which occurred during the twenty years around 6300 BC. The second set of reference stones marks the sunrise of Vega, which occurred at the autumnal equinox.

    Therefore, in the 7th century BC, the Nabta Plain was a very busy place

    By using a necessary statistical method, Brophy calculated that the probability that Nabta's Stonehenge was formed randomly was only 2 in 1,000,000.

    Therefore, he writes: "This is a thousand times higher than the three standard deviations we usually use to accept a scientific hypothesis as a definite fact."

    So the only reasonable explanation is that the Celestial Stonehenge in Nabtapurnaya was carefully planned and not an accident

    Brophy was puzzled by the fact that the distances between the boulders of Nabta'a were not uniform from the central point, and he wrote: "If these various distances had not served a purpose, one might expect the skilled Nabta'a  The designers used a more pleasing arrangement There must be some special meaning to the arrangement of these distances."

    Students of the Giza researchers often say that every detail of the famous pyramids was no accident. Every angle, every relationship, and every orientation had a definite purpose.

    Brophy¡¯s point of view is undoubtedly that Nabtapurnaya is the same. So, what do the different distances between these boulders and the center point mean?

    After considering many options, is it just for fun?  This is the same as those experts from TD who said hide and seek is dead.

    Brophy concluded: Is it possible that these distances on the ground are proportional to the actual distances between the stars and the earth?  Brophy was stunned when he looked at the best current measurements, made by the Hipparcos space astronomy satellite.

    Each group of them agrees within one standard deviation. The ratio between the two is that one meter on Nab Tower equals exactly 799 light-years.

    This agreement is, as Brophy wrote, "more surprising than surprising", because even using modern science and technology to measure the distance between celestial bodies is a very complicated and imperfect matter.

    The best measurements so far can only be regarded as approximately or close to each other. Brophy's conclusion on this point reiterates his previous point: "If the purpose of the distances on the Nabtapurnaya map is to reflect the distances between celestial bodies,  distance, and if this is not a coincidence, then what we previously thought we knew about prehistoric human civilization must be overturned and re-examined."

    Brophy believed that information such as the relative distances of stars and their convergence were encoded in Stonehenge by the Nabtabunians.

    He also believed that the small rocks next to the foundation stones of some of the boulders represented companion stars, or even planetary systems. Unfortunately, in our current access to the universe, modern astronomy is not yet fully capable of observing objects the size of Earth.  planet

    But such research is currently accelerating. There are many projects as big as Jupiter.The superstar has been discovered, and our problem-solving abilities continue to improve. Perhaps we will soon know whether Brophy's speculation is correct.

    So the question is, should governments in various countries stop taking out textbooks from 20 years ago or physics books from 10 years ago to educate children?

    There is not much difference between mastering wrong knowledge and ignorance.

    There are other surprises about Nabtapurnaya. What initially attracted the attention of the Wendorf team was a complex monolith placed at the center of the galaxy map.

    A huge boulder was deposited just at the central point, surrounded by other boulders. There were also a large number of other stone piles nearby. They looked like grave mounds. The archaeological team excavated two of them. They had expected to find  Some skeletal remains were found inside.

    However, they dug twelve feet into the Holocene strata, all the way down to the bedrock, and found only some strange carved images. They never explained the discovery.

    Later, Brophy re-examined these images based on his deciphering of the galaxy map, and he was once again shocked. He realized that whoever created Nabtapurnaya must have had knowledge of the matter.  Advanced knowledge of the Milky Way galaxy

    From the outside, these carvings on the rock base look like a scaled map of the Milky Way, drawn from an arctic perspective.

    This map correctly marks the azimuth range, the direction of the sun, the location of the spiral arms, the galactic center, and even the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy, which was only discovered by humans in 1994.

    Although Wendorf damaged the surface stone in the process of excavating the underground statue, Brophy was able to learn from Wendorf's precise diagrams
