    Let me sigh first

    "Dika!" Brand shouted hoarsely.

The corpse named Dika grinned and walked toward him step by step. He made a gurgling sound in his throat, as if he was holding a mouthful of water, and exuded a strong fishy smell, as if there were seaweed and fresh fish in his stomach.  Rotting inside.  There was no mercy in the other party's eyes, and his mind, which was filled with starfish and octopuses, could not remember anything from his lifetime.  []

"Don't be stupid. Use your halberd to stab him!" the alchemist reminded loudly.  He was wary of the water ghosts surrounding him from behind.  They were hesitating, hesitating, as if waiting for the moment when Dika would launch an attack.  "Stab it!"

Brand shouted back angrily, "He is Dika! Not an enemy!"

"He's dead, dead! Now he's a drowned water ghost! It's a walking corpse." Leo cursed angrily. This was the first time he knew that this guy was so lazy. Couldn't he be cruel?  ?  But isn't he the same?  Little did he realize it.  "Damn it, just close your eyes and stab it out! Or let me do it!"

"It has nothing to do with you." Brand rejected him loudly.

However, Dika has already approached them.  He jumped up without warning, like a hungry wolf pouncing on food, with a cruel red light flashing in his eyes, a tyranny that lost all human reason.  Brand offered no resistance. He was almost sluggish, like a piece of wood.

Damn it!  Leo cursed secretly.  The other three corpses were arranged in a triangle and rushed towards him, and they moved forward inexorably.  Leo didn't know what to do, and they fell into a situation where they were attacked from both sides.  He shouted and slashed the stomach of the water ghost who rushed forward with his sword. Then he took a step back and used all his strength to knock out the dazed Brand.  But the claws of Dika and the other two water ghosts tore his chest and shoulders, and he felt a sharp pain, and then anger overwhelmed everything.

"**, if you want to die, don't drag me with you."

"You don't fucking care about me."

    "Then you go and die!"

The alchemist managed to get up from the ground, swung his sword to cut off the legs of one water ghost, and another water ghost rushed up, grabbed his left hand, and opened his mouth to bite him.  The severe pain made him scream loudly.  While shouting, he frantically stabbed the opponent's body with the long sword in his hand. The sticky and stinky corpse liquid dripped down his hands, but the opponent seemed to feel no pain at all. He gritted his teeth and refused to relax, and his hands were still  Stop scratching and try to blind him.

"When the hell are you going to see this again!" Leo yelled angrily.

Dika ran over from his right, completely ignoring Brand who was lying on the ground feeling sorry for himself - he was not a threat at all - this thin and shriveled water ghost tried to take away Leo's sword, turning a blind eye to the shining blade.  .

"Stand up!" The alchemist used all his strength to kick away the water ghost biting his left arm, and a piece of flesh was torn off.  He screamed in pain and almost fainted.  "Stab him with a halberd!" he said weakly, and could only roll away in embarrassment.  Dika's paw fell empty.  Leo was furious.  He covered his injured arm and rushed directly towards the water ghost who was about to move, leaving him to Brand.  Either kill the opponent or be killed by the opponent.  But I don¡¯t even fucking want to die!

Leo tried to roar to cover up the pain.  The water ghost with its legs cut off dragged the blood all over the ground and crawled towards him.  This is a mind-numbing, chilling sight.  However, the alchemist now only sees venting, only madness that destroys everything.  He split the guy's head open with a sword, and the white brains flew out.  The water ghost biting his arm chewed his muscles with a greedy look on his face and a cruel look in his eyes.  There was also a guy without a stomach and intestines, staggering like a roly-poly as he continued to approach.

Behind him, Brand let out a scream. Leo looked back and saw that Dika's body had pinned Brand down.  His mouth gnawed at Brand's face like a predator.  His face was a mess of blood and flesh, and he couldn't help but feel sick and chilled.  Dika raised his head with a ferocious smile, his eyes glowing red, completely immersed in irreversible madness.  He stuffed his bony fingers into Brand's mouth, making Brand choke.  The ghostly hand kept drilling deep into his throat.

