The closer Zhiqiu gets, the more she can feel the anger and aggressive momentum suppressed under her calm surface.  Her steps are strong and sonorous, and her toned body exudes a dark glow due to long-term exposure to the sun.

"Momo," Chen Luoyu whispered as soon as she came over, "On behalf of all the staff of the research center, I would like to express my deepest condolences for the death of your father. This is a huge loss in the history of scientific development"

Momo nodded gratefully and replied in fluent and standard English with a hoarse voice: "Do you know who did it?"

    "We are investigating."

She turned to Zhiqiu and stretched out a slender hand.  "My name is Momo, I think you are sent by Interpol, right?"

Zhiqiu held her jade hand and looked at her deep, tearful eyes, as if he was possessed for a moment.  "My name is Zhiqiu." He didn't know what else to say.

"Zhiqiu is not an official," Chen Luoyu explained, "He is a detective who came specifically to help us investigate the truth."

Momo was a little confused.  "Where are the police?"

Chen Luoyu took a long breath and remained silent.

"Where is the body?" she asked.

    "Being cared for."

    This white lie surprised Zhiqiu.

"I want to take a look." Momo continued.

"Momo," Chen Luoyu said earnestly, "Although your father was brutally murdered, you must keep his past voice and smile in your mind."

Momo was about to speak but was interrupted.

"Hi, Momo!" A greeting came from afar.  "Welcome back!"

She turned around and saw a group of scientists coming from the airport, waving to her happily.

¡°Another theory refuted?¡± one of them yelled.

Another person said: "Your father will be proud of you!"

As they passed by, Momo waved to them mechanically.  She turned around and looked at Chen Luoyu.  A look of confusion.  "No one knows yet?"

¡°I think it¡¯s crucial to be cautious at this time.¡±

"You actually didn't tell your colleagues that my father was murdered?" Her doubts were swept away and she suddenly became angry.

Chen Luoyu's tone immediately became tougher: "Momo. Don't forget that once I disclose the news of your father's death to the outside world, the institute will immediately be investigated, and your father's laboratory will also be doomed. You must know that I have always been there.  Try your best to protect your father's **. Regarding your current project, your father only told me two things. First, in the next ten years, just issuing a technology license for this achievement will bring hundreds of millions of dollars to the institute.  100 million in income. Secondly, this is a very dangerous technology that is not yet ready to be made public. Therefore, I don¡¯t want to get involved in his laboratory, nor do I want others to steal his experimental results. I don¡¯t want to see these artificial  So we kill each other. I am responsible for the institute, do you understand?"

Momo stared angrily, but was speechless.  From her words, Zhiqiu felt that her respect and acceptance of Chen Luoyu's logic was a bit reluctant.

¡°Before we disclose any information to the officials,¡± Chen Luoyu continued.  "I want to know what you two are up to, so I want you to take us to your lab."

"The laboratory has nothing to do with this," Momo shouted. "No one knows what my father and I are doing. My father's death has nothing to do with this experiment."

Chen Luoyu breathed out anxiously.  ¡°Facts speak louder than words, evidence speaks for itself.¡±

    "Evidence? What evidence?"

Zhiqiu also had the same question in his heart.

Chen Luoyu bit his lip again and said, "You have to believe me."

Momo stared at Chen Luoyu with anger in her eyes.  Obviously, she didn't believe Chen Luoyu at all.

Zhiqiu quietly followed Momo and Chen Luoyu and returned to the main hall together.  Zhiqiu¡¯s strange journey begins here.  Momo's springy pace¡ªlike an Olympic diver¡ªcontains extraordinary strength.  Zhiqiu firmly believes that this strength is undoubtedly due to the flexibility, coordination and stability that yoga emphasizes.  He could hear her breathing calmly, as if she was using it to filter out the infinite sorrow in her heart.

Zhiqiu wanted to express her sympathy by saying a few words of comfort to her.  He understood her current mood very well.  Because he had also experienced the sudden loss of his father.  He still remembered the funeral. It was rainy and dark, and it was the third day after his twelfth birthday.  The house was full of my father¡¯s colleagues in gray uniforms.thing.  They shook his hand, clasped his hand tightly, and murmured about heart failure and stress.  His mother joked with tears in her eyes that just by holding her husband's hand, she could read what was going on in the stock markethis pulse was like her private stock ticker.

When her father was still alive, Zhiqiu once heard her mother keep talking, asking her father to "stop and enjoy the flowers." So that year Zhiqiu bought a Christmas gift for her father, a small blooming flower.  The glass rose is the most beautiful thing Zhiqiu has ever seen When the sun shines on it, it casts a colorful light on the wall.  As soon as his father opened the gift, he couldn't help but kiss his forehead.  "It's so cute!" He praised repeatedly, "We need to find a safe place to put it." My father searched around and finally found a dusty shelf in the darkest corner of the living room, and carefully put it on the shelf.  Glass roses are placed on top.  Within a few days, Zhiqiu moved a stool, took off the flower, and returned it to the store. His father did not even notice that the flower was missing.

The "bang" of the elevator brought Zhiqiu back to reality.  Momo and Chen Luoyu walked in front and stepped into the elevator.  Zhiqiu looked at the open elevator door and hesitated.

"What's wrong?" Chen Luoyu asked, with a hint of concern in his tone, but more importantly still impatient.

¡°It¡¯s nothing.¡± Zhiqiu said while forcing himself to walk into that space.  He would use the elevator only when he was in an emergency and had no choice but to use the elevator. In most cases, spacious and free stairs were his first choice.

"Dr. Yang Fuchuan's laboratory is underground." Chen Luoyu seemed to have guessed what he was thinking.

"It's really not bad, Zhiqiu thought."  As soon as he lifted his legs and stepped into the elevator door, he was immediately greeted by a gust of cold wind blowing up from the deep elevator shaft.  The doors closed and the elevator began to slide downward.

"There are six floors." Chen Luoyu said expressionlessly, as if he was analyzing the instructions issued by the instrument.

Zhiqiu imagined the emptiness and darkness in the elevator shaft, staring blankly at the changing floor displays, hoping to overcome his fear.  It was strange, he found that the elevator only stopped twice, at the bottom floor and at the LHC.  ()
