Although it¡¯s not something worth showing off, I¡¯ll explain it anyway.

"Hoples Tywell" The man with this name is a time traveler.

¡°I don¡¯t like bloodletting, nor am I interested in taking only two baths in my life.  In my free time, I neither smoke nor gamble.  Although he has a bad habit of drinking, it is not a problem because he drinks well.

Yes, he is so different compared to the era he lives in.  Like a bright light in the darkness, extremely dazzling.

    But he was not happy.

Although he has traveled through time, this era is not satisfactory to him.

In this world that is somewhat similar to the earth, the progress of human civilization can only be said to be terrible.

The vast majority of people are illiterate.

The chaotic city is overflowing with sewage.

Doctors are just liars, and scholars are borderline retarded.

Such a world is no longer enjoyable. For Hopeless, just living is a kind of torture.

So he decided from the beginning.  No matter what, I have to leave here and go back to my hometown.  Back to that modern society with running water, air-conditioned rooms, and the Internet.

    at all costs.

    But it¡¯s not easy.

Although he had made up his mind since he was four years old, Hopeless had no clue.

In this life, he was born as an Orion, and his father was just a bad old hunter.  Although relying on a poorly maintained shotgun and the family's hunting dogs, the family's living standard is still decent.  But everything else is not worth mentioning.

No one can read, and no one knows what the world is like a hundred miles away.

Since his birth, the old hunter has been wandering around his hometown all his life.  The greatest man I've ever seen was just a stupid country knight: a liar, God knows, and a sinister-looking fellow.

So there was only one thing that Hopeless could do from the beginning.  Let yourself grow up as quickly as possible and become a character that can survive independently.

    ? ?Luckily it's easy.

When he was seven years old, he learned how to make medicine and mastered the techniques to survive in the forest.

When he was nine years old, he learned to read and write through a Bible in a village church.

By the time he was fourteen, he had started hunting independently: he took over his father's job and became the only hunter in the village.

So by the time he was sixteen, he had become a legend: a legendary hunter with a far-reaching reputation.

No one within a hundred miles is stronger than him, and no one is wiser than him.

As a hunter, he always has the most prey.  As a warrior, no bandit has ever dared to challenge his power.

    But this is meaningless.

Although he has lived in this world for eighteen years, Hopeless still hates this world.

He doesn¡¯t want to be a hero and change this ignorant world, nor does he want to be a king and take pleasure in the people¡¯s stupidity.  There was only one thing he wanted to do from the beginning: go home.

So after his father passed away his only plan was to leave.

Leaving the village where he was born, he went to find the legendary magician.  Then I tried my best to get home at all costs.

?This used to be easy, but lately it¡¯s been a bit of a hassle.

    "Then, that's it."

Put the last bag on the horse's back and secure it with a strong strap.  Hopeless turned around with a smile and patted Susan on the head.

She is Hopeles¡¯ neighbor, a very cute little girl.  Because her mother knitted a red hat for her, everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.

¡°About two years ago, this little guy almost encountered misfortune: a gray wolf broke into her grandmother¡¯s house and attacked the old lady.  If Hopeless hadn't happened to pass by, I'm afraid the beast would not only have eaten the poor old man, but even Little Red Riding Hood would have been doomed.

Because of this incident, Little Red Riding Hood¡¯s family is very grateful to him.  Not only does her mother always bring some snacks, but Little Red Riding Hood herself often comes to help.

At the beginning, she just came to help mend clothes and clean the room.  But after a while, this restless little guy began to become curious about firearms.

    "What's this?"

    "It's a shotgun."

"Is this how you killed the big bad wolf?"

    "That's right."

"Hey, teach me! I want to be a hunter too!"

HopelessI still remember that day three years ago.  On that sunny morning, the little girl in the red hat ran to his house carrying a bread basket and pointed at the flintlock on the fireplace and asked him questions.

Yes, maybe I shouldn't have answered at that time, but should have driven her home. To this day, the hunter will still be brooding about himself on that day. It was precisely because of his rash answer that day that he became the person he is today.  will get into trouble.

    "Then I'm leaving."

    ¡°Hey, don¡¯t you want to have lunch?¡±

"No, I'm going to set off early while it's still early. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to walk through the forest before dinner."

    ¡°That¡¯s it, that¡¯s really a pity.¡±

¡°Yeah, but there¡¯s nothing we can do. Then I¡¯ll¡ª¡±

"Then I'll go and talk to my mother, and then we'll set off together."