The alchemist had no time to rescue him.  He lost too much blood, his vision gradually turned black, and his head became dizzy.  He even found it difficult to deal with the water ghost in front of him.  He shook his sword to stop the other party from approaching¡ª¡ª

¡ª¡ªThe corpse face was close to Brand¡¯s face.  Those eyes were covered with strange frost and shone with an inhuman light.  Brand scratched its cold muscles with his nails, kicked its legs, tried to bite it with his mouth, pounded it with his hands, and tried to breathe

¡°Damn it, stab him through!¡± Leo shouted with all his strength.

The survival instinct finally takes over.  Brand mustered up the remaining strength in his body and pushed Dika away.  Suddenly the weight of the corpse? He was missing, and the fingers on his throat were torn apart.  The only thing Brand could do was to turn over, vomiting and shaking.

"Brand! Damn it, grab the weapon!"

Dika¡¯s body fell over in the corner, Brand grabbed the halberd and stood up unsteadily.  A strip of flesh hung down from his face, and blood lay down from his chin like a stream along his cheek.  He trembled and stepped closer to Deckard.

    "Dika!" Brand shouted.

The water ghost raised his head, took a big mouthful of meat from the corner of his mouth, and swallowed it whole.  Then he froze - Brand held the three-meter-long halberd in his hand, and the tip pierced his chest.  The water ghost didn't scream, let alone howl in pain.  He died without feeling pain.  But he was still stunned for a while.

They just stood there: Brand, riding straight, holding the end of his spear firmly with both hands.  And Dika's body, like a tattered rag doll, hung on the other end of the halberd, also holding the spear with both hands.  He gasped, an angry growl erupted from his throat, and suddenly pressed the halberd hard against his chest.

The alchemist saw something dark spread out from his back, and black blood spurted out from the wound on his front.  Brand screamed, "Dika!" He shouted in agony and stepped back, then back again, slightly away from him, but Brand did not let go of the halberd.  He withdrew his halberd, took another step back, and finally pressed it against the wall to support his leaning body.

Holding the halberd in both hands, Dika slowly approached Brand, and the halberd poked out from behind him.  Until nearly one meter of wooden pole was coated with a disgusting, sticky liquid that exuded a suffocating rancid smell.  He continued to move forward, approaching Brand who had retreated to a dead end.

Leo used the torn clothes to bandage the wound haphazardly.  The two water ghosts had already rushed forward one after the other.  He narrowly avoided one, but was knocked to the ground by another.  He groaned in pain, rolled on the ground, and hit his head on the wooden box next to him.  His eyes went black, and he could hardly see anything clearly. He only caught a glimpse of a black figure rushing towards him.  The twitching left hand managed to form a seal, blasted the opponent out, hit the ceiling, and knocked the oil lamp to the ground.

After the surroundings were dim for a moment, a bunch of fire suddenly ignited, and then became fierce, rising higher and higher.  The orange firelight dispelled the darkness and dried the stuffy water vapor in the cabin.  The rising flames blocked the road between the two water ghosts and Leo. They roared and hesitated, not daring to cross the relatively weak flames.

Leo took a breath and struggled to get up from the ground.

On the other side, Dika sighed again and choked on the surging black blood, which suddenly made people feel extremely sad.  He moved a little further, spreading his arms.  Brand shouted desperately, but still did not let go of the halberd.  He tried to push Deckard back - but it was no use.  He moved forward little by little, and finally held Brand's head.  He shook his head wildly and screamed.  Dika's body continued to move forward along the halberd. He lowered his head, close to Brand's broken face, and a cold light flashed from his sharp teeth.

