Montetier came to us, and then I realized that he was shorter than when I saw him during the day.  In order not to arouse suspicion, I first briefly introduced the purpose of our visit and hoped that Montetier would take off his hood, which I thought was very rude.

Montetier first told us that he had never been to the town of Silence, and he had no magic.  He is just a wizard who knows a little bit about healing, or you can call him a "witch doctor".  And then he still refused to take off his hood, and he didn't explain why?  This makes me very unsatisfied.

I told him what we wanted to do for him?  Before his execution at the stake tomorrow.  But he still refused.  Montetier said that he was not afraid of being burned at the stake, and that if the wizard god "Leale" knew, he would definitely forgive him at that moment.  Of course, if he is burned to death, it only means that the wizard god "Leal" does not love him, so he deserves to be burned to death.

Stanton angrily cursed Mr. Leale. I wanted to say something else, but Montetier drove us out mercilessly.  In desperation, we had to leave the cell.

There was nothing to say all the way, and my brother and sister Wikija and I returned to our residence.  We wanted to comfort each other, but no one could speak, so we had to go back to our rooms to rest.

I couldn¡¯t fall asleep when I returned to my room. I thought if Xiu Ting was here, she would definitely insist on saving Montetier.  I think I should do something, not for Montetier, but for Xiu Ting.

I called the servant at my residence and asked him to find me a set of ordinary clothes. Then I carefully wrapped my work clothes and put them in a wooden box. Then I asked the servant to go to Richard to inform me, and then I  arrive.

Fortunately it was not too late at this time. When I arrived at Cheerful Richard's place, he was getting ready for bed.  I politely begged him to forgive Montetier, and immediately took out my suit of clothes.  Cheerful Richard liked this suit of clothes very much. He asked someone to light a few more lamps, looked at them carefully under the lights, and kept gesturing with his own coat.

I can¡¯t stop bragging about this outfit.  I told Richard that if he promised to release Montetier immediately, I would give him the best set of clothes in the entire continent.  However, the cheerful Richard returned the clothes to me after careful consideration.  I know there's really nothing he can do.

Lost, I returned to my apartment dejectedly, lying on the bed tossing and turning.  One moment he thought of Xiu Ting and Fat Ball, the next moment he thought of Montetier and his black robe, and the next moment he thought of the Vecchia brothers and sisters.  After being in this world for so many days, I still haven't been able to consciously integrate into it. Instead, I'm often confused.  I think I should give something up.

In my confusion, the dawn bell rang, and I knew that Montetier was about to be executed.  I turned over and sat up, staring blankly at the roof.  I counted the time in my mind and imagined Montetier walking towards death step by step.  I felt suffocated and my head started to hurt.

It was completely dawn, and Bitril had already packed her things and came to call me.  I asked about the scene when Monteil was burned to death, but found that neither the Vikia nor I went. Maybe we were all afraid.

We went out together, and I went to say good-bye to cheerful Richard, and told him that I could not fulfill my promise under the circumstances, and that I wished to leave.  Cheerful Richard was very understanding. He allowed me to leave and took us all the way to the city gate.

The burning platform where Montetier was burned was just a little outside the city gate. When we passed by, it had become a pile of ashes.  Bitril sobbed softly, and Stanton surprisingly did not curse again, but just walked quietly alone.

I was still forced to ride on the "Sunshine of Vekia" and gradually moved away from the "Wind City", but I couldn't guarantee whether the place we were going to would be another "Wind City".

We have been walking in silence all morning, and everyone seems to be immersed in an invisible sadness.  At noon, we found a shady spot to have lunch.  Beatle took out two candles and held a short memorial ceremony for Montetier.  In the afternoon, things got a little better, and Stanton and I started talking.

"DiBoer, what kind of guy do you think the king is? I guess he must be a cold old man." Stanton said confidently.

"I think you are wrong. Didn't Bitril say that King Titlik just recently married the princess of the Grand Duchy of Patek?" I looked at this guy with some fun, while Bitril was stealing  Smiling.

"You are a young man when you marry a princess? I think it must be an old cow eating young grass!" Stanton still insisted on his opinion.  "If it weren't for the old man, why would he let the Vatican guys burn a good man alive! I don't think the king?He is an old man, cruel and stupid.  "

This guy is cursing his own king unscrupulously. I think I must give him some rational guidance.

"Stanton, why are you so stupid! It's obvious that this matter was brought about by the Holy See. What does it have to do with the king? Even if the king wants to take care of it, he must first know that this is happening. How about you  If you are convinced and have the ability to get a Holy Dragon Knight, then you have the final say over the entire continent."

"Hey! What did you say, DiBoer, that you know that I, Stanton, cannot become a Holy Dragon Knight? To tell you the truth, this is my goal in life."

This guy Stanton was bragging. I smiled and said:

"Bragging guy, do you think you are very capable? Then do you dare to compete with me?" I asked slyly.

    "Say!, what is the comparison?"

"It's a race! But I've been carrying equipment for so long. For the sake of fairness, if you carry something to compete with me next, do you dare?" I put down the equipment and looked at the guy provocatively.

"You're right, then let me carry it. How do we decide the outcome?" This guy fell into the trap.

"From now until sunset, whoever reaches Luoluo Village first will win." I pointed to a roadside sign that read "Ahead - Luoluo Village" and said.

"Okay! I'm leaving." After saying that, Stanton, the stupid guy, picked up his equipment and ran away.

I walked slowly and leisurely, chatting with Bitril calmly.

"Master Diboer, you will lose if you don't run away." Bitril reminded me.

"If you lose, just lose. Anyway, I didn't say what you would lose if you lose. Haha." My trick succeeded and I laughed loudly.  Beatrille endured it, and then started laughing, and our black-haired demon knight had already disappeared.