    ""

"Huh? What's wrong, master? You look bad?"

    right.

    ?That¡¯s it in a nutshell.

Although it is not obvious at first, Susan, or Little Red Riding Hood, the little girl who was almost swallowed by the wolf, is actually a guy with too much mobility.

He is chatty, reckless, and more heartless than brave.  If it weren't for her gentle and cute appearance, Hopeless would never have believed that this was a girl and not a wild boy who appeared out of nowhere.

    Yes.

Looking back now, on that morning three years ago, she used this face to deceive Hopeless and let him accept an apprentice.

"Listen Susan, I'm not going out to have fun, do you understand?"

The hunter knelt down and spoke seriously to Little Red Riding Hood.

"I can't take you there, this journey will be very dangerous. Take the shotgun I gave you, stay in the village, and take good care of your mother and grandmother."

He spoke with a very sincere attitude that was irresistible.

But Little Red Riding Hood didn¡¯t buy it.

Little Red Riding Hood has been surrounded by hunters since she was a child and has learned a lot of wonderful knowledge. Her ideas are also different from most people in this world.

Her mind is more flexible and her ideas are more open.  Like the hunter, she couldn't stand this dirty era. She couldn't accept the poor sanitary conditions, and she didn't want to associate with the ignorant and shallow villagers.

She also has her own dream: she wants to get out of this village and see the outside world.  Let¡¯s see if there is anything in that wider world that the teacher described so wonderfully.

Just like the cream cake, she has to eat a piece of it no matter what.  On this point, she would never compromise.

"But teacher, isn't it troublesome to travel alone?"

Little Red Riding Hood calmly began to wring her fingers.

"Although the teacher is very good, better than everyone else. But teacher, you are not good at washing clothes, right?"

    ¡°¡It¡¯s okay if it¡¯s a little dirty.¡±

"What about wine? Can the teacher tolerate life without mixing wine?"

¡°¡Alcohol can be overcome with perseverance.¡±

"Well, what the teacher said makes sense. But there is another question, teacher, how do you avoid it?"

When Little Red Riding Hood said this, she raised her head like a victor.  She pinched her waist, with a narrow smile on her face.

The hunter felt his scalp numb just by seeing this expression - he knew very well that as long as this girl showed a smile, something bad would happen.

"Even teachers with mysophobia can endure the trouble of dirty clothes. What about food? Since two years ago, I have been responsible for the teacher's diet. Whether it is bread or barbecue, ham or pie, I prepare these.  What should the teacher do if he is alone? Do you want to eat rusks?"

    ""

This is indeed a very serious issue, but the hunter thinks it can be tolerated.

However, before he could speak, Little Red Riding Hood had already continued speaking.

"It will be different if you take me with you. I know the teacher's appetite very well. I know what I like and don't like. And I am not weak. I have learned everything the teacher taught me, whether it is loading ammunition or  Cleaning the barrel of a gun, I can help with that.¡±

The hunter knew she wasn't lying.

Because all of this was taught to Little Red Riding Hood by him.

In the past three years, he has witnessed the growth of this little girl: watching her progress step by step until she became a reasonably qualified hunter.

To celebrate her 'graduation', the hunter even went to a blacksmith: he repaired an old gun he didn't use and gave it to her."Your mother won't agree."

The hunter doesn¡¯t want to be entangled anymore.

He stood up and straightened his clothes.  Then he continued.

"The same goes for your grandma, they won't agree."

But Little Red Riding Hood¡¯s smile became even brighter.

"What a coincidence, teacher. In fact, they have already agreed."

    "ha?"

"I asked them before I came to you, right? Mom and grandma both have the same idea: let me follow the teacher. I think it's better this way."

Speaking of which, the hunter didn¡¯t want to say anything more.

Although he has been refusing just now, he does not have to go alone.  Since Little Red Riding Hood has said so much, there is actually nothing wrong with bringing her along.

Or, as she said, bringing such a helper will be of great help to her on her journey.  No matter how bad it is, you can still serve as a chatting travel companion.

    "Okay, so be it."

Hopless got on his horse and put his felt hat on his head.  Then he adjusted the reins and looked at Little Red Riding Hood.

    "Is your luggage ready?"

    "Of course~"

Little Red Riding Hood sang happily and found her luggage and pony.

She imitated the hunter and put on a traveling felt hat for herself.  Then he got close to the teacher and laughed.

"Please take good care of me in the future! Teacher!"

    "That's so stupid."

And all the hunter could respond was a helpless sigh.