The alchemist stumbled forward, his feet trembling and weak, but his right hand was still intact and not trembling.  He took one step, then another, then a third.  Each step becomes more composed.  Step out with your left foot, hold it steady, twist your upper body, and swing out a heavy sword.  He saw Deckard's eyes.  Everything is settled now.  Whether it was witchcraft or a curse, it was now over.  He slashed.

He swung the sword according to the swordsmanship moves as the female swordsman had trained him, then took another step forward, turned around, and pulled the sword out of his body, drawing a strange blood line in the air.  .  A skinny head flew into the airand landed in the rising flames. A plume of black smoke rose up, and a burning stench came out.

Brand huddled against the wall, holding his head in his arms, his body trembling continuously.  I don't know if it's because of pain or sadness.

"Stand up." Leo said weakly, "We have to get out of here."

"I killed Deckard." Brand covered his face and groaned when he touched the bleeding wound on his face.  He looked at the headless body in front of him and began to sob, "I killed Dika."

You were almost killed by him.  The alchemist was too weak to explain.  "Hurry up, we have to get out of here." The fire grew stronger and stronger, and began to lick the ceiling at the top of the cabin, drawing in the surrounding barrels and boxes, and forcing back the screaming water ghosts.  The hot tongue of fire burned his skin, there was a crackling sound, the stacked barrels fell down, and the ship's hull shook.

    "where are they?"

    "The fire will kill them."

Leo helped Brand stand up.  Subconsciously avoiding Dika's body, the thin arms tightly held the bloody penis inserted into his dark flesh.Halberd.

    Brand moaned again, "Dika¡ª¡ª"

    "Don't look. Let's go."

They supported each other and climbed out of the cabin, and the soldiers outside immediately caught them as they were crumbling.

"Damn, I thought you died in there." The captain said angrily. He saw them with scars and was startled by Brand who was missing almost half of his face.  "What the hell, why did you become like this? Where is someone else?"

    "Dika¡ª¡ª"

"I know, I know." the captain said.

"Let's leave first." Leo said weakly, letting a soldier take the sword he was holding tightly in his hand.  "It's about to burn down here."

"What?" The captain was stunned for a moment. Suddenly, the terrifying shouts of water ghosts came from the cabin, and black smoke filled the air. "Oh, hell, are you planning to burn this ship?"

The alchemist did not answer.  He looked at the cabin where flames were coming out and thought, "It's burning!"  Burn harder!

    ¡î

"What should I do for you?"

A dazzling bolt of lightning pierced the sky, and roaring thunder immediately exploded in the air.  Outside, a few drops of rain fell sparsely.

Leo and Brand were sitting on a bench, with two crossed swords and a huge head of a sea fish hanging above them.  The two of them lowered their heads and said nothing.  The captain was pacing the room, breathing furiously.

"You damn white devils!" The captain suddenly stopped, shouted at the two of them, and at the same time threw the thick pile of paper in his hand heavily on the table.  "This is the complaint I received. They are all fiercely written letters of entreaty. They contain not only the seals of the nobles, but also the seals of the temple priests! Are you bringing disaster when you come here? Is there no other city in the world?  ?¡±

It seems like it¡¯s not his turn to worry about.  Nor did he have the power to expel them.  Leo leaned against the wall and closed his eyes to rest. The wound was itching, and he wanted to scratch it several times.  He felt sleepy endlessly and didn't want to talk.

Brand, whose face was bandaged, muttered.

"Say! What did he say?" the captain shouted as if his hair was exploding.

Leo had no choice but to explain, "He said he didn't understand what you were saying."

"Damn white devil, I'm talking to you like a fool!" The captain circled around the room with nowhere to vent his anger. "I should really throw you all into the dungeon, or drag you out and parade you on the streets! The Desert  Damn it, mother!"

This time, both Leo and Brand remained silent.

The captain took a few breaths and said, "Look what you did - burnt the ship, and that scream Why didn't you just kill them? What you did was simply a sign of cruelty!"

"They are monsters." The alchemist corrected, "Fighting monsters is not cruel, not to mention they are almost impossible to kill."

"So you let the whole city see the fire?" The captain grabbed a handful of paper from the table and threw it at Leo's feet, and the white paper fell freely.  "It's full of indictments against you, and everyone is asking me to execute you."

He can't do it.  Leo was unmoved.  "Nobody wants this. None of us."

"But I think!" the captain shouted cursingly, "Since you showed up, I have been wiping your butts. I am still trying to protect you! Mother of the Desert, I must be crazy."

Leo looked up at him and said coldly, "Without us, you would have died long ago."

"Damn it, should I kneel down and bow down to you, be grateful to you, and give you a 'Good Citizen Medal of Honor'?" The captain jumped up and scolded, "Fuck you, God knows what I just want now  Cut off your heads! Especially that idiot! For the sake of a man, he turned into a desperate person¡ª¡ª"

    "That's his friend."

The captain smiled coldly and remained silent.  He turned his head and stared at Leo, "And you! I really shouldn't have any expectations of you. Damn it, what else can you do now? I shouldn't have let you get on that ship."

"You should have remembered the original reason." Leo said calmly.

The captain went all the way around just for this.  He could tell.  "Okay, very good, then remember the promise between us. I want to find out everything, damn it!" the captain said angrily, "Interrogate him well, and then I will come to interrogate you. Don't even think about running away, even if you have  His Royal Highness¡¯s order of mercy!¡±

The alchemist watched him open the door and leave, and the heavy wooden door slammed shut with a loud bang.

Brand lowered his head and remained silent, his head wrapped in light gray cotton. His head made him look as ridiculous as staring at an onion, but his mood was probably not good at all.  The other party didn't even look like he wanted to reconnect with him, nor did he want to hear any concern.  So he simply skipped the time-wasting pleasantries and beat around the bush and got straight to the point.

"Brand, you should tell me now," Leo broke the silence, "What happened?"

Brand, whose black hair had now been shaved off, was silent for a long time, and finally said, "We took the boat to go somewhere else." Leo guessed that he must have encountered a storm on the way.  Brand glared at him, but endured his ridicule.  He said in a voice that sounded like a broken gong after being injured, "We are off course."

no doubt.  "You just come all the way here?"

"Yes." Brand said painfully, constantly gasping for air, and the muscles of the wound were stretched when he spoke, making his words unclear.  "We lost our way. Then we met them" A look of horror appeared on his half-exposed face.

Leo could definitely guess what they encountered.  "Is it the battleship of the Leo Islanders, or the octopus, the ghost pirate?"

He raised his head suddenly, "How do you know?"

"I've met him before." Leo said with a bitter look on his face, "You are lucky enough to survive."

    "But, Dick¡ª¡ª"

"That's not your fault." Leo tried to comfort him, "It's because of the curse."

"I don't need your comfort." Brand suddenly said in disgust, and moved a little towards the other end of the bench.  "You'd better take care of yourself."

Leo completely understood where his hostility came from.  But now is obviously not the time to get to the bottom of it.  He softened first.  He raised his hands to indicate his mistake.  "We won't talk about this, Brand." He paused, seeing the other party calm down, and then said, "Tell me, where did you meet them? The sailors here have been discussing that ugly sea monster all day long.  "

"I don't know where," Brand said. "They appeared one night, like an army on the deck, walking in the cabin, making all kinds of noises, creating all kinds of hallucinations. A lot of people died first.  They were pulled into the deep sea, and it was like we had a nightmare. When we woke up, the ship was already in port. You know the next thing that happened. They were almost here, right?" Bran  De asked, and a certain well-hidden coldness suddenly flashed across the half of his exposed face.

The alchemist pretended not to care.  He tried to calm his beating heart.  "Yeah," he said, "I think they're around and coming soon. We've got to find a chance to get out of this damn place."
